You see in the trailer Sora fighting Ursula with KH1 Riku, I think its part of the Monstro dream. Sora escapes with KH1 Riku from Monstro only to be attacked by Ursula, seeing as it is a dream and dreams can be based of memoires it is not uncommon for them to overlap. We may even see other worlds crossing over.

Well, I think it was either at the beginning or that it had something to do with the past and Maleficent's plans (remember that Maleficent was in another trailer too). It's far from just Sora's memoreis that are being explored. A little mermaid based world in teh realm of sleep wouldn't really make sense seeing as we know it's awake.

If You look carefully during fullscreen you'll see that she's missing a bar of health(a blank square in the health gauge)

Also rather than a tournament mode, I thinks it'll be more of a world where you'll face past enemies(taken form from both your memories and elements from RoD) in order to get stronger or something(just guessin) Kind of like Chain of Memories!

This is what I think as well to be honest. Maybe you get to battle past enemies before you get to the dream world or something. But I really find it funny that Ursula just came out of nowhere. I don't think she belongs in that trailer lol I felt like I was trolled during that.

Except that the trailer you're talking about was confirmed to be "non-cannon"

 

Actually, now that I'm scrolling through the trailers again part of that scene is shown in the TGS trailer, (which is canon) and in it Sora and Riku are in their Kingdom Hearts 1 attires (although Riku has his hair cut, so they made the designs the same as the final DDD ones) to support what I said before. I can't quite tell if Rikus hair is cut like it is in DDD in the Ursula battle though, or if it's how it was in Kingdom Hearts 1, it's too hard for me to tell.

Based on what we just found out in the new magazines and such. Yen Sid said that he started Sora and Riku off when Destiny Islands was asleep, therefore Ursula may have been there at some point in time? Just a thought though.
