(This is a 1X1 Rp between me and Stardustblade358, no one else may post here.)

 

This is a Rp that will take place inside the "The World" and everyday life on the outside

 

~Background~

 

"The World R:2" Is a popular MMORPG in which almost everyone plays. The server of the original game called "The World" was destroyed in a fire in the year 2015 and by the eve of christmas, "The World R:2" was released. It is the year 2016 and now, something has appeared within "The World" once again, making people fall into Comas.

 

~Classes~

 

"The World R:2" has a variety of classes in which the player can choose for their PC (Player Character). Here are the Classes available along with their strengths and weaknesses.

 

Adept Rogue - A class which uses multiple weapons from other classes in different situations. Leveling up takes more time for this class and each weapon chosen must be learned seperately. To choose the classes you'd like, the player is given 4 points to spend on their classes and you start with the class you choose first. To gain the other Classes, you must go through a 'Job Extend' Quest.

 

Blade Brandier (1 Point) - A class which wields a katana or fast pace like sword, it's strength and speed is above average and is a well rounded class.

 

Edge Punisher (1 Point) - A class that uses a huge double handed sword to fight. They are slower than most other classes but are capable of dealing incredible damage at higher levels

 

Twin Blade (1 Point) - A class which uses twin swords, it is the fastest class and allows for easy combos. They also have great agility in order to attack quickly, leaving no chance for a counter attack

 

Flick Reaper (2 Point) - A class which excells in mid-range combat, usually using scythes, which is able to swipe away any on-coming attacks from other close range classes. This class can however be over powered by long range attacks easily

 

Lord Partizan (2 Point) - A class that wields large lances with incredible piercing power. Their physical strength and defence are very high and they can cause the most immediate damage. However, they are weak against magic attacks and their levels go up the slowest.

 

Tribal Grappler (2 Point) - This class uses their own fists as weapons, along with gloves or knuckledusters, having high HP and agility for powerful, fast hits. Their defence is very low and this means the player has to keep an eye on the battle at all times.

 

Macabre Dancer (3 Point) - A class which allows the player to use both light and dark magic for healing and attacking purposes. The player levels up quickly, wielding large bladed fans in each hand along with the power to cast status ailments.

 

Harvest Cleric (3 Point) - The player learns spells for both healing and supporting quickly in this class, but very little attacking magic or physical strength can be gained. They also have high HP and Defence, wielding staves for casting magic.

 

Shadow Warlock (3 Point) - The player learns spells for both Attacking and inflicting Status ailments quickly in this class, but very little

healing magic or physical strength can be gained. They also have high HP and Defence, wielding books known as Grimoires for casting magic.

 

Steam Gunner (3 Point) - This class depends on guns which are best used at long range, but can be used to knock enemies away at close range with the bayonet on the end of their guns, which isn't very effective at dealing damage. This class has the greatest level of physical strength in "The World" when firing from the actual gun. They also have high HP and Defence.

4) No quick grammar e.e. I'm going to 2 stab u = No!!!

Bio: Nate hasn't begun playing yet, but he has heard many good things from his class mates saying how "The World" is the greatest game to have ever existed. Nate is generally a quiet student, but everyone around him knows him as a top gamer who can complete any game. Although Nate is known as a great gamer, the title of 'greatest' in his class is undecided, as his class mate and rival gamer, Rose, constantly challenges him. Nate also lives at home alone, his parents send him money every month for rent and food in order for him to look after himself.

Reasons for playing "The World" : Nate heard it was a good game from his other class mates and decided to try it out.

Kanra remained frozen for a minute or two before saying anything. "Yeah, let's just go and play the game as it should be played, it should help me take my mind off things." Kanra then scratched behind his head and thought. (She seemed really surprised about my story, I wonder if she actually believes me.,, probably not. After all, who's ever heard of falling into a coma because of a game? I've made myself out to look like an idiot.) Kanra looked at Rosario with a sigh. "Sorry for dropping that story on you like that, I bet you don't believe that someone can fall into a coma because of a game. Man, I must be on a whole new level of stupid in your eyes now." Kanra said feeling a little depressed now. "Let's just get going to the area already."

