When Riku defeated Nightmare Keyblade Armor it seems he's using the Kingdom Key. While he is waking up to return to the real world he summons the Kingdom Key Keyblade as if its his own. Maybe Riku has proven himself worthy to wield the Kingdom Key just as he was worthy to become a Keyblade Master. I guess what I'm saying is that will Riku use the Kingdom Key Keyblade as his Keyblade? Since after he wakes about it didn't show if he still use Way to Dawn or Kingdom Key. Maybe it will show in Kingdom Hearts III.

 

While Sora can still wield it. Maybe its because it think Sora is also worthy along with Riku and that people can wield the same type of Keyblade its not proven but its not disprove either.

well i can see what you are saying with Xion/ Roxas i cant agree about Lea Im extremely biased on that .. Plus at least Lea adds a lot to the series IMHO

 

Hahaha, yeah i understand that. i do admit lea has made the games worthwhile lol. tbh hes alot more important that roxas/xion now. I WANTED lea back...just wish he could have had to struggle or something to get back, other than just poping up going. I AM BACK WOOHOO! which i totally see him doing that....

Part of the reason i love Axel/Lea is bc he HAS struggled . Hes lost everyone who is important to him no matter how hard he tried . He gave his life to save his best friend ,lost his childhood bestie and was robbed of a decade of his life without a heart . It seems quite sad . i think hes earned his heart and life back.

Well, I don't think Riku has taken the Kingdom Key as his own, due to the fact that Sora was seen summoning it after he woke up when he went to Traverse Town and all those dream eaters showed up. And wasn't Aqua shown summoning Master Eraqus' keyblade in the realm of darkness, so this isn't the first time a character has been shown summoning another character's keyblade. I also don't think that any one keyblade is more special than another. Plus I think Way to the Dawn just suits Riku more than the Kingdom Key does, even though he was originally meant to weild it.

And remember, Riku summoned the Destiny's Embrace in KHII. Some people assume it's in the same way Sora got the Kingdom Key in the start KH.
