(This is a 1X1 Rp between me and Stardustblade358, no one else may post here.)

 

This is a Rp that will take place inside the "The World" and everyday life on the outside

 

~Background~

 

"The World R:2" Is a popular MMORPG in which almost everyone plays. The server of the original game called "The World" was destroyed in a fire in the year 2015 and by the eve of christmas, "The World R:2" was released. It is the year 2016 and now, something has appeared within "The World" once again, making people fall into Comas.

 

~Classes~

 

"The World R:2" has a variety of classes in which the player can choose for their PC (Player Character). Here are the Classes available along with their strengths and weaknesses.

 

Adept Rogue - A class which uses multiple weapons from other classes in different situations. Leveling up takes more time for this class and each weapon chosen must be learned seperately. To choose the classes you'd like, the player is given 4 points to spend on their classes and you start with the class you choose first. To gain the other Classes, you must go through a 'Job Extend' Quest.

 

Blade Brandier (1 Point) - A class which wields a katana or fast pace like sword, it's strength and speed is above average and is a well rounded class.

 

Edge Punisher (1 Point) - A class that uses a huge double handed sword to fight. They are slower than most other classes but are capable of dealing incredible damage at higher levels

 

Twin Blade (1 Point) - A class which uses twin swords, it is the fastest class and allows for easy combos. They also have great agility in order to attack quickly, leaving no chance for a counter attack

 

Flick Reaper (2 Point) - A class which excells in mid-range combat, usually using scythes, which is able to swipe away any on-coming attacks from other close range classes. This class can however be over powered by long range attacks easily

 

Lord Partizan (2 Point) - A class that wields large lances with incredible piercing power. Their physical strength and defence are very high and they can cause the most immediate damage. However, they are weak against magic attacks and their levels go up the slowest.

 

Tribal Grappler (2 Point) - This class uses their own fists as weapons, along with gloves or knuckledusters, having high HP and agility for powerful, fast hits. Their defence is very low and this means the player has to keep an eye on the battle at all times.

 

Macabre Dancer (3 Point) - A class which allows the player to use both light and dark magic for healing and attacking purposes. The player levels up quickly, wielding large bladed fans in each hand along with the power to cast status ailments.

 

Harvest Cleric (3 Point) - The player learns spells for both healing and supporting quickly in this class, but very little attacking magic or physical strength can be gained. They also have high HP and Defence, wielding staves for casting magic.

 

Shadow Warlock (3 Point) - The player learns spells for both Attacking and inflicting Status ailments quickly in this class, but very little

healing magic or physical strength can be gained. They also have high HP and Defence, wielding books known as Grimoires for casting magic.

 

Steam Gunner (3 Point) - This class depends on guns which are best used at long range, but can be used to knock enemies away at close range with the bayonet on the end of their guns, which isn't very effective at dealing damage. This class has the greatest level of physical strength in "The World" when firing from the actual gun. They also have high HP and Defence.

Bio: Nate hasn't begun playing yet, but he has heard many good things from his class mates saying how "The World" is the greatest game to have ever existed. Nate is generally a quiet student, but everyone around him knows him as a top gamer who can complete any game. Although Nate is known as a great gamer, the title of 'greatest' in his class is undecided, as his class mate and rival gamer, Rose, constantly challenges him. Nate also lives at home alone, his parents send him money every month for rent and food in order for him to look after himself.