Rosario stared. "Um,sure."Rosario says. The two dissapeared. They re-appeared in what seemed like a japanese mannor. "Here. There's lots of creatures here. We have fun here by beating down creatures."Rosario says. She looked up and smiled. She then saw he wasn't in the best mood. Her smile faded and looked to the side a bit. "Um...Ya know. I do bealive you."Rosario says trying to make him feel better. She gave him a smile and then cleared her troath. "Um,well,lets get going."Rosario says. She stood up and walked foward. She summoned her dual blades and smirked. "Lets go."Rosario says as they started to walk down the hallway. Everything was quiet as it was lighted by candles. "Careful around here too."Rosario says. Soon enough they heard a growl. They looked upfront to see monsters. Rosario smirked. "Alright. It's a ight space. But we can totally manage."Rosario says as she ran straight at it and started to slash around the monsters.

Kanra took out his sword and guarded against an attack. (She... believes me?) Kanra then gritted his teeth and forced the monster back. (Alright, it's time to stop moping around and start playing this game already.) Kanra's expression changed from sad to a smirk. "So, you really believe me? ... Arigato." Kanra said with a smile, feeling a little better than what he did before he then continued to fight against the monsters in the area. "Stop me if this sounds strange, but I think I can really be myself around you." Kanra said with a smile as he carried on to fight the monsters.

Rosario looked at Kanra and stared. "R-Really?"Rosario asks as she stared. She then blocked an attack and jumped back. She charged foward again and slashed down a monster."That's another one."Rosario says. She then turned as she saw a monster roar at her. Rosario stared and attacked. The monster attacked as Rosario dodged and tried to attack again. The monster slammed its arm against Rosario,having her slam against the wall. Rosario stared and quickly stood up once more. "It seems it's level is higher than mines. That's alright. I can beat it!"Rosario says as she ran towards the creature. She dodged attacks and slashed at the creature over and over. The creature slammed her down again. Rosario stood back up and ran towards the creature. She roared and slashed teh creature down as she felt go up another level. "Alright! Yes!"Rosario says smiling as she danced slightly.

Kanra looked at his hands slightly. "Hmm, seems like my level increased as well, I should be the same level as you soon." Kanra said with a smile, he looked around and noticed what was at the end of the path. "Hey, look! It's the beast statue for this area." Kanra ran over to the beast statue with the chest underneath it. "Hmmm, who should take the chest this time?" Kanra thought for a while but then turned at Rosario as she walked next to him. "What I said back there... I really ment it, just wanted to make sure you knew that." Kanra scratched behind his head. "Anyway, who's gunna take this chest?"

Rosario stared. She stood back and got her arms behind her back. "I took the last chest. This time it's yours Kanra."Rosario says. She stared at him abd blushed slightly as she scratched her cheek. "Playing with you in this game has been real changing. Very actually. You have showed me a whole other way to play games. Play them with fun and all. Ya know."Rosario says. She thinks for a while and rests against the wall. "It has been really nice meeting you. Really nice. You're a very nice human being. Or,RP charatcer."Rosario says with a chuckle. She thought for a while. "(If Tri-edge is responsible for the Comas...then...maybe we shouldn't face him...but...)"Rosario thinks. She shook her head. "(No. I'm gonna face him. I think.)"Rosario thinks as she looked over at Kanra. "Well go on,open the chest. There might be something real cool inside it."Rosario says smiling.

Kanra crossed his arms and shrugged. "Alright, thanks." Kanra walked over to the chest and kicked it open leaving a new weapon for him. "Alright, I get to equip a stronger weapon, that's pretty cool." Kanra turned back at Rosario and scratched the back of his head. "Well I've got school tomorrow, so I should probably get some rest before it gets too late." Kanra smiled before waving. "I had fun playing with you again, let's do it again tomorrow, okay?" Kanra smiled. "Bye!" Kanra then logged out of "The World".

