Well, I beat Riku (When you find out it isn't really him) But while I was sleeping my stepmom unplugged my ps2..for some reason..And now I can't beat him again T~T It took me one try before.. And now all he does is kill me with Dark Aura.. Anyway to avoid it?

well let me tell yousomething marluxia is hard took 4 tries to beat him but the coolest thing is after you beat soras campaign you get rikus campaign so yeah that can help you push to beat the bosses

And I'm on 10+ tries with Larxene now.

Every person in that game is hard b/c the can break u deck. It's a very strategic game and u have to make really good sleights and makes sure u know ur deck really well so u can find ur heath cards.

It's annoying if you ask me T~T I'm glad no other games use the dumb card system.

yeah, ik. very annoying. u might want to try reading a FAQ on gameFAQS if ur really stuck. That's what i always do.

I absolutely hated the card system. :dodgy:

 

I spammed sleights in all the boss fights, namely sonic blade. I'd be so lost without sleights. T_T

Now I feel like playing this again. The first time I played I just flew through it for the story line. But the card system makes me want to die. :dodgy:

I honestly am only playing to get the storyline

I hate it mainly because I'm a button masher. When I first played the game, I just mashed x and used up all my cards quickly. Obviously that didn't work out to well. And I hated when enemies would break my cards. >_>

So yeah, I'd much rather play KH or KH2 and mash the x button to my heart's content. :angel:

-sigh- That guide doesn't help much because I don't have a lot Arcs blahblah or Holy T~T I HATE HERRRRR.

Yay! Good job! Larxene was a nightmare for me, too.

I never really used holy. And Ars Arcanum had such a low card total (1-6) that I didn't use it often. Seriously, my boss-fighting deck consisted of sonicbladesonicbladesonicblade (you get the idea) and then some cures and elixers and stuff. It took the fun out of deck building and strategizing, but I was only playing for the story anyway.

How can you live? I think I learned s.b on level 28, and I always choose the sleight option when I level up and they are available. Without sonic blade I never would have beaten the game. -I fail-

I'm up to Axel II now XDDD And because I have my sleights set up to pwn Except against Larxene and Vexen >_> I hated them.

Vexen was a nightmare until I used my sonic blade deck to squash him. What level are you on now? I was totally under leveled because I hated the card system so much I avoided battles at all costs!

-sigh- Axel is harder than the other guys T~T

Yeah, Axel gave me some problems. He would always warp away before I could hit him. Blizzard based sleights work really well against him.

 

I don't know what level I was on when I beat Axel, but I was on level 63 when I beat the game.

Well, I'm going back now into other rooms to level up and get this sonic blade you speak of (:

Also, this thread made me dig up re:com and I just started a new game on proud mode. The card system is going to kill me. I haven't used it in forever. >_>

I hope I do.. ATM though I'm resting in bed.. I'm pretty sick the past few days.

And sure, you get a cookie! I haven't played this game in forever and it's nice to go back every once in a while. Although I'll probably be swearing at my TV within an hour or so due to the evilness of the card system.
