Charmed Forever (continuation of charmed again)

Posted

This is a direct continuation of my previous RP, called "Charmed Again" if you are confused about any references, which I will do my best to explain, this is the link to the previos rp:

http://kh13.com/forum/topic/24797-charmed-again/

In 2012, the world is filled with many magical creatures, like Witches (both male and female), Demons, werewolves, vampires etc. The King family, whose original name were the Haliwells, now have three siblings, who are called "The charmed ones." their collective power is greater than no other, that is when they aren't fighting like regular siblings do. After working together and using a spell and potion to vanquish a demon named Xiev who murdered their grandmother, their bond has been reunited, thus enacting them as the charmed ones. While trying their best to live normal lives, they are always plagued with misilaneous creatures and demons, trying to either destroy the charmed ones, turning them evil, binding their powers by turning them against each other (You know, the usual) Will they live their lives comfortably, or will their downfall come swiftly and quickly?

Rules:

•cussing is allowed

I already have a character that's one of the charmed ones and if the person who played the other two siblings (rikunobodyxiii) still wants to do ONE of them, he automatically gets that part and there will be one more sibling character available. However, if he's not up for that, then there are two sibling positions. And not to mention, you can be other things, like other good witches, evil witches, demons etc. theses are only a few descriptions:

Good witches/Charmed ones: these are witches who use their powers for good. They don't usually use their magic for personal gain, as the magic usually has a way of backfiring. Their powers consist of spellcasting (spells that rhyme usually), potion making, scrying (the power to find the location of someone/something using a crystal, map, and a personal belonging of that person/thing) which they use to vanquish evil and help people out, although some would rather renounce their powers and avoid magic altogether. Witches also hae a unique power (telekinesis, teleporting, etc.)

Evil witches: basically the opposite of good witches, their usual goal is to bring chaos to the world, or fufill their own personal desires.

Book of shadows: Most families of witches, good or evil, have a family made book called the book of shadows, which contains pre-recorded spells, potion recipes, creature information/vanquishing information. The book of shadows are protected from the opposite alignment (evil book of shadows magically protected from good, and good books repelled from evil beings) and unless willingly destroyed by a family member of the owners of that book of shadows, virtually indestructible

Whitelighter: Guardians of good witches and future whitelighters, they help in anyway they can to guide their charges in the right direction. Their powers are Orbing (teleporting by means of turning their atoms into weightless balls of light) and healing, as well as the ability to speak the language of their charge.

Darklighters: they do the complete opposite of whitelighters, guiding evil witches and are bounty hunters killing whitelighters with the only weapon that can, a crossbow with an arrow tipped with a special poison. They also orb (with dark light)

Demons: set up by classes, demons can range from weak and feeble to strong and intimidating, varying in shape and size. They all have different varying powers, and have an organized order in the underworld, although most have their own intentions and desires.

Because I've listed a lot, I don't expect you to read all of the character descriptions, but do read the ones your interested in.

Age:15

Species: witch (charmed one)

Powers: other than basic witch powers, he has molecular immobilization and a recently discovered power molecular combustion

Alignment: good

Appearance: Posted Image

Bio: Recently finding out he's a witch, and a charmed one at that, not to mention coping with his guardian's death who was his grandmother, he is desperately trying to adjust. He occasionally practices his magic, which he still needs to work out the kinks, and when an evil creature becomes a problem, works together with his two siblings to vanquish it. He is also desperately trying to find out what his mother's whereabouts are. He likes to use his families previous last name, Haliwell, more than the recent last name King. He occasionally gets into fights with his siblings, although being the youngest of the three, usually loses them.

Grace had recognized this name, and felt a little foolish coming here without any background information.

She spoke again. "Well, I'm sorry to inform you, but well, magic isn't well known around here that much anymore. We have beings who can cover this up, but The Cleaners aren't going to be happy having to cover something like this up, it's too much work for them. So I speak in everyone's interest when I say that you should leave now, before this gets messy." She began to clench her fists, ready for anything.

"Oh, this'll get messy alright, but the mess will be your remains." said Draco as he redied for a fight. At this point, Dread had already found out about Dragor and went back to the underwold to inform his master. "Ladies first." said Dragor as he used the 'Let's do this' signal.

