In this world, lies four kingdoms. They are ruled by their kings. The four kingdoms did not use to exist. In the center off all four, lies the ruins of the center kingdom. There layed the kingdom of Technology. A kingdom based and lived on technology. One night, the king's four sons, who are now the kings of the other kingdoms. Lead an attack with their small army and defeated their powerful father and destroyed the kingdom along with technology. Now, many years later, the four kingdoms live in peace and harmony, but for what they don't know, is that a band of suriviors have gathered together with the remains of technology to destroy all four kingdoms. Now, the kingdoms have to band together once more, to destroy technology, or they will be wiped out one by one by technology.

Noah was walking in the forest as he saw two people.' By those clothing, they must be from the east kingdom.' thought Noah as he walked up to them.'' Guessing I'm not the only one heading to the North. The North kingdom is up ahead, but I heard getting up those mountains is pretty tough. We should head off together. The name is Noah Kujo. I'm from the South Kingdom.'' Noah said as he grabbed his hilt. He sensed something.'' Strange. I feel a presence I felt before, but I can't put my finger on it. I have a feeling we're being watch. I say we start heading off.'' Noah said as he grabbed a stick and made a fire and put fire on the stick.'' Let's head off together.'' Noah said as he started walk ahead hearing the other two follow.'' Besides, I never got ya's names.'' Noah said.

Alexia looked over at Duo. She smiled and noded. "Yes actually. I'm heading towards the North Kingdom,and I'm kind of bad in readhing maps."Alexia says with a slight anime sweatdrop. She rested her staff down and showed Duo the map. "We should be right here...I think..."Alexia says. She then saw anotehr boy walk up and introduce himself. He said his name was Noah,and he pointed out that the North Kingdom was directly towards one of the specific roads ahead. He talked and explained without stopping on his tracks,also mentioning he sensed a strange presence of what seemed to be another person. Alexia looked around a bit freaked out. "You can sense that?! But,I don't see anyone."Alexia says. She then looked up at Nuah who continued to walk. "Wait!"Alexia says as she took a step foward and looked back at Duo smiling. "He seems in quite a hurry. I'm Alexia by the way. Nice to meet you."Alexia says towards Duo. She then looked back upfront. "you know,waiting for us would be nice!"Alexia says as she hurried her pace a bit but then stopped and looked at Duo. "His idea seems like a good one. If we're all heading towards the same direction,maybe we could go as a team."Alexia says. She had just met these two. But she felt like trusting them already.

Sync sighed with relief, slowly sliding down the tree trunk. The others were leaving. He sat up, brushing the dirt and leaves of off him. He grabbed his pack of which he had dropped, and procedded down the same road as the others did. Sync had presumed they were heading to the same tournament, mainly due to the fact they were of different Kingdoms.

 

One of them. I don't know...but he he seems to know I'm here. Sync thought, trying to stay far behind the others to not appear as a stalker, but close enough to keep track of which roads to take for the tournament.

" My names Duo," he said, introducing himself. As he and Alexia caught up with Noah, a loud hiss sounded from his back, startling his new companions, "Sorry, you guys haven't met Balis," Duo said, as Balis stuck his head from Duo's collar, "I know, I know, you don't like the rain," he told the large lizard, "Balis is my familiar," He told them.

 

He then turned to Alexia, "You look like your from the East Kingdom, is that correct?"

Alexia noded. "Yeah. I am. Been studying under the elder's teachings. But after so much. I thought maybe visiting the world would help me get stronger and better with my abilities. So I ran off,and now I'm here."Alexia says. She held her staff. Without their magical weapon or magical item,some from the East Kingdom would feel useless,or atleast unprotected. That's how Alexia felt without her staff around,which was rare times when it wasn't. Alexia looked over at Duo. "You look to be from the East Kingdom as well. But I haven't seen ya around. But of course,the East Kingdom is pretty big,and you could always be from somewhere else,I'm just guessing as all."Alexia says a bit nervous. She then got closer a bit and stared. "A Familiar huh?You don't see those around very often.."Alexia mutters. She got a bit closer. "Does he bite?Can I pet him?"Alexia asks a bit curious.

