church was led face down on his desk with his earphones on.he was surrounded in school work.church had been doing so much work it bore him so much,he actually fell asleep.church woke up and looked over at his alarm clock."only 2:00 am, huh? time to make some noise" he said with a smile as he plugged in his guitar and being strumming loudly.he was playing so loud infact that one of the neighbours of his apartment called the cops for disturbing the peace. as the cops loaded him in the back of the car you could only hear him saying one thing."speak up,i can't hear you!" says one of the officers.church turns and gave him a smile."i said,it was totally worth it!"

"yeah, the sun is shining and it's a nice day. We should enjoy it while it lasts." church said to them both. "Vienna,don't be so shy!" church laughed. "we're all friends here. We can do what we want! So anyway, you guys wanna come back to my place,hell, you could even stay the night if you want!" church looked at Allen. He smirked at him because of his look before. Church slowly mouthed to Allen "sneaky sneaky" while Vienna wasn't looking.

"Heh, sorry." Vienna murmured, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, it is nice outside. I've nothing planned, so why not?" she said, the mild weather making her feel refreshed.

Allen looked at them both. "I am game as well" Allen then caught the look and gave church a smirk and a grin that said "well you know how it is"

"well that settles it then!" church says happily. "you see, i live alone so i don't mind friends coming over but my main problem is getting people to be my friends."church explained. "ok so is there anything you need to get done before we leave? if not, we can leave as soon as you guys already. you better get some clothes or something if you were to stay over and vienna,don't worry,i have two rooms.me and allen could take one room and you could get one all to yourself unless you wanna snuggle?" church said playfully.he laughed and looked up it's getting dark he thought.

patty heard what church had said from her seat on the bench.that guy most be in love with the girl she thought playing a short happy tune.patty got up and walked over the where they were standing.i know this isn't my concern and i don't know them but still i should start making friends at the school she thought.patty smiled weakly as she reached where they were standing.uh hello sir i never got to thank you for earlyer when you found my journal so uh i guess thank you she said.

"Ah, no thanks. I think I'll take the extra room." Vienna replied. "I'm ready to just go now." she added, with a slight shrug.

"well,uh, I just found it and made sure no one took it and stop calling me sir. My name is church" he said looking at the mystery girl.church turned back to Vienna and laughed "looks like I'll have to snuggle with you, Allen" he joked happily. "so al,you ready to go?"

patty sighed.oh it's that guy i've heard rumors about him she thought walking off.she grabed her guitar and walked home.can't wait to get home and go to sleep she said.patty played a few notes on the guitar and sighed.why must a i be so freaking personal she thought.

Allen laughed at the joke. He then grabbed his back pack which always had extra clothes ready to run away if need be. "Yeah I'm ready lets go" Allen said looking back at the school. He was mainly looking through the school which was only a mile from his house.

"alright then guys, follow me." church began walking down the path and made a right turn. He went up a flight up stairs. "it isn't much but it's home" church said to them. Church put his coat on a handle by the door and walked over to his bed. He put his bag down and looked at the others. "this will be mine and allen's room then. Vienna,your rooms just in that door" church whispered as he pointed at a door near the window. "can I ask you something? Why is it that you'd rather come with me then go home? If you don't mind." church asked uncertainly.

Allen let out a sigh "My dad.... He's a d**k" Allen said followed with another sigh. He then went to a corner of the room and dropped his stuff in the floor. "Maybe I'll tell you later on, its not something I like to talk about." Allen said as he looked around the room

"don't sweat it dude,you can stay here as long as you like"church said reassuringly. He stood up and went to the bathroom. He locker the door behind him and started washing his face with water. After drying off, church looked up from the sink and into the mirror. "mom,dad. I miss you" church whispered. "I should try and have a good time." church left the bathroom and shouted to everyone "what do you want for dinner cause, I feel like take away.its all on me!"

Vienna tossed her bag onto the bed, then poked her head out the door. "Take away is good with me." she replied.

"Take away is good with me to but I'm not going to let you pay for me, i just was raised by my mom to pay for myself I have a fear of being a burden" Allen said as he pulled some money out of his wallet and handed it to him some cash

"fair enough then" church pulled out his phone and dialed the shops number. He whispers into the mic to what everyone wants. Church hangs up and casually puts down his phone. "it's going to be delivered." church explained. "hey al,let's start a band" church whispered just in case it sounded stupid.

