In the beginning, all concepts and rules of the world seemed explainable and simple, and both science and magic had been known to our world and existed in harmony. Until one day, mysterious wormholes appeared around the world, which now acts as a gateway into another universe much like our own except where evil and chaos mostly reigns supreme, and the government has become an anarchy and the police forces to scared to do anything. Some brave (or reckless) souls have chosen to explore this new realm, and people from the other universe vice versa. It is later discovered that all the people from the newly discovered realm have an opposite to them in our world, and to those of us who discover our opposites would refer to them as their "Hantai Soku" (meaning opposite soul in Japanese).

The rp will start with the beggining of the wormholes appearing. Why have the worm holes appeared? What are the Hantai Soku's intentions? The reason for the wormholes have not been discovered, and there may never be a straight forward answer for the Hantai Soku's, as they all have their own agendas.

 

Rules:

•Basic RP rules, no god modding, controlling other people's characters without permission or killing off other people's characters without permission

•When you make your character sheets, if you want a Hantai Soku for your character, you must make a character sheet for both your main character and their Hantai Soku. The first character sheet should be the one you'll consider your main character, and the second will be the Hantai Soku, should you choose to have one. 

•When making your Hantai Soku, it is recommended that you make him/her as polar opposite to your main character as possible. From personality, to the color of their clothes. The more polar opposite, the better. And your main character doesn't have to be good, it can be evil if you choose

•To avoid confusion, the Hantai Soku should probably have a different name then your main character, unless you have a creative solution to this

•So our characters aren't seperately for most of the Rp, everyone will be in the same unnamed town, so we will all at least encounter each other sooner and at least once

•To show that you have read the rules, put your favorite food at the bottom of the sign up sheets.

Bio: straight A student in his Sophomore year, he was accepted into a police accademy where he has mastered his fire/lightning magic and has learned to combine it with his ranged weapons that he prefers to use. One of the wormholes appeared near the academy, and school was let out on account of the chaos that has been beginning to happen.

 

Leon's Hantai Soku:

Name: Exavier Deville

Age: 16

Appearance:

Weapon (if applicable): A katana through which he combines his magic with

Abilities (if applicable): Specializes in water/ice magic

Alignment: Evil

Bio: Left on the streets to die when he was just a baby, a criminal mastermind took him under his wing to raise as his own. He grew up learning how to take whatever he wanted right under people's noses, and became a notorious and skilled thief. Unfortuneatly his guardian was killed while doing a job, and at 16, Exavier is once again on his own, making money by working for other criminals. A wormhole has also mysteriously appeared near his city, and is considering whether or not to enter it.

Leon got up.

"Ugh, you have quite the grasp of water magic. I'm more into fire myself."

He looked towards the others. "I think we should stop our fighting, at least until we can figure out what's going on."

 

Exavier stood by, hurt a little by the fact that he was being ignored, and unsure of what was going on.

Haruhi started walking around town, thinking about the academy and it's closing. Wishing that it would open back up. She loved law. Stopping people from doing bad things. Suddenly, she walked right into a wall because she was in such deep thought.

"Ouch!" Haruhi fell backwards onto the ground.

Hiretsuna

"Boy, you sure looked stupid." She said as she laughed.

"Can't get anymore stupider than walking into a wall!"

She now noticed that Haruhi was staring at her in a weird way.

"What???"

 

Haruhi

"Oh... Nothing, it's just 'stupider' isn't a word....."

 

Hiretsuna

"I don't care okay??? You're such a smarty pants."

 

Haruhi

"Who are you???"

 

Hiretsuna

"Why do you need to know????"

 

Haruhi

"Just trying to introduce myself...."

(Eugene)

 

"We really don't have to fight." Eugene said to Gray

 

(Gray)

 

"Too bad, cause I wanna fight you to see how strong you are."

 

(Eugene)

 

"Look, you don't understand, both of us are connnected, if you hurt me, you are gonna get hurt by the same thing as well."

 

(Gray)

 

"I don't believe you."

 

(Eugene)

 

"Yeah, well look at them all," Eugene points to the others. "Like I said before if one of us gets hurt, the other one's gonna get hurt as well."