 

Nate lifted his visor up and set it to one side. "I need some rest if I'm going to be able to make it to school tomorrow." Nate led down on his bed and stared at the ceiling. "Matt said to keep my face hidden otherwise people are going to start asking questions." Nate put his hand to his cheeck and felt the plaster that was over it, he then looked down at his hands and saw the bandages. "This really sucks..." Nate got out of bed and changed his clothes to a black long sleeved t-shirt and a pair of jeans before heading out the front door. "I'll go to the shop and get some take out." Nate said as he headed down the road after locking the door to his apartment.

Rosario stared smiling. "...bye...~"Rosario says as she logged out and dissapeared. A shadowy figure walked up from the shadows as it watched the two players dissapear. He smirked and chuckled. "...PK...PK..."

Rose took off the visor and setted it aside. She rubbed her eyes and held her head a bit. She quickly turned off the devices,stood up and stretched. She changed into her PJs and crawled onto bed before starting to mess with her cellphone. She stared at it for a while and setted the alarm for tommorow. "(So Kanra-Kun's sister was that one victim of the R1 "The World" game.)"Rose thinks. She messed with her phone and checked around her contacts. She sighed and setted the phone down. She turned away to the side. "(Kanra-kun is so different. Way different than Nate. He's nicer and better and actually plays for a reason. Sure he's not as good as moi. But that is pretty obvious.)"Rose thinks still with that very high-ego attitude of hers. She closed her eyes and snuggled into the pillow. "Wait till I tell Nate how much I leveled up today,he'll be so jelouse,I swear."Rose says to herself as she snuggled within the covers and fell asleep,only to think and dream of today's session of "The World".

Nate was walking around the streets until he found himself at the local take away, he came back out a few minutes later with a bag. "It's been six months now and Lucy's condition hasn't changed." Nate soon arrived back at his apartment, putting his food down on the table as soon as he got inside before eating it. "If I start thinking abot it too much, then I'll start having that nightmare again." Nate looked down as he took out some chop sticks and began eating the noodles and rice he bought. "Why?" Nate stopped eating and felt a tear run down his face. "Damn it, why can't I just forget?" Nate then began to recall the events of the day Lucy fell into a coma.

 

Nate was currently living with his parents and his second year at high school was about to start. "Nate, remember to tidy your room, you really need to look afer yourself better." Nate was in his bed room which was messy and filled with anime, manga and video games across the floor along with his dirty clothes. "I'll do it later, I'm busy right now." At this time, Nate's personality was very different, being a very competitive person and always losing his temper whenever he would lose. "Gahhhh! This stupid game is pissing me off!" Nate then heard a knock on the door, he sighed before replying. "Who is it?" "It's me Nee-san." The door then opened and Lucy, who was much shorter than Nate but shared the same hair colour as him, stepped in with a smile. "Nee-san, would you like to play "The World" with me? It's a very nice place and there are lots of fun people to talk to." "No way." Lucy's expression seemed sad. "Awww, why not?" Nate's eyes twitched as he began losing his temper. "You just don't get it do you?! What's the point in playing a game if you can't complete it?! It'll just keep you going for ever and ever and you won't acomplish anything!" Lucy stared at Nate and then pouted. "Fine, I'll just play by myself then." "Yeah, you go and do that, see if I care." Lucy then walked out feeling sad and went straight to her room. A few hours later, Nate was called down for dinner by his parents, he walked to Lucy's room with a sigh. "Hey! Come on, dinner's ready." Nate was about to walk off, but he didn't hear any foot steps coming from inside the room. "Lucy, come on!" Nate paused again before opening the door. "Lucy?" Nate saw lucy with a visor over her eyes and a controler in her hands. "Come on, it's time to quit playing that game already." Nate walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder and that's when he realised that she was actually unconciouss. "Lucy? Hey, Lucy! What's wrong? Wake up!" Nate stopped moving Lucy and froze dead still as his heart began to race, he turned at the computer screen and that's when he saw the Tri-Edge sign. The sign seemed to blaze across the screen and Nate couldn't help but stare at it. "What... is this?" The sign began to pulse and Nate's eyes widened as he felt like the sign was being etched into his brain, breaking him into a cold sweat. "I can... hear something..." Nate listened closely and heard a loud voice come from the computer that only he seemed to hear. "... KILL!!!" Nate completely paniced, holding his hands over his ears and screaming out, his parents came rushing to the room to find Nate on the ground screaming and Lucy in a coma, the computer screen was now black. "Nate, tell us now, what happened?" Nate was petrified with fear, remembering the Tri-Edge sign over and over again. "I don't know... I don't know..." "Nate, what's wrong?" Nate's face had a constant look of fear on it as he breathed in and out heavily. "I'm... I'm... I'm scared..."