Allen laughed at the random question. "Sure I'm game but you must know I only play keyboard and sing" Allen said as he then look to Vienna "What about Vienna she can play keyboard and sing aswell" He then directed his attention to her. "I think it'd be really cool to have a band with male and female vocals for all their songs, plus I've been wanting to duet with you since I heard you sing today" Allen said shyly looking at the ground

Vienna flushed a little. "Really? Thanks." she smiled a little. "Well yeah, like Allen said, I sing and play the keyboard. Maybe we should form a band." Now that I think about it, it's starting to sound like a good idea.

Allen looked up and smiled "You are probably a better pianist so how bout she can play and then her and I can still sing which would give us an edge since not many other bands have both. Be sides a couple country artist." Allen said noticing she was blushing a bit (I assume thats what flushed means lol) he couldn't stop thinking about the band it was going to be fun

"Vienna, could you tell me something about yourself? I don't know much about you and you look like an interesting person to get to know" church said looking at her with a calm and gentle smile. He may have appeared calm and chilled on the outside but inside,his mind was on fire. Memories and pains flowed into him as if he had been holding it all back. A tear dropped from his eye. "oh?" he whispered to himself. He looks up at the other two "my real name is jack. Jack Churchill. It's a pleasure to meet you." he gestures his hand forward to Vienna with wide,blue eyes. He gives a smile that truly shows who Is. A boy with no friends who's searching for someone he can rely on. "I feel so calm with you guys." he whispered ever so quietly.

"Well, my name is Vienna Alyana, my mom is a violinist and my dad is usually away on buisness trips. I've been taking piano lessons since I was 6, and my whole family loves Billy Joel, and my mom desperately wants me to be a classical pianist, but honestly, Bach and Mozart really aren't my thing." Vienna stopped a moment to take a breath, and smiled. "So yeah, thats my whole lifestory, basically."

"sounds intresting." church said coolly. "I grew up in Ohio before coming here. It was a total bore but when I was around fourteen,I met this girl and....." church's voice trailed off. Tears dripped down his face. "I'm sorry, it's just... She died in a horrible accident. She was hit by Car when someone tore the brakes out of it." church slammed his fist on his bed. "I was the one who told her to go home. I feel so...." church's face was bright red. "one second please" church stood up

And walked to the bathroom. Locking the door behind him. He looked into the mirror,long and hard and came to only one thought. "it's your fault she's dead!" he screams. He looks at the ground and feels woozy. He manages to sit down before passing out.

Allen stood up and felt sorry for Church

 

Allen opened the door seeing him sitting on the ground. Allen let out a sigh and looked ahead. "It's not your fault... My mom died too... She was caught in a drive by, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time... You can't blame yourself for something you couldn't have stopped, it was destined to happen for something else to happen in the end. My dad blames me for my moms death" Allen said as he lifted his sleeve up and showed off his cigerette burns

 

"this is why I don't go home and why I have clothes already in my bag" Allen said

Church looked up at Allen. His voice had awoken him. "it doesn't feel good,does it? Losing someone." church stood up and brushed himself off. He wiped his eyes and put on a smile. "what's with the doom and gloom. I think it's time to play some tunes!" church ran past Allen and up to his bookcase. "I'm going to let you guys in on a secret. Pull the book that says "lilo" and a passage opens up" church did exactly as he said and the bookcase revealed a room with a piano,keyboards,guitars,microphones and all the instruments you could want. Church walked over to his cherry red electric cruiser and started playing. "you really should try these out,y'know." just after church finished his sentance,the door bell rang. "dinner!" he shouts sprinting down the hallway,picking up his wallet and heading for the door.

Allen laughed as he set up two keyboards with two mics in front of each for him and Vienna and let Vienna get first pic of pianos. Allen then walked down to Church to help him bring up the food

Vienna blinked in surprise. One minute they were talking, and then he was telling him about his mom, and now he has a music store in his bookshelf. She rubbed her temples. "My head is spinning." she mumbled. Vienna followed the boys to get some food, noticing she felt a little empty.
