(Although it was never specified in FF: Incarcerated, this RP takes place in NYC. For me, at least. I'll probably leave anyway.)

Callum turned off the TV and looked at his clock. It was 2:00 A.M. He couldn't sleep ever since he learned a powerful game villain was inside him. Vanitas. Ever since Vanitas possessed him (If he did, maybe he was in there since birth, so gained influence) Callum had been a jerk. He didn't have any friends now. I hate you, Vanitas! He heard a scoff. Really? Do you? Callum summoned his keyblade. "I won't let this take me over. Vanitas, you won't win." His void gear looked ominous. Too ominous.

"Yup each one of us has that little annoying voice inside of them." Alex could feel Roxas wanted to smack him. "But anyways, I can't shake the feeling there is one more we haven't met yet."

Upon seeing James, Mariah had trouble forming words. She reached out to touch him, but stopped a few inches from his face. “I...” The memories of what she had done came flooding back vividly. She yanked her hand back, and for the first time in several months, burst into tears. “I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry!” It was all she could say, over and over again, as she hugged her arms around herself, bent forward, not unlike she had done on that awful day she had killed him.

"For what?" he asked. He got up and pulled her into a hug. "You haven't done anything wrong."

Mariah relaxed just a little in James’s strong, warm embrace. It had been a long time since she felt this safe and secure--the last time was during the first, and only, kiss she and Joy shared. No, she had to get him out of her head. Joy was gone, and she would have to accept that. But James was here. She leaned her head against his chest, and it felt good, but couldn’t stop crying. “I...I know you...asked me to, but I’ve always felt so ashamed for it! I couldn’t forgive myself, even though you told me it was what you wanted.”

"That doesn't matter now." he said. "I'm back and Sephiroth is gone." He held her close and kissed her cheek.

(Hmm, Cyrus will meet the others when the plot allows.)

 

Cyrus was prepared for a semi-normal weekend. But with Saix in his head, things tended to go wrong almost instantly. He briefly told his parents of his plans for the day. A simple walk around the neighborhood, and hanging out with the few freinds he had left.His parents gave him a small farewell, barely acknowledging Cryus's existence. Cryus resented this, as he resented most things. Befor long, he was out and walking around the local parts, only stopping to look at something some-what interesting.

 

"Cyrus. I am going to inform you of the recent events. It seems there are others like you. But if they want you with them because of me...heh."

 

"Wow Saix. It sounds like you almost care."

 

"Not in the least. But if you die, I believe I will fade along with you. But as a Nobody, it isn't different than the last time. I faded along with the Organization."

 

"Whatever." Cyrus muttered, continuing his trek.

Mariah’s tears finally began to subside, and she smiled a little when James kissed her cheek. She looked into his eyes, and this time, touched his face. “You are back. That’s all that matters,” she whispered.

Rebekah, who was just outside the room, decided now was a good time to leave. She had never heard Mariah cry before, and besides that, it sounded like she and James needed some space. She figured that James would be the one to come and get Felix when Mariah was ready to talk to him. She started making her way down to the other guys. Aqua, she thought, you were saying earlier that the boy who’s with Felix right now felt familiar. What did you mean?

 

“I thought he was one of my friends. He reminds me a lot of Ven. But he said his name was Roxas, so...”

 

Oh, that’s right! I should’ve realized. Well, I’m sorry it wasn’t Ven. Maybe we’ll run into him sometime, though!

 

“I hope we do. Wait, Rebekah!” Aqua’s voice sounded urgent again as they neared the group. Rebekah could see that there were two new boys talking to Alex and Felix, and she stopped in her tracks.

 

Are those the guys we passed? One of whom you didn’t trust?

 

“Yeah, those are them.”

 

So now that we're closer, can you tell who the Inhabiter you don't like is?

 

“I think I can. He reminds me of Ven, too, but his presence feels all wrong. Which can only mean...”

 

Vanitas, Rebekah finished.

 

“Yes. Inhabiting the boy with the black hair. He doesn't seem to be in a particularly aggressive mood right now, but just be a little careful."

