As they walked towards the door, Kyrre slowed a bit. She had spent so much of her life dedicated to finding the Meta, he would not let her down here. "We'll get them, I promise you that." And he smiled at her, and they both walked out of the building.

Soul stood in the forest,kitted out with all his gear."I wonder how the others are doing" soul looks up at the sky,in search of an answer. "some things I guess can't be answered" when soul said that he heard the trickle of water. "I guess I'm pretty thirsty from all that time I spent in that cell.a little drink won't hurt" he said approaching the direction of the sound.

Hunay had a grin as well. This would probably be the only chance to work with a competent team against the Meta. Kyrre turned around before he noticed her grin. She followed him, not knowing where he was going but not caring at the moment.

Soul walked along the forest path and stumbled across a military base. "crap..." he whispered. He created an illusion and looked through the illusions eyes as his illusion advanced on the base. "definitely military." soul says. He stands up and walks towards the base in the complete open.

"you! Stop walking and turn around!"

Soul heard a voice blast across a megaphone. "you asshole! I dare you to say that to my face!" soul shouts,running up the guard tower with his blade unsheathed.

The car pulled up. 7:00 sharp, just as they were stepping out of the building. Kyrre was ready though, hopefully. His suited handler stepped out, and was straight to the point, as always, he glanced at Hunay and spoke.

 

"Picked out your team?"

 

Kyrre offered the files of his chosen agents. "Here sir."

 

The suited man began to flip through them, examining them thoroughly but quickly. He didn't even look up when he spoke next. "And her?"

 

"The last chosen recruit, this is Hunay Imuna, sure."

 

"I see." He finished slipping through them and looked up at Kyrre with serious eyes, more than usual. "Team accepted, Mr. DeRou, but first, I need to speak with you."

 

"What is it sir?"

 

"Alone, if you would." The man showed a slip of compassion and turned to Hunay with an incredibly small, but noticeable smile. "Sorry miss, we'll just be a moment, wait here if you would."

 

They walked together for a minute until they were out of hearing range and out of view of the car and Hunay. "What's her power?"

 

Kyrre was shocked, he stumbled over some words and tried to respond. "U-um, sir, I d-"

 

"Her powers, Mr. DeRou!"

 

This time Kyrre was quicker and sharper, he needed to trust this man, he worked for him now. "Night Vision, invisibility, and teleportation, to varying degrees."

 

"Good" The man dropped his serious expression a bit. "It's good to see you won't lie to me. We have files on more people than you think, Mr. DeRou, far more than just the Meta, we've known about her for years." He took a second to think. "Keep her on the team, tell nobody of he abilities, and she could be a valuable asset, a worthy member of the team. She is rather volatile though, Mr. DeRou, I hope you can handle her."

 

"She's a good person, and she's here to help, I'm sure we'll be fine."

 

By now they were walking back to the car, Kyrre was far more relaxed now.

 

The suited man approached Hunay, "I'm sorry for never truly greeting you miss, it's nice to meet you, I hope you'll serve Kyrre well, if he picked you, then you must be good." He smiled a small bit, it was genuine, Kyrre noticed, he had confidence in Kyrre and his team and Kyrre saw that. But he went back to a frown and began to head to the car.

 

"I'll have all the calls made, your team will be here tomorrow, go get some rest."

 

He turned back right before he closed the door and drove off.

 

"And Mr. DeRou, if that subject we discussed does become an issue and could potentially harm you, your team, or any of us..."

 

He paused for a second.

 

"...eliminate it."
