This is a direct continuation of my previous RP, called "Charmed Again" if you are confused about any references, which I will do my best to explain, this is the link to the previos rp:

In 2012, the world is filled with many magical creatures, like Witches (both male and female), Demons, werewolves, vampires etc. The King family, whose original name were the Haliwells, now have three siblings, who are called "The charmed ones." their collective power is greater than no other, that is when they aren't fighting like regular siblings do. After working together and using a spell and potion to vanquish a demon named Xiev who murdered their grandmother, their bond has been reunited, thus enacting them as the charmed ones. While trying their best to live normal lives, they are always plagued with misilaneous creatures and demons, trying to either destroy the charmed ones, turning them evil, binding their powers by turning them against each other (You know, the usual) Will they live their lives comfortably, or will their downfall come swiftly and quickly?

 

Rules:

•Regular RP rules. Controlling other peoples characters are allowed, with their permission

•cussing is allowed

•Try to stay committed to the rp as long as possible. If you're planning on leaving, please kill off your character or have them leave or something

•To show that you've read the rules, post your favorite movie at the bottom of your sign up sheets

 

I already have a character that's one of the charmed ones and if the person who played the other two siblings (rikunobodyxiii) still wants to do ONE of them, he automatically gets that part and there will be one more sibling character available. However, if he's not up for that, then there are two sibling positions. And not to mention, you can be other things, like other good witches, evil witches, demons etc. theses are only a few descriptions:

 

Good witches/Charmed ones: these are witches who use their powers for good. They don't usually use their magic for personal gain, as the magic usually has a way of backfiring. Their powers consist of spellcasting (spells that rhyme usually), potion making, scrying (the power to find the location of someone/something using a crystal, map, and a personal belonging of that person/thing) which they use to vanquish evil and help people out, although some would rather renounce their powers and avoid magic altogether. Witches also hae a unique power (telekinesis, teleporting, etc.)

 

Evil witches: basically the opposite of good witches, their usual goal is to bring chaos to the world, or fufill their own personal desires. 

 

Book of shadows: Most families of witches, good or evil, have a family made book called the book of shadows, which contains pre-recorded spells, potion recipes, creature information/vanquishing information. The book of shadows are protected from the opposite alignment (evil book of shadows magically protected from good, and good books repelled from evil beings) and unless willingly destroyed by a family member of the owners of that book of shadows, virtually indestructible

 

Whitelighter: Guardians of good witches and future whitelighters, they help in anyway they can to guide their charges in the right direction. Their powers are Orbing (teleporting by means of turning their atoms into weightless balls of light) and healing, as well as the ability to speak the language of their charge.

 

Darklighters: they do the complete opposite of whitelighters, guiding evil witches and are bounty hunters killing whitelighters with the only weapon that can, a crossbow with an arrow tipped with a special poison. They also orb (with dark light)

 

Demons: set up by classes, demons can range from weak and feeble to strong and intimidating, varying in shape and size. They all have different varying powers, and have an organized order in the underworld, although most have their own intentions and desires.

 

Because I've listed a lot, I don't expect you to read all of the character descriptions, but do read the ones your interested in.

Name: Sean King (Haliwell)

Powers: other than basic witch powers, he has molecular immobilization and a recently discovered power molecular combustion 

Alignment: good

Appearance:

Bio: Recently finding out he's a witch, and a charmed one at that, not to mention coping with his guardian's death who was his grandmother, he is desperately trying to adjust. He occasionally practices his magic, which he still needs to work out the kinks, and when an evil creature becomes a problem, works together with his two siblings to vanquish it. He is also desperately trying to find out what his mother's whereabouts are. He likes to use his families previous last name, Haliwell, more than the recent last name King. He occasionally gets into fights with his siblings, although being the youngest of the three, usually loses them.

Sean rolled his eyes but complied with the suggestion. As he stepped inside, he asked Mr. Javier a question.

"So, you specialize on scrying? I mean, we use our crystal and map to find demons and our innocents we protect, but I didn't know there was more to it."

{Susan}

"Scrying?" Mr. Javier repeated. "Why would you want to know about-"

"It's about our mother, Professor." Susan cut in. "We are hoping to be able to locate her in the Underworld with scrying."

Javier looked back and forth from Susan to Sean. His gaze settled on Susan.

"Let me guess, little brother here wanted to go there looking, right?"

