This was shown to me when I first started taking film classes, and I can remember my first reaction being "What the hell.......?" Moreover, the Prof. didn't give us any meaning to it, allowing us to interpret it for ourselves. After a while, I began to like it more and more, and the freedom as to how to view it is one of the reasons of that.

 

I want to show it to see what the reaction of other people are to it, and what they might think of it.

My own personal take is that it's discussing apathy and consumerism. I could do a shot-by-shot analysis to back this up, but I doubt anyone would want to read it.

 

Ironically, the only thing I can't find a satisfactory answer to is the title drop, which occurs after the overhead voice asks "What is good?"