Reasons for playing "The World" : Nate heard it was a good game from his other class mates and decided to try it out.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Kanra immediately took off after Rosario before she got herself into any trouble. (But she is right, that power was incredible, there's no way an average player can have weapons and stats like that.) Kanra managed to caught up to Rosario and managed to stop her before she ran off some more. "Stop and think for a minute. Those guys he fought were over level 140 and he took them out without even breaking a sweat. Even if the two of us were to work together, we'd be dead before we could even say 'Duel'." "Hey, you two." Kanra and Rosario blinked at each other before turning to see Ragna standing a few feet from them. (It's Ragna!) Ragna stared at the two with a straight face. "I'm giving the two of you my email account and entry passes into the 'Black Order' Guild that I'm running. I can't tell you much more out here in the open world, so when you're ready, meet me there." Ragna then walked off towards the Chaos Gate and disappeared. "Am I dreaming or did he just send us friend requests and invite us into his guild?" Kanra asked, feeling confused about the conversation they just had with Ragna as two notifications popped up, one for adding 'Ragna The BloodEdge' as a friend and another as a key card into the 'Black Order' Guild.

Rosario smiled real big as she slowly came into realization of what was going on. She accepted the friend request and the guild card appeared on her hand. "If you're dreaming that we are having the same dream,Kanra."Rosario says. She was actually,impressed. She wanted to confront him head on,instead the two of them got invited into a guild of the guy. "(This is pretty cool. I can totally brag about this back at school when I happen to be around.)"Rosario thinks. She then flipped her hair. "I think it is obvious what happened here,Kanra."Rosario says. He looked up. Rosario made a fist and looked up into the sky. "Ragna has obviously heard of us and our amazingness and wants to be just as magnificent as us,therefor he must have us close to him,in his guild,just to be around us and learn!"Rosario says as she flipped her hair again. She could noticed Kanra anime sweatdrop. Rosario looked up. "I don't know about you. But I'm heading to the guild. I wanna see what this Ragna guy wants. Coming along?"Rosario asks Kanra.

Kanra stared at Rosario as she seemed to be boasting about their popularity. "Uhhhh, hate to burst your bubble Rosario, but I don't think that this is because he's heard of us... This is all really suspicious but I guess we should go to this Guild to find out what's what." Kanra then turned at Rosario with a nod. "Alright then, let's get going." Kanra and Rosario then walked off towards the Chaos Gate and teleported back to Mac Anu in the Delta Server. "Alright, we should head on over to the Mercenary District, that's where all of the Guild's are." The two carried on walking until they arrived in the Mercenary District as they stood in front of a large wooden door. "Alright, this is it. This door leads to the Guilds that are created by Players in this world." Kanra walked up to the door and held up the Black Order key card that he was given, the door then slowly began to open. "Let's go..." The two walked in to see a small animal like creature with a red jacket, oddly colored eyes and white hair. "Who are you?" "Who am I you ask *Oink* I'm Blood Grunty *Oink*!" "Blood... Grunty?" Just then, Ragna walked in frim another part of the Guild. "I see you found your way here on your own." Ragna stood next to Blood Grunty and looked at the two of them. "I bet you're probably wondering why you're even here, so let me shed some light." Ragna's left eye narrowed on the two. "The Black Order is a Guild which is under direct orders from CC Corporation to hunt down and destroy Tri-Edge, who I'm sure that you're aware of." "Wait, you work for CC Corp?" "Well, not directly, but my boss does. Even though I'm the formal leader for the Black Order, my boss is the real leader of this Guild. This Guild is made up of very 'special' users such as myself and our three other members." Kanra stared at Ragna with a suspicious look on his face. "This is all too fishy for my liking, why do you need us?" Ragna looked at Kanra and turned away slightly. "Like I already said, we're looking for special players and the two of you might just be those players that we are looking for. Kanra, you're Player Character is almost identical to mine and therefore... you might be an Epitaph User." "Epitaph?" "Yeah, a type of player with the ability to fight against AIDA." Kanra was starting to get lost with all of these new words entering his brain. "I don't understand. What the heck is AIDA? What does and Epitaph do? Why were we the ones chosen?" Ragna looked down and sighed. "This is starting to get annoying..." "Let me handle it Ragna, you never were good at talking for more than five minutes." Ragna looked over his shoulder to see another player who was wearing a black cloak and had black hair. "Shut up Kirito, if you think you're so good, then explain to them." Ragna turned back at Kanra and Rosario. "You two, this is Kirito, he's one of my two partners who help out with destroying AIDA and a member of this Guild, he's an Epitaph User with a Hacked Player Character. Kirito, the kid who looks like me is Kanra and the chick with fiery red hair is Rosario. Now, get along everyone, I have to get going anyway." Ragna then logged out and left Rosario and Kanra with Kirito. "So, I'll be taking over for the bonehead that just left, any questions?" Kirito asked with a grin on his face, obviously showing to be a lot more cheerful than Ragna.