Before Susan could answer, Javier switched to Sean.

"If she brought you here so that you wouldn't go into the underworld to find you mom, then you should thank her."

He slammed the door closed and the two Kings felt another wave of magic and the feeling of being transported.

"The underworld is just as big as our universe and a whole lot nastier." The professor continued, heading back down a hall to a sitting room.

The sitting room was littered with books of all kinds and papers of all kinds. Javier cleared off half of a couch for the King Siblings to sit. Susan took the middle, near the books, which she worked hard not to touch.

"But luckily, I think I have something you can use to find her." Javier said as he sat down in an office chair.

As much as Sean was beginning to dislike this Mr. Javier, he was so desperate to find his mother that he would do anything.

Sean sat down and looked at Mr. Javier. Leaning closer towards him and with a desperate yet frustrated tone, he asked. "And what is that?"

 

Grace looked at this demon with suspicious eyes. "Yes, what do you want with the Haliwells? There's got to be a catch with your kindness, all the demons I've met in my time had one."

{Susan}

Mr. Javier gave Sean a sour look, but then waved it away.

"I know, I know." He said. "You need to find her fast. I sympathize for you, Sean, but if you are going to search for her right, you just might have to wait."

He then got out of his chair and exited the room.

"Don't worry about him." Susan said as soon as Javier left the room. "He owed Dad a favor. For something like this, he's not going to let us down."

"I most certainly will not." Javier said as he reentered the room by way of a secret door behind some book shelves.

In his hands he held what looked to be a magnify glass with a small tray attached to it.

"This is one of the best instruments for scrying." He explained, retaking his seat. "It's simple to use."

He pointed to the tray with his pinky.

"Here you put something of what your looking for. In your case, an old clothes item of your mothers, a piece of jewelry. The best would be a lock of hair or something like that that was a part of her. That will increase the accuracy of the device. To choice realms, sprinkle some ingredient common in that realm. Ash is good for the Underworld. Look it up in your families book of shadows when you get home."

He handed the device to Susan.

"Just to warn you, you have to direct the image this gives and it won't always give you what you want to start. Especially with looking from here to the underworld. But, given time and if she's there, that will find your mother."

Susan looked at the device a moment, then offered it to Sean.

Sean took the device graciously. "Thank you Mr. Javier." eager to try the device out, he got up and went to the front door. "I'll be out in the car, lets go soon." and with that, he was out the door.

When he got in the old car, he examined the device. He was curious as to how this invention came about being created. He then thought of the millions of other things about magic Sean had yet to learn.

"I love magic." he said to himself.

{Verge & Maradon}

"Traveling with two girls can do that." Verge replied to Volt.

Maradon gave Verge a short glare then looked up at Volt.

"So, what's this 'more to come' you were going on about?" she said.

 

Volt sighed and jumped off the roof he was on and landed in front of the others. "I wish it were simple to explain.....centuries ago, when darkness and light fought for supremisy, there was a group of deamons more powerful than anything, almost as powerful as the source, we had killed many in those days, i had changed sides about mid-war, and helped seal away those deamons, but fearing i would never be trusted, i fled and wondered the earth. That seal the Whitelighters sealed those deamons away with, it cracked, and i fear that with the incantation Dragor used, it no longer exists, each of the deamons behind that door absorb a small portion of the previeous deamons power, until there is one left, he will be the most difficult to defeat." said Volt. Volt then looked to the sky and noticed the sun had almost set. "And i fear the next one will be here sooner than you think."

 

Another strong quake began, only this time, the seal on the doors completely dissappeared and Zen walked out. "Now to Alcatraz, where Volt will most likely be." said Zen as he set out.

{Susan}

Susan said her thank yous to Professor Javier and left. She felt his study leave the building behind her. She shivered and got into the car.

"You and Verge can figure that thing out once he gets back from Alcatraz." She said as she buckled up and started the car. "Also, one of us needs to research stuff we need for a trip to the underworld once we find Mom."

She pulled into traffic and headed towards home.

 

{Verge & Maradon}

Verge face palmed. He then dropped his hand and sighed.

"Did I mention that I have a test I should be studying for?" he said.

"Looks like you'll have to wing that one." Maradon replied.

When Sean and Susan got home, Sean ran inside. He looked around.

"They're still not back yet," Sean said. "Let's get Grace to take us to them." He looked up. "Grace! Grace take us to you guys!"

