"Thank you sir." said Isa, being thankful for being accepted as an apprentice finally.

'You are welcome, and i am glad to have new apprentices.'

'Yeah you hear that Isa, we are now apprentices!'

"Ienzo! Ienzo! Where are you?!" Aeleus called out.

Even heard shouting, from a voice that was similar to Aeleus's. He quickly ran towards the direction of the shouting. As he neared he heard that Aeleus was shouting our Ienzo's name.

 

"What?" Even said, approaching Aeleus. "Where is Ienzo?"

"He should be walkng around Town somewhere."

"You let him slip away again!" Even shouted. "I shouldn't of trusted you."

 

Even was about to run down the steps into the town, but then realised that he my need to help with the apprentices. "Aeleus! Stop guarding the castle and find Ienzo!" Even said turning back to Aeleus. "I need to check up on things in the castle."

"You blaming me for this?! Really? Didnt Lord Ansem put you in charge of looking after Ienzo?"

Even smirked. "But I gave him to you, so that makes you in charge of him. You said yourself that you would look after him." Even said. "Now go and find Ienzo, before I tell Doctor Ansem that YOU lost him!"

" Fine, here take this. Put this earpiece on." Aeleus hands Even an earpiece. " Keep it on at all times." Aeleus went to search for the young apprentice.

'Alright, now that we are apprentices, what should we do first Isa?'

Lea and Isa walked out of the castle.

 

Ansem wa reading a documnet about the heart he had recently created, but he heard a knock on his door. 'Come in.'

'It has been awhile Ansem.'

'Indeed it has my old friend.'

"Who knows? maybe go fetch some sea salt ice cream at Scrooge's?" said Isa, saying his idea on what both he and Lea could now at the moment.

'Yeah, lets do it. I have been meaning to get some of his ice cream sooner or later.'

 

'Ansem i wanted to talk about where your reasearch was leading.'

'Hopefully down the right path, but i am concerned about the consiquences for my actions.'

Ienzo ran through many houses trying to get away from Unversed that had appeared in front of him. He didn't run because he was scared, he ran for the thrill of it.

 

Soon after passing all the houses he appeared in a giant fountain area. It wasn't much of a fountain, more just a giant water feature. Ienzo knew that he had out run the unversed but he didn't know that their could still be some more here.

 

As the boy explored the giant fountain he saw a little girl, who was about his age and him, standing in the middle of the water. The girl was holding flowers and seemed to be crying.

Lea and Isa went to Scrooges and got some Ice cream, the went over to top of the edge above the stairway. 'Hey Isa, what do you think happens next?'

 

'But Ansem, you shouldnt go and explore into these kind of things, maybe your not meant to know.'

'Perhaps, i am starting to understand that what i am doing could harm the fellow people of this town.'

'What are you going to do?'

Ansem sat in his chair. 'I am not sure yet, time will tell.'

"Who knows? i expect that we will be tired to the bone once we start work for real." said Isa, thinking of what will happen in the nearby future now that both he and Lea were apprentices to Ansem the Wise.

Ienzo wanted to approach the girl but he was also scared."Hello..." Ienzo said softly while walking up behind the girl. "My name is Ienzo."

 

The girl saw shocked and quickly turned around. Ienzo could now see that she was crying. "Hi?" the girl said while trying to wipe away tears.

 

"Are you... al right?"

The girl shock her head. "I'm fine.." she lied. "My name is Kairi."

 

Ienzo was embarrassed he didn't know what to say next. But then suddenly he felt himself thrown against the water below him. Kairi screamed and jumped backwards while Ienzo tried to get up. As Ienzo stood up he saw that unversed had pushed him over and now they were targeting Kairi...

'Probably' Lea said as he took another bite of his ice cream

One unversed jumped froward and slammed Kairi against the water while the others crowded around. "No!" Ienzo shouted while jumping forward to attack the unversed. Ienzo missed and fell over beside Kairi, who had dropped her flowers.

As Mickey left the castle Ansem was thinking about the experiments he was doing. He has completed so many, and yet he knew nothing about the heart itself. Ansem was very confused, what would his experiments lead him to?

"Xehanort!" one of the castle guards called.

"Yes. What's wrong?" he answered.

"Monsters are attacking the castle!"

"What. This is not good we must deal with it immediately."

"Well, the other's are fighting right now."

"Ok. Thanks for telling me this." Xehanort said as he ran into battle.

As he got outside he saw all of the guards battling the creatures."What are they?" he asked himself.

Two of the creatures attacked him a giant sword appeared in his hand. "What is this?" he asked as he finished defeating the two creatures.

Aeleus is walking around the town and came across a fountain. He took a closer look and notices Ienzo and an unknown girl being attacked by an Unversed. "Ienzo! Little girl! Get behind me!"

Ienzo nodded at Aeleus and grabbed Kairi's hand. They both walked behind Aeleus as he attacked the unversed.

 

"Who is that?" Kairi asked pointing at Aeleus.

"That's Aeleus. He's a guard at the castle." Ienzo answered. Ienzo was relieved that Aeleus had saved them. He thought he was done for.

Aeleus kills the Unversed with a single slice. "As for you, Ienzo. Who gave you permission to leave the castle?"

'Yikes, sounds like something is going on. Isa come on lets go check it out.'
