Lost

I've never found buried treasure

But I have found a great pleasure

In someone I am sure

Surpasses the value of gold and jewel

I caused her pain with my failure to serve

Bur she loved me more than I will ever deserve

Hollow and cold

Much harsher than snow

Kept my cool

But looked too cruel.

Forever alone's an understatement

Now sorrow's my punishment

I'll close myself up to all the rest

Until I can clean up this mess

And find my way back to the best.
