Honestly to me he only sounds weird because we're still so used to the jap voices (well i am anyways) Haley is getting pretty old, and Sora looking like a kid with his 16 year old voice just makes it seem a bit more awkward.

Yeah they sound good! And I don't think you should worry about Joshua. He sounded pretty fine to me, and I've just been depleting TWEWY. The fact that it's going to be prolonged speech instead of short battle cries and that laugh of his is what's going to be weird to most people. Either way, what's done is done, the game is almost here so we shall just have to wait and see. If it's not to our liking, I'm sure there will be threads about it :P

But he had one spoken line at the end. :/

All this makes me wonder what would happen if a Kingdom Hearts HD collection is released and they decide to add content to the first game where Sora has new recorded lines. They'd be in a fix unless they decided to redo the entire game.

They could just follow the final mix route and have only subtitles.

I think Sora's voice in English is fine just the way it is just the same as his Japanese voice is, in fact, i believe that Haley Joel Osment and Miyu Irino's voices define what Sora's voice really sounds like.

Axel sounded...weird. They just got older I guess. And Haley voiced KH1 Sora?

Yep. Then he grew up and his voice changed. I find it kind of funny.
