The Theocracy of Rausten, Ruled by Mansel, the Divine Emperor.

 

The Grado Empire, Ruled by Vigarde, the stalwart Silent Emperor

 

These five countries house the power of the Sacred Stones.

 

They are joined by the emerging mercantile republic of Carcino.

In these times of peace, tales of past conflict have drifted into legend,

In an instant, the whole of Magvel is threatened by an unexpencted atrocity.

The Grado Empire, the Largest of the Sacred Stone nations,has invaded Renais

under orders from Emperor Vigarde.

A longtime ally of Grado, Renais is caught off guard, unable to mount any resistance.

Grado's forces move quickly, seizing one territory after another.

Compounding King Fado's worries, his son, Prince Ephraim, has gone missing

Grado's Momentum carries its armies to the gates of the Castle Renais itself.

Renais will fall...

(Seth and Erika must escape the Castle Renais, and head west to Frelia)

Erika ran through the castle to the gate. "ive gotta get out of here before Grado's men get here!" she said to herself

"Then allow me to help." Seth said appearing behind Erika. Seth was on top of his horse and went off of it to walk up beside Erika. "So, we need to leave, yet this gate seems to be locked up. How do you supposed we get out of here?" Seth asked her.

"Seth!" Erika said. "honestly i dont know what to do. I have not weapons and the Grado soliders are coming." she said "what do we do Seth!?"

"Well, my weapons wont break that lock. Maybe we can climb, but my horse wont be able to do the same. I know! Why dont we just wait until they get here and then sneak out?" Seth asked her.

"WHAT!" yelled Erika in shock "but what if they spot us!"

"Well, what choice do we have? We cant leave the horse behind. Plus, if they do then we can fight, but I doubt that since we can just use these diguses I found." Seth said and pulled out two outfits.

"um where did you get those?" Erika asked

"Erika, do you really expect me to come here and not search around the place? I got this from some goof ball that left their room open." Seth said putting his outfit on over his clothes.
