**Also note that You do not really need to play Generations. This continues from number 2. So if the rumours are right and this starts from the very beginning Of Naruto all the way to the end then you can skip out on generations.

Darui Playable + Mid-Combo Awakenings!

I have alot of hype for this game...AND I have some of my own ideas as well....

 

First, let's get everything we already know about UNS3 so far out of the way

• Story Mode focuses on Fourth Shinobi World War and includes Nine-Tails Attack / Minato VS Masked Man scenario
• The return of Boss Battles (as seen with Third Hokage VS Kurama, The Nine-Tailed Fox)
• Substitution Bar is back from UNSG
• Awakenings can be activated at the start of battles (although it causes fatigue for some characters, yet it implements more strategy, as well)
• Character customization, such as Awakened Characters getting new attacks, speeds, and jutsus, have been confirmed. Also, Namco is collecting personalization ideas from fans and are formulating potential implementations as development progresses.
• New jutsus and new character outfits.
• No Part 1 characters will return. However, new characters will be added, and it is confirmed that the roster in general will be the biggest in the series, even bigger than UNSG.

Anyways, now that that's outta the way, let's get to brass tax...there's only a couple things here, but still, I think they'll improve some flaws to the overall series.

Roster Fixes / Organization: The main thing I want to say is this -- I noticed that in UNSG, the character arrangement was like in DBZBT3, where there certain characters that have more than one "form" (i.e. Three Part II Narutos (Four Tails, Sage, Five Kage Summit) and Three Part II Sasukes (Heibi, Susano'o, Taka)). There were also different "versions" of the same character that either separated from a different arc or story point (but not like the Narutos and Sasukes) or gave them different jutsus. I say we take a page out of Raging Blast's book and allow ourselves to customize moves so we don't need to have roster slots filled so easily. Also, we should apply the costumes rule too (i.e. one Sasuke, four outfits (First Heibi Outfit, Second Heibi Outfit, Susano'o Outfit, Taka Outfit))

 

Customization: As I said, we should be able to customize our jutsus. Also, we should be able to customize other things, like Awakenings. (i.e. Having Naruto be able to enter Four-Tails Mode, Six Tails Mode, Sage Mode or Nine-Tails Chakra Mode based on which is selected pre-battle)

All I want is a decent free-roam. The likes of Broken Bonds. I want to be able to run around and do cool shiz. I don't want to have to open the menu to select missions, I want to be a ninja and run there; ninja style!

The new issue of Shonen Jump has released a brand new scan for Storm 3! This one shows that there will be a "Hack n Slash" feature (EX: Dynasty Warriors),where players fight multiple enemies at once, such as Sasuke fighting the samurai in Story mode. Second, at the bottom left there's a picture showing what apparently is, "The Ultimate Decision",where players choose what path to walk in Adventure mode.

 

I'm so glad CC2 is implementing new ideas for this game,it shows they're really working hard to give Naruto fans the best Storm experience possible keep it up guys!! I'm curious to learn more about this Ultimate Decision and how it'll work in the game.

 

 

Also as a reminder, NUNS3 will appear at TGS with the Nine Tailed Fox demo and a video, hopefully a new trailer.

You know The CC2 Team seperated into 2, one group handled Generations, and the other was working on Storm 3. They both started working since they finished Asura's Wrath and Storm 2, So by now they are probably near finishing the game. I'd say Early 2013 or Mid 2013 for it to release.
