In the beginning, all concepts and rules of the world seemed explainable and simple, and both science and magic had been known to our world and existed in harmony. Until one day, mysterious wormholes appeared around the world, which now acts as a gateway into another universe much like our own except where evil and chaos mostly reigns supreme, and the government has become an anarchy and the police forces to scared to do anything. Some brave (or reckless) souls have chosen to explore this new realm, and people from the other universe vice versa. It is later discovered that all the people from the newly discovered realm have an opposite to them in our world, and to those of us who discover our opposites would refer to them as their "Hantai Soku" (meaning opposite soul in Japanese).

The rp will start with the beggining of the wormholes appearing. Why have the worm holes appeared? What are the Hantai Soku's intentions? The reason for the wormholes have not been discovered, and there may never be a straight forward answer for the Hantai Soku's, as they all have their own agendas.

 

Rules:

•Basic RP rules, no god modding, controlling other people's characters without permission or killing off other people's characters without permission

•When you make your character sheets, if you want a Hantai Soku for your character, you must make a character sheet for both your main character and their Hantai Soku. The first character sheet should be the one you'll consider your main character, and the second will be the Hantai Soku, should you choose to have one. 

•When making your Hantai Soku, it is recommended that you make him/her as polar opposite to your main character as possible. From personality, to the color of their clothes. The more polar opposite, the better. And your main character doesn't have to be good, it can be evil if you choose

•To avoid confusion, the Hantai Soku should probably have a different name then your main character, unless you have a creative solution to this

•So our characters aren't seperately for most of the Rp, everyone will be in the same unnamed town, so we will all at least encounter each other sooner and at least once

•To show that you have read the rules, put your favorite food at the bottom of the sign up sheets.

Bio: straight A student in his Sophomore year, he was accepted into a police accademy where he has mastered his fire/lightning magic and has learned to combine it with his ranged weapons that he prefers to use. One of the wormholes appeared near the academy, and school was let out on account of the chaos that has been beginning to happen.

 

Leon's Hantai Soku:

Weapon (if applicable): A katana through which he combines his magic with

Abilities (if applicable): Specializes in water/ice magic

Alignment: Evil

Bio: Left on the streets to die when he was just a baby, a criminal mastermind took him under his wing to raise as his own. He grew up learning how to take whatever he wanted right under people's noses, and became a notorious and skilled thief. Unfortuneatly his guardian was killed while doing a job, and at 16, Exavier is once again on his own, making money by working for other criminals. A wormhole has also mysteriously appeared near his city, and is considering whether or not to enter it.

"Clearly, you do not know who you're talking to." said Naja as he called on a snake spirit. Naja launched the snake spirit to cut off Ragnarok and changed himself into a blue snake/human hybrid creature and pulled two swords from his back. "My name is Naja, and i am the number one assassin for my boss......Born dead, given new life and power beyond what i could comprehend....I AM THE ULTIMATE SOLDIER!" shouted Naja.

 

(Jason)

 

"Yeah right, and i'm the king of England." said Jason sarcastically. Jason then called on his gryphon spirit and was soon covered in gryphon themed armor. "Now, believe me, i've been helping the cops in this stuff, so i'm pretty sure i can take an assassin." said Jason as he got into his fighting stance.

Zephyr sat in his room. He just came back from windsurfing when a wormhole appeared and everyone had to leave the beach. He thought about what happened as he watched the news. The news was quincidently talking about the wormholes and rumors people were telling.

"Interesting, if its true, the people will need someone out there to protect them if anyone came through." Zephyr said then left to roam the city.

Ragnarok smiled, a vein popping from his head, "For an assassin, you sure are LOUD and VISABLE!!" he grabbed Naja's face, and throws him to Jason, "I am in no mood, go play with the griffin guy." Ragnarok simply turns back around and continue's walking back in the direction of where he was going.

Terra was getting bored. "You know, that other world would probably be kinda entertaining." He smirked and headed to a wormhole.

 

As zephyr was walking around he heard someone yelling, 'I AM THE ULTIMATE SOLDIER!'. He peeked around a building and saw three people up the road. 'Ill just stay back till they need help.'

(Naja)

 

Naja landed near Jason and slowly got up. "Sheesh, what's his problem?" asked Naja.

 

(Jason)

 

"Don't ask." said Jason. "So, we fighting or what?" asked Jason.

 

(Naja)

 

"Dose this answer your question?" asked Naja as he swung one of his swords at Jason. Jason and Naja looked evenly matched for some reason. Naja was using his sword skills while Jason was using his martial arts and free-running skills to attack and dodge.

 

(Jason)

 

"Man, and i said today wasn't going to be eventful." said Jason as he blocked one of Naja's attacks and kicked him in the gut.

Zephyr stared and awed at the greatly even sided battle. He wasn't sure who'd win. 'What a show, glad I can out to watch' he thought to himself.

Eugene had decided to go for a walk. While he was walking, he pondered to himself, I wonder if all of the wormholes out there are somehow connected to a real world. Nah, it couldn't be, could it? He kept trying to convince himself that there was another world out there waiting to be discovered when he saw two people fighting. Hmph, this might be interesting to watch, I'll make sure to stay far enough out of their sight so that I won't be seen. So Eugene started to spectate.

Mitch had been training for a hour or so in the gym. Alright, time to stop for today. He left the gym and started walking toward his house when he saw a wormhole. Mitch's curiosity kicked in, and he decided to go check it out. He arrived at a city, Alright, it's time to do some reconoissance. And so he did.