 

Nate suddenly gasped and looked around the apartment, he had realised that he had tears down his face which he quickly wiped away. "I can't forget it... if I just stopped her that day..." Nate somehow managed to finish all of his dinner even though feeling depressed. "I've got to find Tri-Edge... I've got to pay him back for what he did... but the real person at fault, is me. Lucy falling into a coma had so much of an effect on me, I don't really remember how I used to act anymore. I've become quiet, helpful, self reliant and lonely..." Nate looked down gritting his teeth. ",,, just like Lucy. She was lonely and I, the selfish older brother... let her fall into that coma." Nate bit his lip to calm himself down but ended up punching the floor to let his anger out, he then calmed down a lot and cleaned up where he ate before going to bed. "I'll have to say sorry to Rose tomorrow... I need to be ready to be beaten up again too." Nate thought about how he got beaten by Brad and his gang. (It's not that I couldn't beat them, I just deserve the punishment they are giving me.) Nate said, getting under his covers and getting to sleep.

Rose slammed her phone before the alarm had a chance to sound. Rose satted up a bit and breathed a bit. "Another day."Rose says. She stared down a bit. She felt...different. Was she starting to see a different view on the world? Just maybe. She jumped up and quickly got dressed. She picked up her bags and walked downstairs as she picked a box of pocky from the table. She stopped for a second and turned to the family piture that was hanged on the living room wall. Her mom and her three brothers sorrounded her smiling as they were the center of the picture as they wore stunning tuxes with her mom wearing a dress. Rose simply stood there on the corner...bearly being noticed. Rose blinked and sighed. "Well,just have to deal with school,Nate,and then I can come back here and forget about my worries."Rose say as she closed her door and walked to the school while noming on her pocky.

Nate had woken up the next morning without making noise, he sat up and black markings had begun to show under his eyes. "I didn't get that much sleep again." Nate got out of his bed and took off his bandages and plasters before taking a shower. "What am I going to do?" Nate rubbed his eyes as he found himself getting dressed, his body still ached of pain from the bruises and cuts he got the night before. Nate decided to put some new bandages around his arms and a plaster on one cheeck as well as on his nose. "Alright, I'd better get going." Nate got his black jacket and put the hood up on it, taking his bag and leaving the apartment without eating. Nate had been walking for a while and didn't see Matt on his way to school that morning, so he just shrugged and walked all the way to school on his own. "Rose isn't going to listen to me, but I... I said some pretty bad things yesterday that I'm not proud of, so I need to fix it." As soon as Nate got inside the school, he took his hood down, but looked at the ground so no one would notice the plasters on his face. Nate arrived at his desk and waited for Rose to show up so he could apologise.