"Of course, he'll show it if he doesn't like you, and he seems okay at the moment, even given the rain, he doesn't like the cold," He told her. As Alexia pet Balis on the head, Duo for her of his travels, "I'm from the East Kingdom yes, but I've traveled for quite some time. Over the years, I've learned from many different teachers, perhaps I could teach you a thing or two?" Duo offered. He wasn't exactly the teacher type, but one of his masters did tell him they he had the skill and knowledge to become one.

Noah and the others kept walking until they felt cold in the air.'' I know I'm not the only one feeling this cold air.'' Noah said as they looked and saw several mountains and snow in the air.'' Well, I guess were here. We just got to climb the mountains.'' Noah said as he got a scraf out of his bag and put it around his neck and mouth as he started to climb. He kept climbing until he heard some noise. He looked up and saw big pile of snow coming down.'' Imcoming!'' yelled Noah as he grabbed Alexia and Duo and they swung into a cave. Noah looked up and saw someone standing in front of them in North gear.'' Damn. I should of know it was you.'' Noah said as the person took off their helmet and scraf showing a girl.'' Zeta.''

Appearance: She has long white hair, North gear on her, green eyes, and she always her weapons on her.

Alexia looked at Duo and clapped her hands together. "Oh that would be lovely! I'd love to!"Alexia says. She then started to climb up with Noah and Duo. Alexia shook. "I-I-I don't like this kind of c-c-cold."Alexia says shaking. Suddenly snow came falling down and Noah grabbed her and Duo and got them into a cave. Then they saw someone,a girl appear and take off her helmet. "Zeta."Noah says. Alexia stared and looked back at the girl. "I guess you two k-k-know eachother."Alexia says shaking still. She was used to warmth of the sunlight. She had heard that the North was cold. But she never thought it would be this cold,or cloudy. This only made her feel a bit weaker,since her power was of light. She shook and looked at the two. "So I see you two know eachother. That's good. I guess."Alexia says as she held onto her staff and shook.

Duo smiled as Alexia accepted his offer. As the weather turned colder, Balis retreated into his master's coat. Alexia was complaining about the cold when Noah had grabbed them both and pulled them into a cave. Duo was about to ask what was going on when he saw the piles of falling snow, "That was a close one," Duo said, just before noticing that there was another person on the cave. She wore garb of the North Kingdom, Noah had called her Zeta. "So who's this? Noah, you seem like you know her,"

Sync barely missed the wave of snow himself. He deftly dived away, barely missing the avalanche itself. Sync quickly lent against a rock, shivering. The cloak Sync wore was made to withstand cold and heat, but the engineers that made it didn't think about this. Sync coughed, hearing voices inside a cave not to far from where he stood.

 

Sync peered inside, seeing the three he had been following, and some new girl. Sync noticed tension within the room. With a hiss, Sync magically held a spear in one hand.

Balis hissed and climbed down from Duo's back. Balis crawled towards the entrance of the cave and turned to face his master. Duo's attitude became more serious, Balis had a great sense of smell, Duo thought he was trying to tell them something.

 

Duo didn't know for sure if anyone or anything for that matter was out there, but Balis rarely ever wrong with things like this. "Who ever's out there, I hope you know that eavesdropping is quite rude," Duo called out to the one outside the cave, and with that, he snapped his fingers, making a large lightning bolt strike in front of the cave. Duo wasn't trying to hit the person, just let him know that he shouldn't be sneaking around.

"Oh crap!" Sync yelled, throwing himself backwards to miss the lightning. Unfortunately, this also accidently released his charged up ball of flame, which melted a large radius of snow not too far away.

 

Sync stumbeled up, ensuring his visor was still on. He trudged over to the cave, now certain they knew he as there. With a sigh, Sync entered the cave. He looked at the three, simply standing there.

 

"...Next time...I'd rather not get shot with lightning."

Alexia stared as she shooks lightly. It was so cold she could see her breath! Alexia stared and crossed her arms slightly,holding her staff still. "Like Duo said,eavesdropping is r-r-rude!"Alexia says as she kept her arms crossed. She then smiled slightly. "I-If you wanted to join in the group,you c-could of just asked."Alexia says with a slight chuckle. She was always confident with new people. She was simply raised this way. Everyone had the benefit of doubt until it was proved how the person truely was. Alexia walked over to the boy and stood infront of him. "My name is Alexia,I come from the East Kingdom. These are Duo,Noah,and this girl,who's name appearently is Zeta,according to Noah."Alexia says. She turned to the boy. "May we know your name?"Alexia asks.

