For once, I've decided instead of stalking everyone else's theories and disagreeing with them (lol, whoops.."^^), I'll post up one of my own. ^^
and at the moment I'm extremely hyper right now and a tad bit tipsy, so...."^^
So I was thinking about Master Xehanort a bit (because I like creepy hunched over old men? )
Master Xehanort is shown primarily as the main antagonist in BBS.
But I don't think he's actually evil!
D:
Master Xehanort is shown as a good guy in the beginning (obviously, as he observes Aqua and Terra's progression in...keyblader training...lol...), and he's clearly very knowledgeable on the subject of Keyblades, Kingdom Hearts, Light, Darkness, other important factors to the story...
Anyways, from what I've gathered from the released trailers...
Master X is curious about Light and Darkness, wondering what will become of the worlds should the balance between Light and Dark are broken.
Then comes along Vanitas, whom I assume at the beginning of the game, Master X sees as a threat to the balance, hence he says Vanitas must be destroyed.
Now, in KH1 we found out the meddling in other worlds was a BAD thing, (yet Sora and company did so anyway....."^^) as it disrupts the peace. But since BBS is 10 years before KH1, wouldn't that make TAV the first official world meddlers?
And because of their meddling, Maleficent began her roundup or whatever of the Princesses, thus proving the negative side effects of meddling and leading to the downfall of Radiant Garden.
Maybe Master X sensed the change in the balance? Somehow?
So then instead of seeing Vanitas as the threat, TAV become more apparent...and Master X picks on Terra more because he's the one slowly turning to the darkness.
Bleh. Sorry if that's a little scattered and makes little sense, my mind is a little...sluggish right now. "^^
But basically, I have a feeling Master Xehanort might not actually be evil...just appears to be evil....But he cares about the balance! Yay balance!
