Dream, Drop, Distance... Drive?

Posted

This may have been answered, but I'm still a little new around here, so I thought I'd ask anyway! ; )

--------

So, I was playing KH2 earlier today, and I really liked how the drive forms work. The "drive" gauge and the "drop" gauge look a lot a-like. Does anyone think there might be a chance of something like drive forms in KH3D?

If there was, I am sure we would have seen it by now.

btw, Welcome!!!

Anyways, I doubt it. That's too much chizz for one gauge to handle.

Nomura did say that Drive forms will be 'natural' to Sora and Riku in KH3D. I mean like they are already on Drive forms like how they swing on poles and be able to climb walls.

Have you seen the first scans of gameplay from BBS?

Sadly, this is most likely true.

That makes since. I SO HOPE that dual wielding will be an option in this game!

BBS? uh... no. But I've beaten that game and BBS FM 100%. If that means anything...

No, there won't be. It's just a gauge. If there are going to be ANY sort of "transformations" it will be similar to the style shifts in BbS. Using certain command types will give you a boost in certain aspects and give you different abilities for a short time.

No, the Drop Gauge, as seen in the latest trailer, is basically how long you have to play as each character.

Your new,so we don't blame you for being mistaken.BUT all the same,it is impossible for it to be ANYTHING like the drive gauge.

Well,I learned how the Drop Gauge worked in the article about KH:3D for Nintendo Power on the homepage and our gallery, but all the same,it IS how long you have on each character.

Where the heck did he say THAT?! The drop gauge is for how long you have on a character?! MAN,how many people actually KNOW what the drop gauge is and does?! How many people read the articles about it from Nintendo Power in our article?! Dang!

There won't be drives, but I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for some way Sora can dual-wield.

I'm not new, I've been here for over a year. And I'm going by what I saw in the trailer. If you look close at the point where Sora switches to Riku, you can see the Drop Gauge counting down to 0 and then the switch happens.

It's okay, everyone makes mistakes.