Rosario stared a bit confused. She shook her head a bit and crossed her arms. "(Well this is more confusing that I thought it would be.)"Rosario thinks. She watched Ragna walk away as Kirito took over in his place to answer any questions. "Well. I guess you could start with the basics. We know who Tri-Edge is,and we know thw rumors of players ending up in comas after they are defeated by him. But..."Rosario says. She looked up a bit. "Please explain more,of what exactly is AIDA? And if Epitaph player is someone who has the ability to fight against AIDA,what exactly are we facing against that only a few specific players,Epitaph player,can fight against it?What is special of an Epitaph player?"Rosario asks as she kept her arms crossed and her eyes a bit narrowed. As always Rosario was a bi-polar as her actual self. She reacts differently to specific people while showing off her selfish higher-up personality at the same time. She looked down at the Grunty. "What are you looking at?" The Grunty simply walked off.

Kirito nodded with a smile. "Alright, we'll start at the beginning. I'm sure you've heard of people falling unconscious within "The World" and then they don't wake up. The cause of this is AIDA, black spots that have been appearing in this world lately. We have reason to believe that AIDA and Tri-Edge are linked in some way, but we're not quite sure yet. Now, to the part that concerns you two, an Epitaph User. An Epitaph User is someone who has the power over a certain... power. It's a power that can fight back against AIDA and destroy it, but there are not many of us. An Epitaph User's Player Character is possessed by an Avatar, that's what we use for all the fighting. Normal players can't see Avatars, so that saves us trouble if we're surrounded by people." "So, you think we're Epitaph Users?" "Yeah, it's a possibility. We've detected certain energy patterns from when you were out in the field that might suggest the appearance of an Avatar. Also, I should let you know. Even if you're PC is possessed by an Avatar, doesn't mean you are an Epitaph User." Kanra scratched his head in confusion. "How can you not be an Epitaph User if you're possessed by an Avatar?" "Well, take Ragna for example. He is most definantly possessed by an Avatar, but he isn't an Epitaph User yet because he hasn't been able to call upon his Avatar once yet." Kanra looked shocked as he realised that Ragna couldn't awaken an Avatar. "So why is he so powerful?" "You really wanna know? This is scary stuff, even for me." Kanra and Rosario nodded. "Ragna The BloodEdge is a level 476 Adept Rouge with an ability to convert damage dealt into a stat multiplier. Ragna is also one of the greatest hackers I've ever seen after managing to fool the system into allowing him entry into this Guild, discovering all of the plans CC Corp has been hiding from the general population. I don't know why he's still working with us, but it's probably for his own gain. We have attempted to track him down in the real world, but he keeps moving and we can't pin point his location. Judging from his last known location, he's in Japan, but that's all we know." " I see... I wonder if I'll ever see him..." "Oh well... Anyway, I'm sure that you're both now aware of the situation. So, would you like to join us in order to rescue the system from AIDA and potentially awaken your Avatars?"

