The Kingdom Hearts Ultima Nitpicker's Thread

Posted

A thread for pedantic people beyond all reason.

I'll start.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Great game, right?

WRONG.

Observe, case 1

Note Sora running in Castle Oblivion. The setting of Chain of Memories.

Now, observe case 2. Sora as he appeared in Chain of Memories

Note the running animation (The ones where his legs move)

when Sora runs in Chain of Memories, the keyblade disappears. But in case 1, it clearly does not. How such a glaring continuity error can be made on Square's part baffles me.

Now, they retconned this with the release of CoM, making Sora always carry his keyblade in battle (Apparently Square is too cheap to redo ONE scene in the KH2 opening) however, they couldn't even get that right. In battle, when Sora runs he carries his keyblade over his shoulder, like he did in KH1. As you can clearly see, Sora lets he keyblade swing freely despite the presence of heartless.

And that, my friends, is why Chain of Memories is the worst game in the series.

What really agrivated me was the 2 videos of the exact same thing . And that is what makes this the worst thread ever.

The two videos have different preset times.

Because they reference two parts of the same video.

If it bothers you that much, you could always just watch one video.

Well thats debatable.