Grace grabbed an athame that she kept in her boots and orbed behind Dragor. She then quickly threw the athame at Dragor. "Try to dodge that Dragor!"

"Gladly." said Dragor. He used his chi energy to deflect the athame, but just as he was about to charge, an enery field came between him and Grace. Dread and 'Master' were soon seen standing beside Dragor.

"Is this a private party, or can other deamons join the fun?" asked Dread.

'Master' didn't say anything, he just stood there with his weapons in hand, ready for a confrontation should the fight begin.

Susan and Verge exchanged looks. Both held worried expressions. After a moment, Verge nodded and followed after Sean.

Susan stared into space.

"Can't say I blame him for wanting normal." She said quietly.

"Normal's all in the mind." Maradon replied, taking a seat in one of the chairs. "This stuff would still be happening, even if you all weren't magical. At least you can do something about it."

Susan took in a deep breath, then nodded.

"I know. Still..."

Her phone beeped. Her alarm to go to work.

"I'd better get going." She said, getting up.

She grabbed her purse and headed out the door.

{Maradon}

Maradon slumped back in the chair. She had grown to love all the Kings in one away or another over the year, though they could get awfully moody at times. She got up to start cleaning up from breakfast when Bill appeared beside her.

"Your Majesty." He said with a low bow.

"What ya got, Bill?" She asked the Maharon general.

"After over hearing what the Whitelighter had to say, I thought it best to send out some scouts."

Maradon sighed.

"Let me guess, there's something amok out there and it sounds like what Grace was going on about."

Bill nodded.

"Alright." The Queen said. "Let's check it out."

Bill opened his mouth to object but was stopped by a glare from Maradon. Both Maharons disappeared to the interdimensional tunnels they used to get around.

{Verge}

Verge walked up the stairs and stopped at Sean's door.

"Sean?" he said, while knocking gently. "Can we talk?"

  • Author

He heard Verge's voice ask to come in, and he allowed him to.

When Verge came in, Sean sighed. "You know how my powers are molecular immobilization? I think now I can speed up atoms too, which caused the mini explosion. I call it molecular combustion. I'll clean it up by the way, I just need to think for a little." He got up from the chair at his desk and laid on his bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"It's my fault you know." He said breaking the silence. "If I hadn't found the book of shadows and activated my powers, we wouldn't have become the charmed ones. I think our parents bound my powers to save us from this. You guys would've still been witches, but it wouldn't be nearly this stressful. And here I come and ruin it all." He paused for a little, and then continued. "All of our collective power put together can cause the most powerful magic known to man. And yet, no matter what we do, there's always some demon that shows up wanting us dead, or to turn evil. I'm sorry I did this."

When Grace saw the second demon come, she backed off. She was very aggressive for a whitelighter, but she wasn't stupid.

"Oh it seems I brought a knife to a demon's fight." She joked. "I'll be going now. Thanks for telling me your name by the way Dragor. I'm sure the Charmed ones will have a much easier time vanquishing you." and with that, she orbed, heading towards the Charmed one's house.

{Verge}

Verge sat on the edge on an end table.

"Don't be." he said. "If you didn't, then we'd still have the same problems with less for us to do about it."

He shrugged.

"Besides, wishing something to be undone only distracts from living the best way we can."

Verge paused then laughed.

"Listen to me, will ya. I'm starting to sound like Maradon and Bill."

He chuckled softly and shook his head.

"Basically what I'm trying to say is that we are the Charmed Ones. There is no taking that back. If it was fate for us to become that, then there was jack we could do about it. If it was luck, then we got to just keep rolling the dice and see what other numbers we get."

Verge stood up and walked up to Sean's bed.

"And no matter what, we stick together because we are a family."

{Maradon}

Maradon and Bill stood, invisible, above where the three demons stood as Grace made her retreat.

"Well, that's lovely." Maradon said sourly.

"Aye, m'lady." Bill replied. "Demon's always take the fun out o' a good scrap."

"Keep some eyes on them, but at a distance." The Queen of the Maharon's instructed. "Pull everyone else back. I want as many able fighters to be at Verge's disposal when he and his brother and sister have to deal with this."

Bill made an uncomfortable sound.

"I'll do all as ya command, your majesty and I humbly suggest that you move some place safe."

Maradon's eyes flashed as she glared at her general.