Rosario thought of it. "So a mission to awaken our true potential,which means that we might get more powerful. Plus the chance of defeating this thing and pretty much becoming heroes while defeating this terrible creature that has been putting players to sleep..."Rosario says. She made a fist and looked up. "I accept the challenge. Infact. I'm going to end up discovering my true potential so quickly,that AIDA and and Tri-Edge will end up fearing me for all they know!"Rosario says as she flipped her hair,showing off her dominant personality. She smirked and got a hand on her hip and a hand by the face in a delicate and evil matter. "You know what,lets start whatever training you have right now! I am ready to take on anything. I went through over 100 floors just to get an eyeball I can totally handle some training right now!"Rosario says as she looked up with sharp eyes as sharp as her tounge. She looked up at Kirito. "We can take on whatever you throw at us."Rosario says smirking as she flipped her hair again and seemed to chuckle.

Kanra stared at Rosario and scratched behind his head. (Rosario sure is confident, but I don't know... All this talk about Avatars, AIDA and Tri-Edge, something just doesn't feel right.) Kanra looked at Kirito and crossed his arms in front of him. "No offence, but I don't think we can help out much. You say that Ragna is level 400-something yet he doesn't have the power of an Avatar? Something's fishy about that... I mean, if he hasn't awakened at that level, how do you expect us to?" "That is true, there's no guarantee that you will ever awaken and I'm afraid that Ragna's greatest strength is his biggest weakness." "What? That guy has a weakness?" "Yeah, I'm surprised you didn't notice while he was at the arena. Ragna is ruthless, don't think of him as a knight in shining armor because he is far from it. That guy has a deep rage boiled up inside of him, so you don't wanna get him in a bad mood. But, no one has really been enough of a challenge to get him in that state. If someone was strong enough to go toe-to-toe with Ragna and make him loose his cool, then you'll begin to see his gaming getting a little sloppy. Anyway, we need someone to get Ragna so riled up that he'll awaken his Avatar." Kanra tilted his head with a confused look. "What do you mean 'rile him up to awaken his Avatar'?" "Well an Avatar is a funny thing, it doesn't respond to the Player Character, but to you, the Player itself." "How? How can that possibly happen?" Kirito sighed. "I'm starting to see why Ragna left, you ask way too many questions Kanra, can't you just accept it?" "Actually, I can't... This place is way too fishy and I don't like it. Besides, all of what we've been talking about is a bit hard to swallow." Kirito nodded with a sigh. "I see, if you do not wish to join us, then we will not force you to change your mind." "Thanks..." Kanra handed the invite back to Kirito and turned away. "I'm heading out. Rosario, if you want to be a part of this guild, then by all means join. Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean that you have to, just do what you want." Kanra yawned and began walking towards the exit of the guild. "I'm going to log out for the day, I'm pretty tired and I need some rest." "Wait, you must not speak to anyone about the true nature of this guild." "Yeah yeah, I got it, I won't tell a soul." Just then, Kanra had left the guild and logged out of 'The World'. "Miss Rosario, are you still going to join our ranks then? To be honest, I believe you show much more promise of becoming an Epitaph User than what Kanra did and you already know the importance of this guild towards the real world. So, how about it? Wanna be a hero?"

Rosario watched as Kanra walked away and logged off. "(Kanra.)"Rosario thinks. She then turned foward to Kirito and thought about it for a while as a comicbook type thoughts went through her mind. "(If I become a hero on here,I'll probably be adored,known! Nate would never be able to beat that! And if I manage to defeat Tri=Edge. I'll like,be the godess of vidoe gaming,and then Nate would be; "Oh I'm sorry,please forgive me." And then I'll be,"NEVAH" while I kick him down the school stairs as all the student gamers chant my name!~)"Rosario thinks as once again she started thinking of unreal posibilities of what might end up happening. She looked up at Kirito and noded. "Yes! I accept the challenge! What kind of stuff are we gonna do? Some training or meditation? Will I have to level up faster?~"Rosario asks as she got closer and closer to Kirito with every question she asked.

Kirito smiled as Rosario agreed to joining the Guild. "Perfect... The first thing to do is, and this may sound strange, tell me what infuriates you. Like I said before, an Avatar is brought out by emotion, not actual gaming experience. The more connected you feel to your Player Character, the better, almost to the point of the two of you being the exact same person." Kirito walked around a little. "So, what exactly is it that infuriates you? Family? Friends? Or perhaps a boy you like?" Kirito asked obviously not minding about what Rosario might consider personal.

