Right then, ahem:

Basically it takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts II, as Sora,Riku and Kairi have returned to Destiny Islands, while Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy Goof, Pluto, Jiminy Cricket, Chip and Dale as well as Huey,Duey and Louie as well as Scrooge McDuck have returned to Disney Castle and are reunited with their loved ones, namely, both Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck for both Mickey and Donald respectively.

Jiminy decides to organize both his Journals from Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, of which, he reflects on what does the meaning "Thank Namine" mean, only to find another message in his Journal from KH that he didn't write, "We must return to free them from their torment.".

Jiminy goes to Mickey in order to find out what it means and so, Mickey decides to digitize the Journal in order to further explore it more better, as he creates a Data Sora from Sora's records from Kingdom Hearts to do so.