Terra Found a worm hole im went to the other side. We wound up at a beach.... Zephyr's beach!

He was wandering the new world that had befallen him and his own world. He see's a child around the corner and decides to ask him if anyone is around. "Excuse me, sir. May I ask your name, and to where I may be.?" Hikari tapped Zephyr's shoulder, in hoping he could get some answers.

He was just to annoyed today, he was just to tired of everything, as well as everyone. "Tch! That bastard... acting like he knows me through my attitude... no one will never understand me." he slowly continued to walk in the direction he had chosen, hoping he could find what he's looking for.

Zephyr look over his shoulder, " umm.. downtown?" The thought of someone not knowing were there at confused him. ' Man this guy has some serious issues' he thought to himself.

"I see. Well, I'm Hikari, it's a pleasure to meet you." He smiled, holding his white book and fixing his glasses, that way he could see better. "What are you looking at?" he turns the corner like Zephyr, "Oh! It's his alternate self facing himself. This should be interesting." he sat back and watched, fixing his glasses again.

Jason struck Naja with enough force to send him staggering back. "Well, it seems that strength alone won't decide this battle....so let's let skill decide." said Jason as he called on his gryphon spirit.

"I couldn't agree more." said Naja as he summoned his snake spirit. Jason and Naja launched their spirits at each other, then continued their fight as well.

"Spirit Sword!" called Jason. A sword then suddenly appeared in Jason's hand. "I guess we're both armed now." said Jason as he clashed swords with Naja.

" His do what now? " is all zephyr had to say.

[Hikari]

 

"His alternate self. Everyone has one, whether it be completely opposite, or very Identical. Which in fact, your alternate self is probably roaming around somewhere as we speak!" Hikari laughed, still watching the fight between the two people before him, then for a minute or so, he opens his white book.

" What about yours" Zephyr asked.

 

Terra Continued to roam around, he eventually reached the same city zephyr was at.

Hikari

 

"I'm not to sure... but I'm sure he will be hard headed and i'll tempered, the complete opposite of me." Hikari smiled as his book flashed with light, transforming into a single pistol. "looks like I need to put this back into action soon, or it may rust!" He laughed as he looked into the sky.

Zephyr jumped a little, He turned around trying to stay on guard trying to make sure he wasn't the one to get shot.

Jason delivered two powerful kicks to Naja's head and gut, sending him into a wall.

"Nice shot." said Naja as he ran at Jason again.

"If ya like that, you'll love this." said Jason as he delivered a roundhouse kick to Naja's head, sending him crashing through a building. "And that's how we gryphon fighters do it." said Jason.

Naja came out of the hole in the wall, but didn't look furious, he look impresses. "Well, looks like i'll have to try harder to recruit you, your gonna be a worthy opponent, and a valuable ally should you join me." said Naja as he walked off.

Haru was walking to her school when she came up on a fight between two random men. "What did you say to me?" one of the men asked. "What are you going to do?" the other man asked. "Um..." Haru interrupted. "What little girl? Are you going to try and stop us two?" One man asked. "Just can you two kinda...stop fighting?" she asked. "Are you going to make us?" the men asked. "I am." Haru's friend, Toko came up from nowhere. "Toko!" Haru exclaimed. "I'll take care of them rabbit girl." Toko said to her about the men. After three minuets of throwing punches, the men learned their lesson. "I told you to stop calling me rabbit girl." Haru complained. You see, Toko like to make jokes about what zodiac year you are born in, she was born in the year of the tiger, so it is funny for her. "Okay, today I will not call you rabbit girl any more." Toko laughed. "You just did!" Haru complained. The topic was ignored by both of them. "Do you like high school?" Toko asked. Toko was two grades ahead of her. "Is okay, the art classes are a little harder though." Haru told to Toko. As soon as the stop light turned red, they both ran across the road. Across the road and a bit down, was the school. When Haru walked into the school she prepared for another most likely bad day. As soon as Haru walked in, her usual group of bullies were in front of her face. Toko left as the main bully, Andrew called her name. Haru walked to her green, ugly locker and dialed the combination. "19,5,21." Haru whispered to herself. Andrew walked over too her locker. "Haru, you should not be here, you should not exist, you have no meaning in anyone's life. You were put in that orphanage for you o die. You have no destiny." he whispered the words into Haru's ear. Haru balled her hands up in fist. "I will know my meaning." she reminded to herself, reaching for her literature book. As soon as she held the book in her hand, the power went out.

Suki threw her daggers onto a target and one landed bullseye while the other one missed. "What dose it take to get two daggers in a bullseye?" she thought. Suki was sitting in her abandon home that she moved into after her situation with her ability. "Agg I am soooo bored." Suki complained, throwing her daggers again.

as he continued walking for the longest time, he walked by a highschool, when suddenly he see's the power go out. "The hell?" he looked around, not seeing anything wrong, he continues walking, "Must suck for them, not able to be able to teach without power." He mumbled to himself as he continued to travel.

"Hey! What happened to the power!?" Everyone yelled an freaked out. "Did I just do that?" Haru thought. "Okay! Okay! Everyone outside!" the principal yelled. As soon as everyone got outside. After about an hour the power did not turn on . Everyone got out of school. Haru sighed walking back, but was very happy. On her way out she saw someone. "Excuse me!" Haru ran up to the boy. He turned to the voice that called out to him, then realized it was a girl running up to him. "Hmm?" he stopped, waiting t'ill she caught up to him, "What do you wan't little girl." his anger had not settled, and won't settle for anytime soon. His temper did cool down though, but not enough to say he was going to be nice anytime soon.