Rosario thought for a while and started to walk from side to side. "I hate people that are better than me,I hate people that are lower than me. I hate people that bearly do anything and manage to be better than me. I hate people who can easily do something that it takes me hard work to do!"Rosario says as she walked around. She stopped. "I hate layed back people,I hate people that get to close to me,I hate people that have better lives than me,I hate people that have more fans than me,I hate people that have more luck than me,I hate people that have not a single scar while I carry a massive burden of scars among my body..."Rosario says. She made fists and saw a table. She then in a fit of total anger,picked it up and rose it. "I HATE NATE RIVER!!!!"Rosario says as she threw the table into the air as it smashed into pieces against the wall. The pieces dissapeared into data as a new table appeared to replace it. Rosario breathed heavily as she was pretty angry. "Nate this! Nate that! Nate River this! Nate River that! Even my own mother likes him better than me!!! All of his fangirls drive me nuts!!! He's an ****** ****** **** ****** piece of **** ****!!!!!"

Kirito stared at Rosario's reaction to his simple question and noticed that everything she hated revolved around one person. "Hmmm, I see... You hate 'Nate River'." Kirito remained silent before smiling. "I just did some quick research on Nate River, you can tell me if I have the right person. Nate River, age 16, currently living in Shibuya Japan. Lives on his own and works at the local market on Sundays to support himself. Moved out after feeling guilty of his sister, Lucy River, falling unconscious within 'The World' and is constantly a victim by her boy friend, Brad Thompson. Does that description fit the person you're thinking of? Because if you ask me, his life sounds pretty bad, not as bad as other people I know, but still pretty bad."

Rosario instantly snapped at Kirito. "His sister can go to hell!!!!!"Rosario simply said. She then turned and faced Kirito,getting closer. "That kid has been nothing but trouble since the very day he came into my life. I was the top player in my school and the best well known as well until he came in!!!"Rosario says. She had pure anger in her eyes. "Ever since that brat came in everyone instantly forgot about my very excistance and payed attention to him. My friends are no longer friends,I only have 2 left of the trusted group I had that all went against me and joined him!!!! My own mother wished for my excistance to never be just so she could have him as a son!!! My brothers don't even remember me and constantly send letters to the b*st*rd!!! I can't spend a day in my school without hearing classmates praise him like a god!!! He pretends to not know yet he knows,he knows that this whole sister thing has only boosted up his popularity by 110% in all of f*cking Shibuya!!! I'm all alone,I'm forgotten and alone,all because of him!!!!"Rosario says as she slammed her foot down and a sudden surge of data pretty much exploded from her,glitching the place for a minute as she calmed down.

"If you put it that way..." Kirito crossed his arms and stared at Rosario. "Now that I know what gets you riled up, you can put Nate out of your mind for now." Kirito thought for a moment about Rosario's anger towards Nate. (While digging into Nate's information, I found his account on "The World". If she finds out that Kanra, the person she's been playing online with this entire time, is actually Nate, things aren't going to go down well in the real world.) Kirito then looked back up at Rosario. "You say that, you hate people who don't work for what they earn or people who don't hold scar on their bodies, right?" Kirito began opening a system folder containing a blurred picture of a young boy with black spiky hair. "This boy that you see here... There isn't anyone with more scars on his body than him. This... Is the only known picture of Ragna in the real world." The picture then vanished as Kirito looked down. "Ragna, he told me a few details of his past, ones that make Nate look like a peaceful person. I would tell you, but... I don't feel that it is my place. I still know close to nothing about him as a person, but... He is one of those people who knows what true pain is." Kirito looked around. "My apologies, it's gotten late and I'm afraid that I might have let you up. You should get some rest. Come back tomorrow and we'll go into more detail about awakening the Avatar, okay?" Kirito asked with a smile.