Rose walked around and soon enough got to school,where Aaron walked up to her,took a pocky and started to smoke it. "That Kanra guy is a pretty nice guy. Now I know why you like him."Aaron says. Rose blushed and smacked him. Aaron held his face. "GEEZ!"Aaron says as he saw Rose walk into the school. Aaron followed carefully behind her. "Nate already arrived,he's at his seat."Aaron says as he smoked the pocky. "Good to know. Thanks for telling me."Rose says as she flipped her hair and somewhat got ready to face Nate and brag about her leveling up. "Hey,careful. Could you atleast go easy on Nate?The poor guy got enough of you beating him up yesterday."Aaron says,restraining from mentioning anything from the gang beat up. "Whatever."Rose says. She stood at the door of the classroom and saw him seating down with his hood on his head,covering his face. She walked up behind him and set her bag down. "Hello Nate~"Rose says a sshe satted down and tilted foward. "Guess what? I leveled myself way up than I was before in "The world"."Rose says smirking.

Nate froze as he realised that Rose was now behind him and without replying to her, he got to his feet. "Rose Rocecrant..." Rose seemed to freeze up as it looked like Nate was about to do something when he suddenly turned to her and bowed his head. "I'm... sorry... about what I said yesterday... it was uncalled for." The plasters on his face were no visible to Rose as Nate lifted his head back up and sat back down, looking down at his desk. "I said a couple of things that I regret saying and I wanted to let you know that... I'm sorry." Nate said as he remained looking down at his desk. "If you're ever going to hit me again, then... I won't stop you."

Rose stared. He was actually apologizing?! She could see plasters on his face. But not much. Rose stared at him and then her eyes narrowed. "H-Hey,what..."Rose says. She really didn't knew what to say. She had a slight blush of embaressment. He did the right thing,and she deserved the apology. But she didn't knew what to respond back with...was this like him? "H-Hey! How care you apologize?!"Rose asks. She stared at him just looking down. Rose grabbed him by the sweater. "Answer me,whay are you apologizing?! Is this sime kind of trick to make me feel weak against you?! Cause if it is i-it won't work!"Rose says. She was not used to this apologizing from Nate at all. He had never apologized. Neither of them had ever apologized to eachother. "Are you listening?!"Rose asks as she shook him by the sweater. His hood fell and Rose's eyes widened. She could see his entire face was covered in plasters and bruises. "I-I..."Rose says. The girls of the class gasped in horror. Rose stared and let him go still in a bit of shock. "(Did I did that to him...?)"Rose thinks. She stared and backed away. "Um...s-sorry..."Rose says as she was to pride to apologize correctly and to shocked to know what to say. She stared and suddenly ran out the room. Aaron stared. "Rose."Aaron says as he ran after her.

Nate looked to where Rose ran out of the class for a while before looking back down. "I guess... this means that we're even." Nate said to himself as he looked down some more, he then began to get surrounded by people in the class. "Nate, what happened to you?" "Are all of those wounds really from Rose yesterday?" "Does it hurt?" Nate looked down and kept quiet. "Please... will you all leave me alone for a while." Everyone around seemed a little surprised and their expressions became saddened as they listened to him, leaving him alone. (I said sorry... and she thinks it's a trick.) Nate put his head down against the desk and shut his eyes, gritting his teeth to stop himself from crying. (I hate this, I feel so pathetic.)

Aaron walked around. "Rose? Rose!"Aaron says as he walked around. He then saw a box of Pocky by the girl's bathroom. He punched on the door. "Rose get out of there!"Aaron says. Silence. Aaron's eyes narrowed and slammed his hand onto the door. "Rose,I saw what happened. You need to get out there and accept that apology. He said sorry. You need to say it back. It's the right thing to do."Aaron says. Silence. Aaron got angry. "Rose give up your damn pride and face Nate!"Aaron says as he made a fist. Silence. He slammed the door opened and walked around. She wasn't there,and in neither of the stalls. "What the hell?"Aaron asks. He walked up and looked up to see the window wide open and shoe marks on the stall's walls. "Sh*t. She did not."Aaron says as he stared and thought if it was possible. He sighed and walked out. he picked up the empty box and walked back to the classroom. He stared at Nate and how everyone was worried for him. Some of the girls were starting to talk about Rose. A few of what they would do when they next saw her. Aaron stared and started to mutter. "Please forgive her...she's not the easiest to deal with...you've got to...understand..."Aaron muttered. He was pretty much the only one who was still on her side. Probably because he's the only one who knew Rose's deep problems as childhood friends.