 

Alright... Rebekah did her best to hide her nervousness as she approached the group. They seemed to be on the topic of Inhabiters again, but she didn’t say anything. What about the blonde boy? she asked.

 

“He’s definitely Inhabited, but I’m sure I’ve never met his Inhabiter before. He doesn’t feel familiar at all.”

He smiled and put his hand on hers. Looking into her eyes, he started to lean in, his lips inches from hers.

"I was just about to head out to catch up with a guy named Joy," Felix said smiling, he then turned around, and seeing Rebekah he continued, "Hey! Wanna come find Joy? It'll make Mariah happy!"

Mariah swallowed, and her heart raced. She began leaning in as well, but she thought of Joy again. How she had betrayed him by losing herself and kissing James right in front of him. No! He’s dead! she insisted to herself. The best I can do now is to forget him. She allowed images of Joy to leave her mind, and all she was thinking about now was James.

 

She closed her eyes, then closed the space between them, and put her lips against his. The tears came again. However, unlike the last time she had kissed him, these were not tears of sorrow, but of happiness.

Rebekah looked back up toward the door to Mariah’s apartment. “Um, are you sure that’s a good idea right now?” she asked. “I thought you wanted to talk to Mariah.” This whole thing was a mess. She didn’t know who Mariah loved more, or how Mariah would feel if she found out so soon that Joy really was alive, but it seemed like the best thing right now was not to screw things up between her and James, so Rebekah had to stall.

Calder's eyes widened. "Joy? Where did he go?" Callum looked at Calder. "The boy you were looking for, right?" Calder nodded. "So, how are we gonna find him?" Callum looked at the group. "I mean, according to these guys, Joy's gone. What are we supposed to do?"

Joy decided to make a break for it. joy darted out and grabbed his sword, and Calder saw it. "Joy!" Joy was fast. Calder tried to catch up, but couldn't. Then he saw Callum running. Callum easily caught up to Joy and tackled him. joy groaned as they both fell to the ground. Callum grinned. "So...Joy. I've heard a lot about you." Joy stood up and brushed himself off. "I came to get my sword. No other reason."

Rebekah gave an exasperated sigh as Joy reappeared then ran away again. She looked at the other guys. “Seriously, what is with him?!”

Felix was busy mulling over her puzzling question, so busy he completly missed Joy. "Well...I guess so. I might just settle my questions with Mariah, ok. So...I guess I'll just go tell James I'm not going now, and I'll leave out Joy's name," Felix said. He headed for Mariah's room, opened the door, and with his eyes closed began to speak. "Ya know James, I don't know if it's a great idea for me to...." he then opened his eyes, turned around and finished, "Never mind!"

Joy looked around. "Hmm. Strange. Seems to be other Inhabitors." He then saw Calder. "Calder!" Calder grinned. "You never could resist running away, could you?" Callum coughed. "Awkward. Now why was finding him so important?" Joy looked at him. "You don't have friends, do you? You don't know about the bond." Callum walked up to him so they were inches apart. "Do you think I asked to be like this?! This is Vanitas's fault!" Joy backed away. "Hey, man. I wasn't accusing you, just saying what is probably true. You're rude." Callum growled. "Wanna go at it, little cool boy?!" Joy nodded. "Come on. You won't last three minutes." Callum growled and summoned his keyblade. Calder looked at both of them. "You're being childish!" Callum growled again. "Quiet!" Callum charged Joy, a malicious look on his face.

(Aria and Noel)

 

Aria and Noel were exsuarted outside to the performance stage. They were backstage when Noel looked over to see all the people there. "I cant believe this turn out just for us. Its amazing." Noel said. Aria got nervous, but pumped, "I cant believe it either. Now which song should we do first?" Noel took her hand, "Whatelse." Noel said knowing which song they would open with when they got back from commerical break.

 

(Avan)

 

'So your plan is still surrounded in mystery, even from me. What are you really thinking, lad? I might be inside of you, but even I cant get into your mind.' Xehanort said. Avan smiled at him. Xehanort was out and was viewable. "I cant tell you the whole plan, but I will say your darkness creatures will be able to help me in more ways then one and then in two months we will rule the world." Avan laughed.

