OK should i get the god of war HD REMAKE of 1 & 2 and then play the 3rd one? and is the god of war series really good?

I recently got the HD remakes. Have to say, it's very hit or miss. It's a very solid game, and the story is... decent. God of War II is pretty nice, actually. It comes down to what you're looking for in a game, if the excessive gore doesn't bother you (I don't see why it should, it looks pretty ridiculous) then it's a very solid action game... but it's nothing more. They're also kind of short, but you're paying 15 dollars each for them so it's probably worth it.

Just don't go into it expecting Kingdom Hearts. There are no expansive cutscenes, not much voice acting, and despite some comparisons you might have heard, it doesn't play at all like KH.

Honestly, you can probably track down the PS2 originals for under 10 bucks total. As long as you don't mind the loss of achievements.

Oh, and a warning about the third game, the jumping is kind of glitchy for some reason.

I've heard that Dante's Inferno is a much better buy than GoW 3 at least, not sure how it stacks to the first two GoWs (GoW 3 is considered by some to be the worst of the three)