Nate looked over at Aaron and nodded. "Mmmm, I understand..." Nate looked back down with a sigh, he then began to speak while making sure to keep his voice down. "I make it look like to her that I don't care, but I think I know what type of person she is... I used to be like that one time. I let my pride get the better of me and I let someone close to me down." Nate sighed again and looked out his window. "I must be really pathetic in her eyes. To her, I'm always in the way, an obstacle and she doesn't see me as anything other than that. Not a rival or a even a friend, just something in the way." Nate stared out the window before turning back at Aaron. "I've been thinking a lot lately, of how I've been selfish. I've only been thinking about me and my own problems, but now I feel like they don't matter anymore." Nate's expression became a little more serious. "I've noticed that Rose has been telling me about how she's doing on games because she thinks of me as a rival, but I think all she wants from me is to accept her or maybe that's just some idea I came up with from my depression." Nate tought for a while, but his seriousness remained on his face. "Tell me, do you think that Rose would be better off if I vanished from this world?"

Aaron stared. He thought for a while and breathed. "I really...don't know."Aaron says as he rested against the wall. "You kind of actually gave her reason."Aaron says. he shrugged. "She has always felt useless as her three brothers made their single mother prouder than ever before. When she arrived into the picture her mother expected the same for her,but Rose wasn't all she expected. Rose was...averge. Rose started video games to try to become the best,but,when she met you,all of that kind of went off to a whole new level."Aaron says as he got his hands in his pockets. "You gave her a reason to not give up,to beat you,to keep going longer than you. That reason set herself a goal to beat you at all cost,and right now,that's the only thing she's living for...atleast for now,and it has been like that for the past few years."Aaron says. He walked around. "But she's also taken this pride that has changed her drastically. This attitude to make herself a disguise that she's strong and not afraid,when she's actually still the same little girl who would do anything to gain her mother's attention."Aaron says. He rubbed the back of his neck and looked at Nate. "That's for you to decide,I guess."Aaron says as he picked up her bag. "I'll take care of this. She kind of escaped through the girl's bathroom's window."Aaron says.

Nate looked at Aaron and nodded. "I guess I can't really say anything else." Nate noticed the teacher walk in to begin the lesson. (Another day... another day of pain.) Nate closed one eye as he felt his body in some more pain. "Alrigh everyone, settle down, it's time for class to begin. As you all know, the winter holidays are almost here and we're all getting ready for the school's winter festival. I am expecting all of you to help out this year, so do your best everyone!" Nate noticed how everyone seemed energetic about the upcoming festival, but he remained quiet to himself and thought about what Aaron had sad abou Rose. (It's funny in a way, the way Aaron described her, Rose was the quiet one once just like how I was the loud one. It's as if someone decided to swap our personalities. If only that were true, there would be a way out, but there is no way out. I'm like this because of my stupidity.) Nate's expression was very blank and he didn't seem to care about his surroundings, but his hand began to tighten into a fist. (Rose... you are... so annoying!)

Rose walked back home in a hurry. She entered her home and slammed the door closed. She ran upstairs and entered her room,slamming it close and locking it. Sh ethen rested down as she slided down the door and satted on the floor. "(I did that...?I hurt him that badly? But-But-I didn't kicked or punched that hard...did I? I...I...)"Rose thinks as she looked down and held her head. She then carefully looked up and stared at "The World" game. She felt she needed to return for her classes' sake. But she had an unbearable urge to play the game. As always she would have this urge,as a gamer,to play a game instead of doing the responsible things first. Like going to school...but she thought today might be a good exeption. "Maybe "The World" will clear my mind."Rose says. She crawled over to the game and turned the device on. She got the visor on and grabbed the controler. She smiled as she looged onto "The World" and started to play the game.