(I'm going to have another character that's Naja's boss, just so there's an enemy in the story, he's from the other world, not the one we're in right now)

 

Name: Seth Warrington

Age: 38

Alignment: Evil

Appearance:

Weapon: a cane that transforms into a large poisonous snake

Abilities: Mind control, activated through his voice, and his power is boosted when the victim has direct eye contact with him

Bio: The head of what could be considered the only effective law enforcer group, he has a big corporation where he produces soldiers, human or otherwise. After discovering the wormholes, his goal is to expand his jurisdiction by taking over the newly discovered world.

(I don't see the point in his Hantai Soku making an appearance, at least for now)

Seth was sitting in his leather chair overlooking the broken down city, fires in the distance made the sky very cloudy.

One of his workers entered his office.

"Naja seemed to have found a wormhole, he's not on our radar anymore."

Seth turned around to face the man.

"Very good," He replied. He arose from his chair. "I don't like to sit around, I think I'll go check out this 'new world'"

The other man was uneasy. "Naja is a very good soldier, I think he'll be able to handle it."

Seth grabbed his cane lying on the side of his desk.

"I'm merely going to check on his progress, I don't doubt his excellence. And I want to see my new land." And with that, he left.

(Cool, that'll help out Hiretsuma a little bit too.)

Ragnarok

 

He continued walking, lost in thought. He made his way through the sidewalk, then walked into a building, seeing a man in pure white. "An just who the hell are you..."

 

Hikari

 

"I'm Hikari, it's a pleasure." he bowed politely, then smiled. "And your's would be, my good sir?" Hikari grinned, hoping to establish friendship.

 

Ragnarok

 

He summoned his sword, the tip to Hikari's throat. "Your gonna make me puke with your friendly introductions..." he popped his neck, keeping the sword in that constant position. "Hikari huh? Must be the name your mom gave you before she got to the end of the tunnel huh."

 

Hikari

 

"That is what happened to your mother after all, right?" he smiled as he moves Ragnarok's sword away slowly. "Do you wish to know the truth?" Hikari smiled.

 

Ragnarok

 

"You bastard..." his voice in a low angry tone, the darkness began to form around him. "Don't you dare.... even begin to act like you know so much about her....." though Ragnarok never knew why his parents died at such an early stage of his life, he wasnt going to let some poser ruin there name.

 

Hikari

 

"Your such a beast, my good friend." he said, letting the book transform into a Pistol with the words "Be Just or be Dead" Written on the slide, carved in. "Do you wish to see your past families? If you do, then atone for your sin's. Let your blood, which is pure and light, become your holy water!! Be Just or Be Dead!!" The man preached, firing a bullet and taking the whole front of the building with the shot.

Haru dashed to the fight..."Youve fallen in a trap, foolish little girl." Suki laughed flinging her weapon toward Haru. Haru jumped to douge the attack. Haru struck Suki in the shoulder and immedently felt pain in her shoulder.

Haruhi

Haruhi saw the building slice and got to her feet.

"Well, it was nice "meeting" you, but I'm going to go check out that building."

 

Hiretsuma

"Yeah, whatever. We WILL meet again though...."

She said as she smiled mischievously.

 

Haruhi

Haruhi ran to the building to check out the scene and may even arrest someone.

Jason and Naja were still fighting, even though Naja understood the whole 'you kill your opponent you kill yourself' thing. "C'mon, is that the best you, and technically I, got?" asked Naja. Jason kicked him in the chest and sent him into a wall. "Ok, that was a good one." said Naja as he slid off the wall.

 

(Jason)

 

"Ah, my chest and my back, note to self, pull your punches." said Jason as he ran at Naja again.

Zephyr carried Terra up to the sky. They were so high now that everyone below looked like ants now. "Come on! We can't do this! If you keep fighting me you'll just hurt yourself. Every time you damage me the same pain if inflected on you. You're my Hantai Soku! Our soul is connected."

 

"Why should I believe you when I'm having so much fun?" Terra began to laugh insanely.

Haruhi

Haruhi approached the building and pulled out her shotgun from her pocket. Against the wall, she peered around the corner. And saw two boys about her age.