 

Grace heard Sean's voice and looked to Verge.

"They're calling me, I don't mean to leave you, but I won't be long. I'll be right back." She orbed to their house in front of Susan and Sean.

{Verge & Maradon}

Verge gave Grace a thumbs up sign as she left.

"So, what else can you tell us of these demons we're gonna hav' ta fight?" Maradon asked Volt. "Any personal weaknesses we can use?"

"And not just physical." Verge added, catching on to Maradon's train of thought. "Can we use in of the demon's pride, vanity or anger to make them do something stupid?"

 

{Susan}

Susan was about to go up stairs when Grace appeared.

"So, what have we learned?" She asked the Whitelighter.

"Oh you know, century old demons, balance of good and evil in danger. Coming?" Grace said as she held out her hands.

Sean smiled. "The everyday lives of the charmed ones. I think we have almost everything that we need to find mom, so let's do this for now, and then we're getting mom." he grabbed Grace's hand and looked to Susan. "Let's go?"

"There's only one that i know of that has a weakness like that, a deamon named Zen, his ego always got the best of him, when i changed sides, i fought Zen on this very island........lucky for me his ego got in the way, and i was able to weaken him enough to allow the Whitelighters to seal him away.... as for the others that were sealed away, i'd only know their weakness if i saw them, but i fear Zen has already escaped, and is on his way here." said Volt.

 

"You couldn't be any more correct, Volt." said Zen as he appeared. "Shame really, you were a great fighter, reduced to a wonderer......but, since you've brought some victims to this island, i'll happily let you're betrayal slide."

 

"Dream on, Dog Breath." said Volt as he called on his swords and charged. As he did, a storm started to arrive, and lightning was quickly seen.

 

When Volt and Zen clashed, lightning started striking near them, and only near them. "You know, you two could jump in at any time!" shouted Volt.

{Susan}

Susan grabbed Grace's hand as well.

"Ready." She said.

 

{Verge and Maradon}

Verge dropped low, flinging out an ice potion at Zen. The vial hit the demon's foot and broke, spilling its contents. The magic reacted and froze Zen's foot to the floor in a block of ice.

Maradon whistled as she jumped up and slammed Zen in the back with her little fist. A squad of Maharons appeared above the battle with tiny bows in hand.

"Fire when you get a clear shot!" Yelled Bill, the Maharon General.

Grace orbed them to Alcatraz, where the battle was raging on.

"Oh no, did I leave them alone too long?" Grace asked worriedly. "We have to help them!"

Sean ran up to where the battle was. Concentrating really hard, he waved his hand, causing a miniature explosion at Zen.

"Yes!" Sean shouted happily. That was the first time he'd used his new power willingly.

Zen felt the force of the attacks on him. Zen broke free of the ice holding his foot and surrounded his blade in dark energy. "If you think i'll be that easily defeated.....THINK AGAIN!!!!" shouted Zen as he sent waves of dark energy around the entire battlefield.

 

Volt saw a wave of energy was heading for Grace and jumped in front of her. "This is gonna hurt." said Volt. Volt was hit and sent flying into the building, literally.

Susan and Verge got knocked back. Maradon stayed stationary, though with effort. The Maharon Archers were knocked down, losing a few arrows.

"And I just made those." wined one of the archers.

"Buck up and get ready to fire." Bill barked.

Maradon drew her sword and stared into Zen's eyes.

"Come on, ya little demon." she taunted. "A pip squeak like you ain't gonna be a problem."

Verge rolled onto his hands and feet.

"Susan." he called quietly to his sister.

Susan managed to sit up.

"I need some skin." He said, holding up the second vial he had made for Dragor.

"Will that work on a different demon?" Susan asked.

"Only one way to find out."

Susan nodded and looked around. She saw some 12 small arrows the Maharon's had dropped. She grabbed them telekineticly and hurled them at Zen.

Grace orbed to Volt and helped him up.

"Are you alright?" Grace asked. "Don't risk your life for me like that. Trust me, there's only one thing that can kill me, and I don't think there's any Darklighters with there special arrows around here, so I'm good."

Sean concentrated on Zen and froze him with his powers. He didn't know how long he would stay frozen, or even if it would only slow him down and not stop him completely, but it might be just enough to let those arrows Susan threw to get him.