Nate had sat through his morning lessons quietly before leaving the class when it was time for dinner. "I've really messed things up." "Nate." Nate looked down the corridor to see Matt stood at there with his arms crossed and a serious expression on his face. "Come on, we need to talk." Nate was a little surprised and simply, the two then found themselves at their usual spot on the roof. "So, are you going to tell me what's going on?" "What are you talking about?" "What I'm talking about is Rose running off home while you're sat sulking in your seat, did you even say sorry?" "Of course I did..." Matt sighed. "Let me guess, she saw your face?" Nate nodded. "I see, she doesn't know anything about you and Brad's gang, so she assumed that all of the cuts and bruises were from her yesterday." Matt dropped his bag on the ground and began to crack his knuckles. "Nate, fight me." "What?! Are you insane?!" Matt then punched Nate in the gut. "Come on, I want to see how strong you are, just how much you're holding back." Nate didn't fight back, but the wind was forced out of him by Matt's punch. "I know for a fact that you could have beaten Brad and his gang, but you're so pathetic that you let them beat you. Stop sulking over Lucy and let it go." Nate's eyes widened. "As if you know anything!" Nate then punched Matt back and he fell back before smirking. "There we go, there's that fighting spirit." "Shut up! You don't know anything about Lucy, about me!" Nate kicked the back of Matt's leg, causing him to lose balance and that's when Nate punched him to the ground. "You don't know... anything..." Nate was now breathing heavily and Matt was on the ground winded, but neither of them had any visible signs of being beaten up. "There, now I know for sure that you could have beaten Brad, but instead you let him beat you because you felt like it was your punishment for letting Lucy fall into a coma." Nate's eyes widened as he stared at Matt, but he didn't attack. "Nate, listen to me. You've got to stop thinking you're the worst person out there because of that one incident. For the last year, you've been a role model student and a fantastic gamer who loves to play, remember those things because that's who you really are. You're not a depressed teen age boy who's waiting for his punishment, just open your eyes already." Matt began to get back to his feet and held his leg in pain slightly from where Nate kicked it. "Man, you may not look it, but you pack quite the bit of power in you." Nate smiled a little. "When I was little, I played this fighting game and thought it would be cool if I could do that, so I took martial arts lessons." "You've never told me that before." "I was a different person back then, I don't fight so that I can distance myself from that person I used to be." "Well, maybe you shouldn't be. Be the person you once were and the person you are now. You'll see a lot more things in life if you just do that." Nate then sat down on the ground with a sigh and took out a can of coke as usual. "Yeah maybe." "So, we cooled off a little now?" Nate nodded and Matt sighed as he led back. "Good, because I don't think I can take anymore of your hits, haha."

Rosario ran around the ice-cave dungeon as she slashed around monsters. She jumped back and threw her blades. They stabbed the monsters and she ran foward again. She jumped and landed on the monster as she grabbed her blades and stabbed the monster like crazy. She slashed it and jumped away as it disentrigated. She looked up and stared at the sky a bit. It all seemed so real. "I wish I could switch worlds. Rosario could live in the real world,and I could stay here forever."Rosario muttered as she started to walk through the dungeoun. "No worries of school,or homework,or papers,or grades,or test,or mom... Just worrying about being stronger on your own way."Rosario says as she stared and sughed. "Yeah,that'll be the day."Rosario says. She heard some noise and looked up. She got her blades ready. "That is a pretty good dream. To bad it can't become real,atleast,in the way you want it can't."Says a voice as a player walked up. "Hm? Oh hello. Who are you?"Rosario asks curious. "They call me Reik. I am what you can say a prestige here. Or better yet..."Reik says. He smirked. "PK." Rosario's eyes narrowed. "PlayerKiller."Rosario says. "Yup. Desure. I've heard around you're planning on becoming the best gamer in the game."Reik says as he walked around. Rosario stared and got her blades ready. Reik smirked and rose his two giant swords. "Just fighting monsters is not enough. Player VS Player is where the real points are."