"What's going on here?! Tell me or you can count yourself as jail birds!" Haruhi said to the two boys.

(Naja)

 

Naja reached Jason and threw him, and landed right near, what Naja believed, was this worlds law enforcement. "Ok, come on, like fighting this guy wasn't bad enough." said Naja.

 

(Jason)

 

"Sorry, can't talk right now, trying to make this guy understand a few things." said Jason as he got up. Jason then ran at Naja and tackled him.

Terra busted from Zephyr's wind grip and fell like a meteor to the ground. He crashed and the pain immediately afflicted Zephyr causing him to lose balance and also fall. Before Zephyr hit the ground Terra stood up and when Zephyr crash landed Terra felt the pain. "That was weird." Was all he had to say.

Ragnarok

 

He turns to see the girl. "Who the hell are you? Do you think your little toy will do anything?" He looked furious and was not in the mood for any messing around. He slowly walked to the girl, sword in hand.

 

Hikari

 

"Wait!! I have no part in this!!" he runs away like a coward, acting as if he did absolutely nothing.

Haruhi

"Look tough guy, if you think I'm gonna stand here and fight with you, you've got another thing coming." she said putting away her gun.

"Cheer up a little, I can tell that the other guy did it." she said as she started laughing.

Ragnarok

 

"Funny thing, cause honestly, I don't give a damn." darkness slowly surrounded him, still walking to her. "Any last words before I show you what true hell is?" his voice low and a growl-like tone, he continued to the girl.

Haruhi

Exavier glanced at the new figure that joined the group and laughed.

"This is turning into a party, isn't it?" He joked, still pointing his katana at Leon.

Leon also looked at the figure and recognized who she was.

"Haruhi?" He asked himself. "What's she doing here?"

Although Exavier didn't admit it, he also felt like he'd seen her before.

"But that can't be right," Exavier said to himself. "I've never even been here before..."

Haruhi stood there, unafraid, looking slightly annoyed. She slow approached him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Stop. Before you do something I know you don't want to." she said giving him a look that seemed to go straight into his soul.

Leon jumped up, and advanced towards Haruhi.

Exavier almost threw a fit. "Hey! I'm holding you hostage right now in case you didn't notice!"

Leon turned back. "We both know you can't and won't hurt me, so just let me do this, and I do anything you want me to."

Exavier considered this, and decided to help him.

Leon jumped in front of Haruhi.

"Haruhi, what are you doing here?" He asked.

Exavier stood in front of Haruhi with katana in hand. "Didn't your mom teach you not to hurt girls?" He asked jokingly.

Haruhi

"Leon????? I was going to arrest a guy with glasses because he demolished this building, then this guy distracted me and he got away." Haruhi said as she pointed in the direction that the boy ran.

Ragnarok

 

He actually calmed down, the darkness rifted and ripped away from his body. "Whatever. Who cares what the hell I do." he waved her hand of his shoulder, then turns around, walking straight back the way he was going.

Leon shook his head. "Haruhi, I wouldn't mess with them. Long story short, these people are from the wormholes, and if you hurt one of them, you hurt someone from our world that's possibly innocent."

Exavier laughed at Ragnarok. "Yeah, that's what I thought chicken!"

"Exavier! Shut up!" Leon shouted.

Exavier turned back to Leon. "Remember our deal now." He reminded Leon.

Leon turned back to Haruhi. "Here, go to my friends over there, I'll be right there." He said pointing at the people not fighting.

Haruhi

Haruhi watched the boy go as she stood next to Leon. She could see that there was pain inside him, obviously something in the past. She actually somehow felt his pain. She even almost cried. What was wrong with her? Whatever it was, I didn't happen to her.

 

Haruhi noticed Leon told her to go to his friends. She was in such deep though she didn't know he said something to her.

"O-okay...." she said as she started walking.

She also realized he had said something about the wormholes and alternate worlds. They really did exist?? The stories were true?? She then reached the group of friends she was supposed to go to. Wait, she thought, what is Leon doing??? There was way too much on her mind, and if Leon was in trouble, surely he could take care of himself, couldn't he?