"Thanks for the concern, but i've taken worse hits from that guy, it may sting, but i've got a hard hide." said Volt. Volt then walked through the hole in the wall that he came through and noticed Zen was frozen. "Oh no, they didn't do that, please tell me they didn't do that."

 

Zen was hit by the arrows, but when he busted out of the ice he was encased in, he didn't look like the egocentric deamon that first arrived, his eyes looked like fire now. "You dare attempt to imprison me again.....I WILL HAVE YOUR LIVES!" shouted Zen as he was suddenly surrounded in dark energy and launched it everywhere like an explosion.

(just letting you know that Sean doesn't literally "freeze" with ice, he just stops the movent of atoms, like this.

Verge threw ice potions, so that would make sense with the ice, but just for future reference)

Sean was blown back by the explosion and hit his head hard on the ground, blood trickling from his head.

"Ow...." was all he said.

Again, Verge went flying. He hit a wall and dropped to the ground.

"Long day." He grunted as he tried to get back up.

He saw Sean on the ground and hobbled over to him.

"How's it going?" Verge asked his brother as he looked him over.

Maradon was hit full force be the dark force, but held her ground. She gritted through the pain and held up her sword.

"Fine!" She yelled as she leaped onto Zen.

She didn't manage a good swing with her sword, but she did bring the hilt down on the demons head.

Susan protected herself with a telekinetic shield. She smiled to see the arrows had done their work. She looked over at Volt.

"Unless you know a better way to banish him, we are going to need some skin from his." She said. "Can you get some for us?"

"Is the underwolrd dull?" replied Volt. he ran at Zen full force and surrounded his swords in lightning.

 

Zen felt the strike to his head, but seemed barely affected. "If this is the best all of you can do, you're a joke." said Zen.

 

"If you like jokes, this'll be shocking." said Zen as he shot lightning, sending Zen into the air. Volt then jumped up and landed on a bolt of lightning, and started dancing the irish jig. As he was doing so, he cut a piece of skin from Zen's shoulder, then did a corkscrew flip, kicking Zen to the ground, landing soon after. "Thank you Michael Flatley.........HERE'S THE SKIN!" called Volt as he tossed Susan the skin.

Sean had to think of a new spell fast that would apply to the new demon they were fighting. It wouldn't be long until Susan had the potion ready and would throw it at Zen, and he didn't have a lot of time to come up with a working spell.

He'd already been analyzing what spell to create. He ruled out a 2 liner spell, especially if it needed to be a power of three spell. So he deducted he had to come up with a 4 line spell in about a minute.

"Ok, you can do this..." He said to himself conjuring up the most concentration he ever had in his entire life.

Maradon dropped off Zen, making a slash for the demon's legs.

"I keep tellin' Verge that Riverdancin' would be good for him." She said to Volt. "Nice technique."

"Susan!" Verge yelled to his sister.

He then tossed her the vial of the potion. He then leaned down and got next to Sean.

"Ready to cast when you are." he told his little brother.

Susan telekineticly caught both the potion and the skin. Bring them together in her hands, she begins to mix them.

"Thanks, it's nice to meet someone who doesn't try to kill me first.....you know, deamon, rotten past, Whitelighters wanna kill me before i explain, ya know, same old-same old......be back in a sec." said Volt as he ran at Zen again. Volt started using different kicks from various martial arts, mostly japanese style martial arts. a few kicks made contact, and a few of Zen's counter attacks hit Volt.

 

Zen caught one of Volts feet to stop him from attacking. "Say goodbye." said Zen.

 

Volt used his free foot to deliver a roundhouse kick to Zen's head, knocking him to the ground, and mostly out cold. "Goodbye." said Volt as he walked back. 'I hope this, 'power of three' thing works on this guy, he's a lot stronger than Dragor.' he thought.

Grace smiled. "The charmed one's power of three is the strongest magic there is, when they aren't fighting that is." She looked to Sean. "Quickly now! I think it should work all the same if you say the spell before the potion is thrown, but do it quickly!"

Sean looked to Susan, and then back at Zen. He finally had something workable as a spell, and hoped it was good enough for a vanquishing spell.

"Blinding pride be your doom

Never to return we assume

In flames you leave the mortal plane

And return to the place from whence you came!"

Verge chanted along with Sean, adding his magical power to his brothers.

Susan threw the potion, controlling it's course telekineticly to smash into Zen.

Maradon flipped back out of the way. The Maharon archers, back in position, shot arrows to keep Zen pinned.