"May the universe itself swallow me whole and spit out me bones before I allow my people and my love to fight while I hide when I am able to fight."

With that she turned and entered one of the Maharon tunnels. Bill sighed and followed.

{Susan}

Susan took a bus to the book shop where she worked. It was not that far from the King's home, so it wasn't that long a trip. When she entered the store, a radio was on. Breaking news was on about some sort of disturbance at a hospital. Susan couldn't help but feel that her day was going to get worse.

Sean sat up on his bed. "Yeah, I guess your right. And I mean it's not all that bad, being a witch. It's kind of fun sometimes." He got up. "Alright, I can hold off on the search for mom for now. Let's get that demon, shall we?"

As he finished his sentence, Grace orbed into Sean's room, standing near the desk.

"The demon's name is Dragor." She started. "He is most likely a upper level demon, which means we're gonna need a 'power of three' spell and maybe a potion to vanquish him. Sean, see if he's in the book of shadows." She stopped. "Susan's not here? Where is she? We need her for the power of three spell."

"She went to work." Sean replied. "No biggie."

Grace started to worry. "Who knows what could happen to you guys of you split up? We still don't know what his intentions are. Not to mention I saw another demon when I encountered Dragor, so we might have to be on the lookout for two demons."

Sean spoke, "You went up against him?" He was impressed.

Grace began to brag a little. "He was kind enough to give me his name, didn't even have to beat it out of him." She got serious again. "But keep that on the down low, I don't want the elders to know." She looked to Sean again. "Ok, try to find him in the book of shadows. If not, someone right a vanquishing spell. Try not to make the rhymes cheesy, ok?" She joked. "And we're probably gonna need to make a potion as potent as you can. After that I can orb you to Susan, and we can find Dragor. You guys ready?"

{Verge}

"I got the potion making." Verge volunteered.

He snapped his fingers and three Maharon appeared.

"Will, fire up the burners in the lab downstairs." Verge commanded. "Willy, get out the materials. William, make sure your brothers don't do anything stupid."

William, Will and Willy shouted "Yes, sir!" in unison before speeding off to complete there assigned tasks. Verge looked over at Sean.

"You good working on the spell?"

Down in the underworld, Dragor was talking with Dread and 'Master'. "So, you were a feared deamon general before you were sealed away, interesting." said 'Master'.

"Not so much, deamons were close to winning in those days, i almost won it for us, until Whitelighters imprisoned me, i finally had enough strength to escaped that poor excuse for a prison." said Dragor.

"I guess you are powerful, if you escaped a WHITELIGHTER prison." said Dread.

"Regardless, welcom to my army." said 'Master'.

Breakfast went by fast for Leon. It consisted of pancakes and bacon -The bacon was eaten very quickly- and now Leon layed on his bed, bored out of his mind. After the events a year or two ago, things slowly got less interesting. Sure, there as the occasional demon or vampire, but nothing that couldn't have been dealt with in over a week. Leon, being socially awkward, mainly hung around Sean and his siblings. Leon was too shy to really make any other friends. He had a few. But thats what they were, a very small amountt of people.

Leon aimlessely tossed a ball up and down, now and then checking his computer.

  • Author

Sean nodded. "I'm sure there's already a spell and potion in the book of shadows to vanquish him, our family got around. But if not, I guess we'll just have to freestyle huh?" He joked. "If I find potion ingredients that might be of use, I'll let you know." He grabbed a notebook and pen on his desk, and headed to the secret room which kept the book of shadows.

"I wonder how Leon's doing," Sean said as he place his hand on the wall, the door magically appearing in front of him. "I hope he's all right."

Grace looked to Verge. "I'm going to orb to Susan's workplace, I can sense where all my charges are, unless of course they're on another plane of existence, which I have yet to encounter. If something comes up and you guys need me for transportation or healing, just call out my name and I'll come. I won't be long." and with that she disappeared in glowing blue lights.

She appeared behind a shelf where no one could've seen her appear, and walked towards Susan.

"We have the demons name, and I have Sean and Verge working on a summoning spell and vanquishing potion and spell. But we're gonna need the power of three, it's an upper level demon." She looked out of the nearby window as if expecting a catastrophe to happen any second. She looked back at Susan. "You ready? I'll orb you home right now."

