If you're tired of saving Peach from Bowser or games like Zelda, Fox, Metroid, Halo, MW3, buy Jak II one of the hardest platformers on PS2 to date. Jak II is like a T rated version of GTA. You can run people over, punch them, kick them, shoot them, whatever the hell you want. It also adds a lot of platforming and weapon mods to add to the fun. The game will take at least 20 hours to finish and is full of extremely hard missions. Once you get to 10% the whole game changes. There's even a few missions that are impossible to beat in challenge mode.
The game takes place in Haven City, where these creatures called "Metal Heads" live outside the city walls. The main characters are Jak and Daxter. You have to fight these Metal Heads and the leader of Haven City, Baron Praxis throughtout the whole game. The platforming alone isn't what makes this game so difficult, it's also the boss battles.
Not only that but the game has a soundtrack that is sounds very... (thinks of a word) you get the point.