Sync smirked, a rare emotion people could see, since his mouth was not always covered by his long visor.

 

"You may call me...Sync." Sync said, not bothering to mention what Kingdom he came from.

 

"And can I presume it was this Duo kid that did a trick shot with that lightning? Not bad." Sync was quite proud of himself so far, he was not good at meeting new people, especially four at once when three were most certainly suspicous of him. But when Alexia stepped up to Sync, he stepped back.

 

"S-Sorry. Not good at meeting others. Unlike you." Sync tried to keep the mysterious act up, but it wasn't working too well.

Noah and Zeta stared at everyone.'' Alright. Now that we know each other, I was trying to alert ya. Ya were climbing the mountain that can kill. The kingdom may be on top, but we'll be here until morning.'' Zeta said as she made a fire.'' If you want to be warm. Then gather around.'' Zeta said as she sat down and Noah sat down.'' Didn't think I'll see my cousin here.'' Noah said.'' Well, to bad. I'm here. I'm also entering the tourney. Alright, the signing up begins tomorrow, so we'll be leaving at dawn.'' Zeta said as she started cooking some fish.'' Got these before coming here. There's five of us and five of these fish so everyone gets one.'' Zeta said.'' So, anyone has stories?'' Noah asked.

Balid hissed at Sync, the familiar didn't like this person. "It was just a warning shot, I wasn't aiming for anything in particular, sorry if I almost got you," Duo said unmovingly. Duo trusted his familiar's instinct, and just as Balis didn't trust this guy, neither did Duo.

 

"That quite the mask you have, do you mind if I ask what kingdom your from?" Duo asked as Balis hissed one last time before climbing back into his master's coat.

Sync sat down, slightly suspicious at the hospitality given to him. But Sync was not one to judge, and welcomed the warmth that his prototype cloak had failed to give. He turned to Duo when he spoke.

 

"Not surprised. Never liked lizards -No offence to your familiar- but the creep me out." Sync made a small chuckle, but froze when Duo asked about his Kingdom. Sync sighed.

 

"I'd prefer not to talk about it. And the visor....I don't remember why I keep it on. I just do. Maybe seeing my real face just brings to many memories back....many I don't wish to experience again. But I've spoken enough." Sync finished, delighted by the prospect of cooking fish. Such a treat was hard to come by in the famine stricken Central Kingdom.

Aleixa satted down and smiled at the warmth of the fire. Alexia stared at Sync and heard what he had to say. Duo's familiar didn't seem to like him as much. Alexia kept her suspicions to herself and just held her staff. She slightly drew a symbol on the ground. She wondered inside her mind. "Well this is pretty strange yet somehow fun. Two from the East. One from South,another from North. This is very interesting."Alexia says. She finished drawing the symbol and it glew yellow. Alexia stared as she stabbed the staff down and some yellow crystals started to float around them. "Might as well do something if we're stuck."Alexia says as the crystals tehn started tor eflect some light and some little yellow holograms of horses and different mini stature animals started to appear aorund them.

Duo ripped a generous half from his fish and held it up for Balis to take, who happily snatched it from his hands. After Duo ate the rest if his fish, he stood up and turned to Alexia, "Well if we're not going anywhere until tomorrow, how's about I help you with your magic?" He walked over to a clear part of the cave so whatever magic was made wouldn't hurt anyone.

 

Duo was playing around with his fingers to make sparks as he walked, Balis poked his head from the coat, "Balis, keep an eye on Sync, but be quiet," he whispered. No one was looking, so no one noticed how Balis's scales seemed to flip around, allowing the lizard to change color, blending into the surroundings.

As Alexia and Duo trained, Sync silently sat against one of the cave's walls, oblivious to Balis watching him. Sync mainly fiddeled with his armlet, the one that allowed him to use the element of Fire. The armlet was specially made, and was enhanced to fuse and only work for Sync. As Sync absent mindedly toyed with it, it occasionally spewed a small amount of fire. Nothing too noticeable, but Balis must have certainly seen it.