Edited by VIIth angel

{Susan}

Susan gave Grace a "really?" look before sighing.

"Alright, just give me a minute." She said.

She went back to the brake room, told the next highest person she had a family emergence and that she needed to go home. She clocked out, grabbed her back and went back to Grace.

"Ready." She told the Whitelighter.

{Verge}

Verge ran down stairs to the basement where there was a lab for brewing potions. William, Will and Willy had the place going, with ingredients of all kinds out for use. Verge had figured the family Book of Shadows would have what they needed, but it didn't hurt to have a back up plan. Or seven.

"Alright, boys." Verge said, rubbing his hands together. "Along with some potions to banish demons, I'm thinking some freezing potions wouldn't go amiss with our flaming friends."

{Maradon}

Maradon stepped out of the Maharon tunnels into the King's living room. Bill was readying troops. From the sounds and smells down stairs, Verge was brewing something. Maradon wasn't sure where Sean was, but he had a good head. He was probably doing something else for the defense or offense against the demons. Maradon moved to look out a window, down the way the demons would come if they were coming.

Sean tried to flip through the many pages, and eventually giving up and dropping the book in his lap.

"Ugh, there's so much in here. I wish there was an index or something."

Immediately after saying that, a mysterious wind blew the pages of the book until it stopped at a page containing everything about the demon Dragor.

He looked up and smiled. "Grams, you always have a way of being subtle, don't you?" he laughed. He did not know for sure if it was his grandmother, but to him he felt it was her.

"Cool! There's both a summoning and a vanquishing spell! And there's even a vanquishing potion for him. But wait..."

He ran down to the basement and set the book of shadows in front of Verge.

"It says like most upper level demons, you need some of their skin to add into the potion for it to work. How are we gonna do that?" He sat down and for a second it seemed like all was lost. Then he looked at Verge with a smile on his face.

"Wait a minute! I can freeze him! And we can get the skin and then the potion will work! But he might be able to fight my power..." He looked down again, and then had another idea.

"Unless I used my new power of molecular combustion. It wouldn't kill him, but it would wound him and we could get it then. Although I can't control that power yet. Heck, I still haven't mastered my molecular combustion. But I think my power is activated through emotions, until I can control my powers. I don't know for sure, but we'll have to try."

Grace smiled. She grabbed Susan's arm gently.

"Alright let's go. Umm... Hold your breath, ok?" and with that they both orbed away to the charmed ones house.

{Verge}

Verge was in the middle of brewing when Sean came down. He glanced at the formula for the banishing potion and made minor adjustments to what he was already working on.

"I'd say it'd be safer for you to freeze him than making him go boom." He said, not taking his eyes off the bubbling concoction. "We've already having to deal with a demon."

"And friends." Maradon cut in, coming down the stairs. "We'll have to worry about them, too. Me and the lads can keep them off of ya till you deal with the big one."

Verge nodded, though he didn't look away from the potion.

"Give it another minute, and this baby will be done, minus the skin sample. Now we just need Susan."

"Alright, it looks like we have this in the bag, I'll be upstairs in the secret room reading more in the book of shadows to try and get more leads on mom." And with that he left the room.

As he went to the room, Grace had orbed her and Susan into the living room.

"You OK? I think it's funny how we've known each other for a year, and yet you haven't experienced orbing until now. Try not to breath too fast." Grace told Susan. She looked around. "Where's Sean and Verge? Do you think they found the stuff to get this demon?

(Accepted. And just to let you know in case it affects your planned storyline, the Elders are the ones in charge of the whitelighters, and basically in charge of keeping the balance of good, which is the opposite of the Source, who is the leader of the underworld and evil, and has a mutual relationship with all the evil creatures and clans. The elders and the Source usually have a mutual understanding of keeping the balance of good and evil, while other people, both on the side of good and evil, would rather ignore their leaders and tip the scale.)

{Susan}

Susan bowed her head to readjust to the world after orbing.

"Knowing those two, if they haven't found anything, they'll becoming up with their own way to rid the world of demons."

She took a deep breath and stood up straight.

"I'm going to check on which ever one is working with the book."

Susan marched upstairs and went into the secret room.

{Verge & Maradon}

"Alrighty, two vials of the banishing potion ready for skin." Verge said, laying them aside. "Lets get some Ice potions up to give the demons something to think about."