Rosario stared at Kirito and flipped her hair. "Whatever."Rosario says. She then thought about it. "This will make me stronger than that patethic escuse of human being,then I am very happy with it."Rosario says as she turned. "See ya tommorow. You better not dissapoint!"Rosario says as she walked away,and logged off as she did so.

Rose turned off the electronics and took off the headgear. She rubbed her eyes and stood up,walking to bed as everything was turned off. She threw herself on the bed and covered herself with the covers. "What a day. Dissapointing yet not as dissapointing at the same time. Especially after that horrid boat incident."Rose mutters. She then started to think for a while,about Nate. How the students and teachers adored him. How he was an example. How her own mother would replace her to have such a talented young boy to add into the family instead of her,who really didn't had anything special in her. Rose felt extremely angry. She screamed and pretty much slapped the lamp she had by her side of the bed onto the floor,glass smashing everywhere. Rose breathed heavily a bit and did her best to control her anger. "This world is such a filthy mess. Everyone deserves to die. Everyone is below me. Especially that boy. Nate River. He's the ultimate worse!"Rose says as she letted out another scream of frustruation.

(Sorry I hadn't posted in so long, I didn't quite have the right inspiration until now.)

Nate led on his bed with his arms behind his head, staring up at the ceiling and thinking of the days events. "Well, today was fun..." Nate exclaimed sarcastically. "... It was one of those days where everything is different and nothing makes sense. Anyway, I have to go to work tomorrow, since it's Sunday again." Nate sighed before turning over onto his side. "I still can't believe what happened on that boat..." Nate shook his head, trying to hide the fact that he felt embarrassed. "Well, I guess... It's not that I hate Rose, she's just so frustrating to up with most of the time. But, when I saw her sleeping face, snuggling up to me on that boat... I thought she looked cute." Nate led face down on his bed and groaned. "Man, why does my have to think of the stupidest things." Nate got under his covers and shut off the lights in his room. "I need to get some sleep, otherwise the boss will end up firing me." Nate shut his eyes and began to fall asleep.

-Next morning-

 

Rose woke up with last night's memory a haze. She just remembered being angry about Nate and trashing her room on and about,then passing out after ranting till 4 am in the morning. She satted up and rubbed her head, Both her lamps were smashed down on the floor,glass was everywhere. She was so sleepy however she didn't notice. She turned and stood up,instantly stepping on a piece of glass. She yelped and held her foot. She then glared down at the floor. "Stupid glassy floor!!!"Rose yelled. As if that would do anything. She was yelling to the FLOOR. Rose's eye twitched. She felt really uneasy. "(Last night,the thought of that son of a b*tch really pissed me off didn't it?)"Rose thought. She carefully walked to the hallway and picked up a broom and started to sweep the piece of glass out of her room. This small,two story house,with one room,one kitchen,one living room,one bathroom,one everything,was rented and payed for by her mother. She was expelled by her from teh family home,but for social security not cause a rant,she insisted for Rose to live on her own,and to not get close to her original home. "******* pieces of **** mother ******..."Rose muttered. She threw the piece in the trash and setted the broom away as she walked back upstairs. "First I'm outcasted by my own,then he shows up and takes my spotlight..I'll show him..."Rose says as she turned on her system and tv. She satted down and setted a bunch of energy drinks besides her. She opened one and drank from it as she got the head console on and logged into "The World".

Nate woke up in the morning with black markings under his eyes, showing that he obviously didn't get much sleep the night before. Without a word to himself, he got up and walked over to make himself a bowl of cereal. Eating his food in silence, he then put the bowl aside and left for the bathroom in order to take a shower. (This really sucks... I hate Sundays.) Nate walked out after ten minutes and got dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt. (Better get going.) Nate remembered to put his phone in his back pocket and lock the door before leaving his apartment. (I still have some time before my shift starts... I wonder what I should do?) The sudden thought of what happened yesterday popped into his head. "That really was embarrassing, I feel like I should clear that up for some reason." Nate began walking with his hands in his pockets, arriving outside of the Rocecrant home. "Well, here goes something." Nate walked up to the front door and knocked three times in succession and waited for someone to come greet him. (I hope things won't end up being troublesome.)