 

(Victoria and Paul)

 

"Sir, we got a new detail. We think that Avan is somehow hiding his castle." Agent 89 said. "You think or you know? Either way, this is getting to dangerous and too real of a fight already. But this is our fight, and so those people from last year wont be able to fight this time around." Victoria said. "Hey honey, how about we watch Aria and Noel when the show gets back on. They would want to know that we did." Paul said. "Okay, recker boy." Victoria said and kissed Paul. They then waited for the show to get back on.

Rebekah caught up with the three guys and wondered what to do when the raven-haired one started charging at Joy. Should we...help him? Not that she was excited to fight someone Inhabited by Vanitas, but she didn’t want Joy to get hurt, either.

 

She could feel Aqua rolling her eyes. “I don’t see any need at the moment. We’ll help Joy if he gets hurt too badly. Otherwise, let them be boys and rough it out until they exhaust themselves. Trust me--I lived with Ven and Terra for several years.” Though her attitude was dismissive, Aqua felt sorry for Joy's opponent. He clearly didn't agree with having Vanitas for an Inhabiter. It just showed how ruthless Vanitas was, Inhabiting an unwilling host.

(Listen...Xeveemon. You killed me with this last time. So I think I'm going to call ya out on this now. You can't visibly see your inhabiter, ever. You can be controlled by them, and they can talk through you and to you, but never beside you. EVER. I'm not being mean, I just feel like you were a bit confused about this. That is all.)

(my point exactly. there called an Inhabitor for a reason. You can't see them. Their body nor spirit can ever leave your body. They are attached to you for life, or until you die.)

 

Joy easily deflected Callum's weak attack. Callum slammed into the ground. Joy looked down. "How can you use anger, but not use it to attack me correctly?" Callum growled, and jumped up, cutting Joy across the chest. It didn't cut his skin, but it hurt a lot. Joy smiled. "Play time is over kid." He then charged, swiping his sword so fast it was dizzying Callum. Next thing he knew, Callum was smashed into a wall, defeated. Callum stood. "I'm not done...yet." Darkness surrounded him as Vanitas's armor appeared on him. He heard Vanitas's voice. Yeah! Kick his sorry behind!

(Oh, well. I was kinda confuse on this whole thing so dont go yelling at me now okay. I thought we could see a sprite form of our inhabitor, but I wasnt actually sure ever. So I am so sorry about this, and I would like to thank you all for tell me, and letting me do weird things like Today, and stuff. I will now make a note of this whole thing. And yes, I plan on being a villian in this, and might be the first villian that is new.)

James deepened the kiss, pulling her into a hug. He knew it was bad to do this when he knew Joy was alive, but he loved Mariah and wanted to be with her. He was startled when Felix burst in and pulled away, blushing.

Scott got off his plane in New York City. "Welcome to the city that never sleeps. It's sooo...inhabited....makes me sick," Scott whispered.

 

"Yes, yes. Thats amazing, but why are we here?" Marluxia asked.

 

"You seem to forget Marluxia. This is where it all started, and this is where it is beginning again. Haven't you noticed?" Scott asked.

 

"Ah, so you're here to....finish what Caius and Cain started," Marluxia stated.

 

"Of course. These fools will not escape me, or defeat me as they did Master Cain," Scott answered.

 

 

 

"You guys done back there? I'd say I hope I'm not intruding, but I am. I feel bad about it, but I have questions. Questions that really need to be answered," Felix said.

“Not good...” Aqua said. “I’ll handle this, Rebekah.” She took over Rebekah’s body and summoned her Keyblade. “Vanitas! Stop!” she demanded.

Mariah looked in the direction Felix’s voice was coming from, then back at James. “Um, yeah, you can come in,” she said, keeping her eyes on James.

James sat beside her and looked at him. Putting his arm around Mariah, he listened to what he had to say. He hoped he didn't say anything about Joy being alive.

Felix turned around and sat in a chair near Mariah, looked right at her, and said, "I need to know everything that happened last year. Starting with New York." He was a bit embarassed before, but now was time for buisness.