"Sure it's gonna work?" Maradon asked him.

"No, but I'd feel like I tried something."

Maradon chuckled.

"In that case, I'll get ya a spoon. You can try to kill 'em with it if your magic don't work."

Verge gave Maradon a mock annoyed look, though his amusement was evident in his eyes. Maradon grinned at him.

Sean was trying to find a spell to take him to the underworld. There he would have to think of some way of finding his mom. Maybe that was why the spells like "to call a lost witch" spell wasn't working, because maybe the underworld protects against that kind of magic. Or maybe it was something else, he did not know.

While looking through the book, he saw Susan enter through the door.

"Hey Susan, I found the spells, I'll recite them with you guys when we're ready. And by the way, do you know if there's a spell in the book of shadows that takes you to the underworld? I think mom's in there, and I wanna try to find her. If not I could try writing one."

Grace went into the basement, as she thought someone had to of been in their working on a potion. She entered the basement and saw that she was right, as Verge appeared to of just made one.

"You almost ready? I brought Susan, so we can summon the demon and take him on now."

Edited by VIIth angel

Dragor was gathering a few deamon grunts to attack the surface. He then left for the surface, determined to conquer, or destroy. When he arrived, people began to run in fear, except the cops in the area. "Well, looks like we got some resistance......FINISH THEM!!!!" shouted Dragor.

On the roof of a nearby building, a hooded figure was watching the chaos. "So, the seal has been broken....this will not be easy." he said.

{Susan}

Susan made a face.

"Going to the underworld is dangerous." she said. "For all we know, that's what Mom did and either got lost or captured, if she is there."

Though she didn't like the idea, her wish to have her mother again was very great.

"Look, there was a professor at the college I was going to go to before grandma died. He's a witch too and he knows a lot about scrying spells, even ones that could look into the underworld. Please, let's talk to him and learn how to scry the underworld before we go."

{Verge & Maradon}

"Made two vials of the potion, though they'll need some of the demon's skin to mix in before it will work." Verge said, holding up the vials. "Sean is thinking of either freezing or exploding the demon to get our skin sample."

"Back up plan: my lads takes the skin the old fashioned way." Maradon said.

"Plus ice potions, just in case plus the are fun to make." Verge continued. "So, we are good to go."

  • Author

At first, Sean felt frustrated thinking about waiting even more to find his mother, but then again, he waited 12 years so far, why not a little longer?

"...Ok, that makes more sense. But he better know his stuff, or I'm going there myself."

He got up and grabbed a yellow piece of paper that he copied the summoning and vanquishing spell, and looked to Susan, smiling.

"We have a demon to vanquish, don't we?" He headed down to the basement, where Grace, Verge and his followers were.

"Ok, I'm tired of waiting. Let's go to the living room and get this over with. We can't do it outside, the demon caused enough chaos already, and we can't risk being exposed." He thought of the detective that had gotten suspicious of the Kings after their grandmothers death, and he did not wanna go through that again.

Grace spoke, "The Cleaners will take care of wiping the memories of what really cause this damage already done, although they are a neutral party whose only intentions are to keep the existence of magic a secret, so try not to screw up, there are things they can't erase."

Edited by VIIth angel

"It seems like gas mains are a popular cover story." Maradon pointed out. "Or at least, in the TV shows."

Verge chuckled as he gathered up the potions for transportation. He started to move then stopped.

"Do we need stuff for the spell itself?" he asked.

"I'll get it if we do." Susan told him, waving a hand for him to go on.

Verge nodded and headed upstairs to the living room. Maradon followed him, looking like a guard. Susan looked at Sean and Grace.

"Alright unless we need to grab something else, let's get this over with."

  • Author

Sean shook his head. "No, it didn't say we needed anything. Here I'm gonna say the summoning spell, then when he shows up, we'll get the skin and after you add it, throw the potion. When the potion starts smoking around him, I'll start saying the vanquishing spell, and you and Susan join in. Let's go."

When everyone was hidden in the living room, Sean said the spell.

"Demon from the prison cell

The cell that came from the depths of hell

Appear to us now, in our sights

So we may vanquish thee with our might."

As he finished the words, in the center of the room sparks and wind began to fly, and Dragor began to slowly materialize in the center.