Rose growled as she heard a knock on the door. She got her headpiece off and stood up. "Give me a minute!"Rose says as she fixed her hair a bit,but it wouldn't help since her head as in the cutest bedhead possible. She walked downstairs and cleared her troath. She then peeked through the door's peephole only to see that despised guy again: Nate River. "What the **** does he want?"Rose asks herself,obviously annoyed that it was him out of all people. She unlocked her door and opened it as she stared at him with a somewhat dull yet a bit annoyed expression. She didn't even minded changing from her PJs,which was a spagetti strap shirt that was short enough to show her stomach,but long enough to cover. It was a bit baggy for it to be comfortable so it hanged a bit. Plus she wore pj shorts that matched. All panda themed. "What do you want Nate?"Rose asks,wanting to get back to her game.

Nate stared at Rose with a straight face, giving her a quick look up and down before meeting her gaze. "I wanted to talk about what happened yesterday. There's no point in me coming in because I have work soon, so I'll just say what I wanna and then I'll leave." Nate scratched the back of his head, looking away from Rose. "So about yesterday... Let's just forget about everything that happened. Only you and I know what happened on that boat and I'm sure you'd be happier without any weird rumours going around, so lets just say that it didn't happen, okay?" Nate looked back at Rose and stared at her for a few seconds before looking down. "Also, I'm sorry... I've noticed it lately, how much you hate me getting all the attention. Honestly... I'm sick of it... All I do is play games and people like me, it feels horrible." Rose narrowed her eyes as Nate's hands became fists. "They don't see me... They've never seen me... All they see is a Highschool boy who looks popular. The people I'm surrounded by don't know a single thing about me. So... If you want all the attention then you can have it." Nate looked back up at Rose, waiting for a response.

Rose heard Nate as he mentioned yesterday's event about them falling asleep on the boat and waking up all snuggled up and holding hands,and how they should forget about it. Rose slightly blushed and looked away. "Done and done."Rose says. She looked up and turned as she heard him complain about being loved by everyone. She made a fist as she heard him say that if she wanted the attention that she could have it. She then gritted her teeth a bit. "Don't you dare,insult me like that Nate!"Rose says as she slammed a fist on her door,making a loud THUN on it. "Have you any idea how hard it is to get attention?! To get that missing feeling of being looked after being nothing but a dissapoitment for most of your life?! People adore you and you simply throw that attention away! You shock me,Nate River! What I would give to have for a second what you get every single minute of your life!"Rose says,obviously angry and a bit sensitive about how he had mentioned that he didn't liked the attention. 

Nate stared at Rose before looking down. "... Sorry, I never even thought... I'm just not good with people." Nate sighed looking up at her with a sad face. "I can't talk with people the way you can... Whenever someone I'm unfamiliar shows up in front of me, I freeze up. I can't help it, people make me nervous... And then they notice it." Nate's facial expression tightened and he looked away. "They think I'm cute because I'm a nervous wreck. I hate it. You say that you can't stand me having attention, but honestly, I'm jealous of you for just being able to get by normally " Nate then looked down. "You have at least one persons attention... Mine. Ever since you first set a challenge for me back at the start of the year, I've been paying attention to you." Nate turned away, his face going a little red. "I was just hoping that one day... We could just be friends... I... " Nate then held back his words and started to walk. "I'm going to be late for work." He turned back for a second with his hand on his cheek to cover up his blush. "... Nice PJ's." Nate then bean walking again, with the thought of Rose stopping him to get more answers out of him in the back of his head. (Nah, why would she care about me? ... I'm nobody special.)