"So Nate, how is "The World" so far? It's pretty good, right?" Nate stared at Matt as he was still led down on the ground, he sighed and drank more of his coke. "It's better than what I thought it would be." "Is that because of a certain player?" Matt said with a smile, Nate turned away with a slight blush. "Maybe..." "Oh come on, I'm only joking around here. Although, she seemed to get along with you really well, I'm almost jealous. Now you have people worshipping you in and out of the gaming world." "I really wish you wouldn't use the word 'worship' in a sentence like that." Matt laughed at Nate. "Okay, I'm sorry, haha. It's just that... you seem happier lately, besides what happened in class today that is." Nate looked down and thought of his conversations with Rosario. "Mmmm, maybe I am feeling a little better, but then I come to school and have Rose to deal with." "Yeah, I feel sorry for you. I hope we don't meet her in "The World" on accident, otherwise we'll just get her bragging about being a higher level." "Yeah..." Matt then sat up and slammed his two hands against each other. "I just got a briliant idea." "You and your briliant ideas, what is it this time?" Matt paused for a second and suddenly scratched the back of his head with a smile. "I forgot." "But you only just thought of it!" Nate then sighed. "Whatever, it was probably just another stupid idea anyway." "Yeah, probably." Matt's smile then disappeared as he took out his phone. "Texting someone?" "Yeah, I thought I would see if my parents are going to be home tonight." Matt said with a smile, he looked through his contacts and found Aaron's number, he then sent him a text without telling Nate.

 

"Hey, I wanted to know something from you. That player that I met yesterday on "The World" named Rosario, who is she? I'm sure that it's someone who goes to our school, so it should be no problem for you to tell me, right?"

Aaron smoked his pocky as he held Rose's bag. He stared at it. "I wonder what's in here."Aaron says. He was about to take a peek when he received a text. He took out his phone and stared. It was from Matt. He raised an eyebrow and started to text back. 'I was wondering the same about that Kanra guy you were hanging out with. Though,I thought you'd already figured it out by now with Rosario's attittude. Rosario is actually Rose. owo' Aaron then sent the text and smoked on the pocky. "She's probably on right now. Ever since she got that game and met that Kanra player she's been playing that game non-stop."Aaron says as he smoked the pocky.

Rosario blocked an attack from Reik. Reik smirked and slammed down on Rosario. Rosario couldn't block the massive power and was sent flying back. Rosario fell down and dropped her blades. Reik smirked and laughed. He slammed his swords down at her. Rosario jumped back and grabbed her blades. She attacked at him but once again Reik slammed his blades towards Rosario. With one blade he slammed her swords away. He rose the other and laughed., Rosario's eyes widen and yelped as Reik slashed his blade down on her. Rosario fell down as everything went black and white for her. Reik smirked. "You're pretty fun,I'll just PK you until you're all out of EXP left. Hahaha."Reik says as he waited and Rosario clenched her fist and glared.

Matt stared at his text with wide eyes. (No way...) Nate leaned forward. "Hey, something wrong?" "No, nothing really, I just gotta cook my own food tonight." "Oh I see." Nate said as he drank some more of his can before setting it to one side, Matt then hamered on the buttons. 'Where are you right now? We have to talk!' Matt then got up and picked up his bag. "You leaving?" "Uhhh, yeah, I just remembered I have to run an errand." "You'd better get to it then." Matt nodded and ran off. (I don't believe it, this strange person that Nate has been talking about all this time... was Rose?!) Matt ran out to the front of the school, looking for Aaron.
