Does KH3D have a sort of "Character Files"-like thing, akin to Jiminy's Journal in KH1&2?

I belive so, there's supose to be a memoir in the game to help people get caught up in the storyline

Most likely, I'd imagine so.

I hear they have "secret cut scenes" (though they're not really secret) that show scenes from the past, so those brand new to the series can understand what's going on, and for those who have followed the series, but are confused as to which Ansem is which, and which Xehanort is who. That's pretty nice of them. :)

That's the "Memoir" system - I'm aware of that. I'm just wondering about the Character Files, and the little option they usually have where you press triangle (as it was in KH, Re:CoM, and KH2) to make a 3D render of the character you're reading about and you can turn them around and view 'em and stuff like that. Does KH3D have some sort of variation of that?

Yeah, it was seen in one of the streams, i think, and both KH1 and KH2 Sora/Riku could be seen as models I think.

Yeah, It has that where you can see the characters.
