Looks like a new game's on the horizon.

 

During a Q&A session during a visit to Tokyo on Saturday, Junichi Masuda was asked about when the next main series game, a game after Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition, is to come out. In response, he said that he can't really respond to that question but said to watch an upcoming Pokémon Smash episode, due to air this weekend. This was followed by a post on twitter stating the same thing. Despite this, however, the summary and trailer of that episode of Pokémon Smash makes no mention of any sort of announcement.

I hope its Pokemon Grey... but who knows.. It can be anything! Maybe even a 3ds game, which i wouldn't mind... or what if they made grey a 3ds game in the first place? maybe they make it so that people can buy a ds version of it, and the people who got one can buy it for the 3ds so we can get 3D POKEMON GLORY!!

Black and White were released 1 year and a half in Japan, I think that it's too early for Pokémon Grey.

wild thought but they made FR and LG inbetween Emerald and Ruby/Saphire right?? What if they decide to remake Ruby/Saphire then? That would make me even more happy than if they made grey... R/S/E was my absolute favorite of the games

well...i hope for a remake of old games like yellow or emerald,but,if its something new,i think it could be cool to.

Someone told me that they were gonna make remakes of Ruby and Sapphire. He said that's why HM Dive only let you in the abyssal ruins place. The way he sees it is that since HM Dive originated from the R/S games, the fact that it came back in B/W was for this reason

Let's think like this:

 

Gen 3: R/B/G/Y remakes

Gen 4: G/S remakes

 

By this rate Gen 5's gonna make a R/S/E remake.

 

And in Gen 6 there's going to be a D/P/Pt remake.

The director was asked about the sequel to Black and White, but he said he couldn't say anything on the matter untill Sunday, and to watch Pokemon Smash that day.

So if he's announcing any new game, it'll be Gray. I can't wait though, I'm going to attempt to translate the game myself 8D

 

Also, it's not too early for Gray, there's that movie in Japan this summer about Kyuurm and his new form, which will be in Pokemon Gray. Since the movie is coming out in a few months, they can't push the game any farther than sometime this year. But hey, the sooner the better. I miss N, and hope Gray has something more on him.

 

Nintendo Direct is also going to announce a new game tomorrow, which could also be it.

IT'S TOO DAMN EARLY FOR GRAY. GOD.

I have a great feeling that it will be for DS and not for 3DS, mostly because the first two came out for DS and it looks like the Pokemon Company wants the 3DS population to increase. Or maybe, I hope I'm wrong. They could also release two versions, one for DS and other for 3DS, similar to the latest Harvest Moon. Another option is to release it as a DS game but with enhanced features when played on a 3DS.

Oh wow.... all they did was make a evolve like form of the B&W Legendarys...
