( Lets put this straight. This story is completely original. Please enjoy my new series. I'm hoping it'll get good reviews.)

Chapter 1

The sun rised over a forest. Birds chripping as they flew in the air. One bird feather fell off a bird and started floating towards the ground. There, under a tree layed a man. He had short brown hair, sword on his back, black jacket on him, scar under his right eye that lead to the upper part of his lip, and he had a white shirt with silver pants. The feather fell on his forehead. The man moved his hand and grabbed the feather and blew it away. He stood up. He looked around. He smiled as he enjoyed the peaceful mornings. The man sigh.

 

'' Guess it's time to get up. Now, where could have he gotten to?'' the man said as he then kicked a rock and started walking. He looked around. The forest was quite huge. The trees were about 6 feet high with little wood land creatures living in them. He then heard noise. He turned around and grabbed the hilt of his sword. He then saw a little boy come out of a brush. The boy had short red hair, brown shirt, blue shorts, and he had a parrel scar on his forehead.

 

'' There you are. I've been looking for you Zen.''said the man as he had his hand let go off his sword and stared at Zen. Zen then stood up and brushed the dirt off his swords.

 

'' It's not fun playing hide and seek with you. Your never fun Jaden.'' Zen started as he pouted. He then ran up to a tree and stood on a branch.'' How much further do we have to walk until we reach that so called target of yours?'' Zen asked.

 

'' Not far. It's only about a few hours ahead. We could have gotten there faster if you didn't ask to stop everytime when you had to go to bathroom.'' Jaden said as he then started walking.'' Let's go. We can't be late for my meeting.''

 

'' Okay brother.'' Zen saw Jaden walking ahead of him.'' Hey! Wait for me brother!''Zen yelled as he jumped off the tree and ran to catch up with Jaden. Zen then turned around and saw a man. He wore a white coat, sword on his waist, and his hood covered up his face.'' Jaden! There's a creepy guy!'' Jaden turned around and didn't see no one.

 

'' What are you talking about? Quit your games and lets go. Don't follow me and I'll leave you behind.'' Jaden said as Zen whined a bit and started running to follow him. The man stood on a branch filping a coin.

 

'' Seems your not gonna stop Jaden.'' the man said as he filped the coin in the air and caught it. He saw it landed on heads.'' Don't worry. I'll get sooner or later. Just because you have that boy, doesn't mean anything.'' the man said as he dropped the coin and disappeared into thin air. The coin landed on the ground as it had Zen for tails and Jaden for heads.

 

Jaden and Zen kept walking until they saw a temple ahead. Zen started dancing happily as they finally got to their location they needed to get to. They kept walking as they entered a small village. It had houses in rows. They looked around and saw people in wrecked clothing. They then stopped at the gates of the temple.

 

'' What?! We have to do more walking?'' Zen complained as he saw about 50 steps. The gurads then pointed their swords to them.'' Oh. Jaden. You know what to do.'' Zen said as he then started running around Jaden.

 

'' Yeah yeah. I'm Jaden Ukio. I'm here to see the North lord. I have urgent business to discuss with him.'' Jaden stated as he made Zen stand still. The gurads looked at each other and stood away from them as the gates opened.'' Let's go Zen.'' Zen then started following Zen up the steps. The man in the white coat stood on top of a house. He was filping a coin. He caught it and saw it landed on heads again. He then dropped it and jumped up in the air heading to the temple.

I love it!Only the first chapter and already amazing!Keep going!

Chapter 2

Jaden and Zen got to the top of the stairs. Jaden looked at Zen as he fell on the ground tired. He then looked up and saw the doors. They had two swords crossing on it like a symbol of peace. Jaden then put his hand on the doors and the two doors started opening. Zen stood up as he heard the gates open. Jaden and Zen started walking in the temple.

'' Brother, so this belongs to North king?'' Zen asked as he looked around and saw pictures of the North king. He saw the North king had long black hair, green eyes, two gurads in every picture, and he was wearing king robes. They then got in front of a door. It had the symbol king on it. Jaden slowly opened the door. There, sat the North king with tea in front of him.

'' Hello North lord. I am Jaden. You were execpting me.'' Jaden said as he sat on his knees. Zen sat next to him.'' I'm here because you called for protection am I right?'' Jaden simply asked as he took a silp from the tea glass that was next to him.

'' Yes. That is right Jaden my boy. I need to attend a meeting between the East, West, and South lords. I'll need your protection because high skilled killers usually go after the lords when they travel to the once a year meeting between the four lords. So, I'll pay 100,000 Yen each day. Sounds fair?'' The north lord said.

'' Yes. Sounds very fair. I'll use all my skills to protect you my lord. May I ask you, what is your name?'' Jaden asked as he finished his tea. He looked at Zen who was soundly asleep on his lap. Jaden then looked back up to the lord.

'' My name is not important right now.'' The north lord said as he said it in a serious tone.'' Now, it's to hit the hay. It's beginning to hit nightfall. This will be your room tonight.'' The lord said as he then walked out with his two gurads following him. Jaden then put Zen on a bed that was in the room and looked at him. He then sat down in a chair as he was sure he saw the North lord somewhere before. He then forgot about it and fell asleep.

'' Gah!'' yelled a gurad as he fell on the ground dead. The man in the white coat was holding a spear. He was filpping his coin with his other hand. He then saw more gurads rushing towards him. The man then jumped onto the ceiling and ran across the ceiling and he then landed behind the ten gurads as they were then slashed and killed. The man then looked at the Kings door.

'' Seems your in here. Time I finish the job.'' The man said as he then kicked the door opened. He saw the room empty.'' You can run, but you can't hide Jaden.'' the man then went out the other door killing more gurads. He then turned around killing more gurads.

Jaden and Zen kept running through the halls of the temple. They saw a large amount of gurads ran past them. Jaden saw and he and Zen started running towards the Lords room. Jaden and Zen then walked in the room and saw the man with his spear at the lords head.

'' Get away from the lord.'' Jaden said as Zen hide and grabbed his blade. He stared at the man. The man then disappeared and reappeared with his spear and started attacking. Jaden then drew his blade and slashed the coat a bit. Jaden then stabed the ground.

'' That's.'' The man said as he got ready. Jaden's sword transformed into spear and sword. A sword on one end and a spear on the other.'' That's the.'' the man said.

'' That's right. The sword that was lost eons ago. The Dawn Breaker.'' Jaden said as he got ready to fight.