 

Sync looked over to Alexia and Duo. He was interested in the magical artes, a topic he enjoyed. But for living in the Central Kingdom, finding a book on it was difficult. Even more so was the fact Sync doubted he could even utilize magic. Those that lived in the Central Kingdom never bothered, as Tech was the way to live. A lifestyle Sync hated. Sync preferred the other Kingdoms over the Technology.

 

Sync sighed, knowing he was an example of the ignorance of the Central. His cloak, his visor, his armlets, they all screamed technology. Or did they? Sync, no matter how many times he tried, could never figure out how exactly an accesory could create flame, or create weapons out of thin air.

 

Sync continued to think, but very quickly began to nod off.

Noah rested against the wall and closed his eyes as he fell asleep. Zeta smiled a bit and sat next to Sync.'' You may fool everyone, but not me. Your from the remains on the Central Kingdom.'' Zeta said as she took a bite out of her fish.'' Just be careful. The North will kill you if your tech is shown. That's why you put on this gear.'' Zeta said as she handed him a bag.'' You'll be fine if you have this.'' Zeta said as she stood up and messed with the fire and fell asleep on the ground. Noah layed against the wall as he moved it a bit

 

He slowly opened his eyes as he was in an arena. He looked around and tried to move but couldn't. He then tried to speak, but couldn't. He stared as there was a shadow figure in front of him.'' Beware of the being from the center and woman from the north.'' the figure said as it moved it's hand and Noah was blow away. He opened his eyes as it was still dark. Zeta and Sync asleep and Duo and Alexia praicing magic. He closed his eyes once more and fell asleep.

Alexia stared and blinked. She thought for a while. "That's be great."Alexia says. She stood up and the crystal images dissapeared. She walked over to Duo and then stared. "My magic element is light. I know some healing magic too. But I've never been good with any much other type of magic. They just never seem to get along. But if you can teach me something new. I'd be so grateful."Alexia says as she gave a small bow and then helded her staff smiling. All of her practices had given her the basics of it. But when it came to other elements,she'd always find a fault in them,and she could never be able to mster them. Maybe this was her chance! Maybe now she could learn something new or two. She then looked up and turned to the side and stared. "I hope we don't wake them up by accident. They will need rest."Alexia says,worrying and about.

Sync looked to Zeta, whom had awakened him. He looked inside the bag, then back to Zeta.

 

"Come prepared, don't you? And...how did you know? About where I come from? And besides....I am not removing the visor. I have not done so for...a very long time."

 

Sync sighed. It was true. The day that his world ended. Since then, Sync was ordered never to take the visor off. It was a reminder of....something. That Sync didn't know. What was so important that even the king didn't want him to see his face?

 

Sync's fist clenched. He gasped for air. Sync had suffered from some sort of mental illness. The King's own physician named it 'amnesia'. Appearently, a certain event erased some of Sync's early memories. The memory that surfaced, was horrible. Sync began to shiver.

"Light magic huh? I'm trained in Lightning magic myself, that and using familiar magic to amplify the lightning that I can make," Duo told her as he thought of what he should do as a teacher, "Well, you said you wanted to better your abilities, what kind of stuff can you do? Maybe then I can give you some pointers,"

Alexia thinks. "I can crystalize shards and use them for attacks or as an advantedge to get to high places or cross places. I can sent light beams. I also know healing magic. That's most of it."Alexia says. She smiled. "I think its better if I show you."Alexia says. She tapped her staff and rose it a bit. She waved it a bit and yellow sharp crystals appeared around. Alexia waved her staff again and the crystals stabbed down into the snow before dissapearing. Alexia then tapped teh staff down and sharp crystal edges appeared on the sides. "These are Attack Crystalization."Alexia says. She then made them dissapear. Alexia rose her staff and made a crystal square appear infront of them,floating in the air. "This is Common Crystalization. But its kind of weak."Alexia says. She stepped on it and it quickly shattered,as she landed on her feet. "See?"Alexia says. She then looked up. "Then there's beams. But it'd be to dangerou. Light causes heat,and heat can turn this place into a giant pool."Alexia says.