Rose stared. She made a fist and growled really loud. She then ran out of the house and grabbed Nate by the back collar of his shirt. "HOLD THE **** UP!"Rose says as she managed to find the streanght to lift him off the ground,even though he was taller than her. It was one of those streanght surges she would have when he adrenaline would get pumping. "Listen you! Just cause my opponent,you,has attention for me,doesn't mean that I won't stop here!"Rose says. She had somewhat a smirk on her face. "When we become friends will be either in Anime Club,or... the day that you steal a kiss from my lips and I accept it back."Rose says. She then suddenly grabbed him Shizuo style and rose him up. "AND SO FAR I DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING!"Rose yelled at the top of her lungs. Just then Aaron and Alex were walking by. "Hey Rose,doing excersise early in the morning I see."Aaron says. "SCREW YOU!"Rose yells as she pretty much threw Nate,having him crash against Alex and land on him. Aaron stared. Rose growled and walked back inside,slamming the door. Only to collapse dizzy cause of over doing it. Aaron looked down at Nate and Alex. "You alright,Alex,Nate?"Aaron says. Alex groaned as he opened his eyes and noticed that Nate's face and his were way close. Not enough for a kiss but enough to surely freak Nate out and for Alex to feel,well,comfortable. "Feeling comfortable,Nate-kun?~"

Nate's eyes were blurry from the throw, but as soon as they focussed, he had once again found himself on hell's doormat. "AHHH!!!" Nate jumped up immediately, backing away from Alex as far as he could. "Stay back foul demon!" Nate said, feeling pretty fearfull yet angry at the same time. After giving it a minute, Nate calmed down as he led his back against the door to Rose's house. "Man oh man, Rose sure is harsh." Aaron stared at Nate, tilting his head in confusion. Nate sighed and explained as simply as he could. "I wondered if it was possible for me and Rose to be friends, but she told me its impossible unless... She falls in love with me." Nate put his head down and chuckled. "That really is impossible... Why even make it an option if it can't be done?" Nate stood up, getting the feeling that Rose heard everything he said from the other side of the door, he then gave a smirk as he knocked the door again. "Hey Rose, I've got a challenge for you. If I can make us friends before the end of the year, then I win. If I can't, then you win and I'll be nothing more than a loser, just like you say I am, how's that?" Nate smirked as he knew that this was a challenge that even Rose wouldn't be able to turn down.

Rose opened the door a bit and stared at Nate. She glared a bit and then offered her hand for a shake as she had a smirk on her face. "That sounds legit. It's a deal,Nate River."Rose says. Alex and Aaron looked at eachother and then back at them. Alex whispered. "Bro you know how competitive she is,and how she is falling for Kanra. We also know how desperate she can get. They're meeting next weekend. If this goes on and they meet under this deal-"Alex says. Aaron shook his head and turned to Alex. "You're right. It was bad enough that they were meeting under circumstances of them not knowing they're meeting eachother. Now its a full on bet that can't be helped considering Rose is falling so hard for Kanra. This is not good at all..."Aaron muttered as he stared at Nate. "We should tell Nate-kun or Rose before they end up ripping eachother appart,or Rose does something she regrets,you know she takes things hard-"Alex says. "No no no if we are going to end up doing this we need to discuss about it as a group."Aaron says as he gulped a bit.

Nate turned around at Rose behind the door, holding her hand out to him to shake. "Alright then, a deal it is." Nate took Rose's hand slowly and gave it a single shake. "Next time you hold my hand, it won't be for a deal." Nate said smiling suddenly feeling like he had a fighting chance. He took his hand away and soon enough, turned to leave. "Alright, see you in school tomorrow." Nate said calmly, giving a slight wave as he left Rose's sight. "I'd better hurry, I think I spent too much time talking with Rose. I hope the boss doesn't kill me for this." Nate then began to hurry, making his way to the local convenience store for work.
