Trainers all across hoenn gathered to the stadium, tempted to test their skills in battling. Their Pokemon were even more pumped. The stadium gleamed with a bright light, ready for Pokemon to battle...

"it's ok. We get it alot." said Sara, her jolteon making a cut face at the pachirisu. "this ones my favorite." Sara said, throwing a pokeball. It revealed a lucario. "it's name is Shine." Sara said, pointing to the lucario. "it's very strong to."

Mark walked into the seating area and saw people playing with their pokemon. He worked up to them and immediately his Electrivire got out. "Spark! Get back in there." he exclaimed

"Electrivire!" shouted spark. Spark always does this and when Mark tries to get him back him he's shocked.

"I'm so sorry about that but he likes other electric types." Mark apologised.

"It's ok this always happens with us to." said the girl reassuringly, " By the way my name is Sara."

"I'm Mark and I'm here to win this!" replied Mark.

"I'm Cave and there's no way you're gonna meet me." said the other person. When Mark saw who it was he almost screamed. It was Cave Jackson the champion of the Johto. Cave was his idol. Since he was growing up he admired Cave. He held his scream and acted cool. "Well may the best man win." said Mark shaking his hand.

Cave smiled at the energetic young man "Well, grab a seat and join tne party for now." Cave said smiling. Risu silently watched the other trainers gather around him. "so, let me tell you guys about the time I fought the greatest trainer of all time..." Cave said as he began to tell his story.

"the greatest trainer of all time? Who?" asked Sara, a confused look on her face. 'the greatest trainer...' she thought.

Mary continued to look through her pokedex. 'houndoom, raichu, doduo...' she thought. "good grief, I've seen a ton of Pokemon." she said. An announcement came on. "trainers, please head to the arena sidelines. We will be starting the tournament." 'finally, it's starting.' Mary thought, smiling and running to the sidelines. When she arrived, she only saw a couple trainers already there.

Sara got up and ran to the sidelines, hoping there will be some decent trainers to battle. 'this'll be fun!' she thought, smiling. Her jolteon followed, smiling as well as her lucario.

"Alright, lets go." Cave said to his pachirisu, who chirped in response. Cave quickly joined with his fellow trainers and returned his pokemon back to its orb.

Another announcement came on "time for the first round. The first battle will be... Sara vs Cave." 'now where have I heard those names before?' Mary thought. 'well, let's hope there strong...'

*Already, lol? Alright how are we gonna battle this?"

 

Cave turned to Sarah and gave her a hard look. Not because he was upset with her or nervous, but whenever he was about to battle he became a new person. He walked to where he was suppose to go and got mentally prepared for the first battle.

Sara walked to the arena as well, getting out a pokeball. "finally it's starting!!" she said. 'this'll be fun.' she thought.

Henry got to the stadium. Flame was already fired up, barking into the sky.

 

"Flame, calm down, you're going to have your chance."

 

Henry stepped into the arena. It seemed that there were already some trainers.

 

He got in time to hear the announcer say that the first match was Sara VS Cave.

 

"Well let's see what they got." thought Henry.

Mark heard the announcements for the first round and got up. He was ready to see some action. This would be a great battle. He was hoping that his battle would be first but he would hold out until the end. He knew his pokemon were also itching for a battle so he brought them out to see the battle. Mark's pokemon learn from different battles so that they would know their weaknesses. Inferno was staring at the two trainers awaiting to see what would happen.

Henry's cellphone started to ring. It was Travis.

 

"What now?" said Henry. "I'm watching a match".

 

"I got the Legend Badge! I'm qualified for the Unova Pokémon League!" said Travis in an excited voice.

 

"That's great news mate, but I gotta gow now. Tell mom the big news." said Henry, as he hung up the cellhphone.

 

Flame was already trembling from excitment.

 

"Flame, you'll have your turn. Calm down." said Henry.

Cave pulled out a pokeball and threw it into the air and caught with the same hand. "Alright Elain, lets show em what you got." Cave said to himself. "ELAIN, GO!" The young master yelled as he threw the pokemon carrying his Garchomp, the pokemon roared as it entered the battlefield.

Henry gasped.

 

"I'm not the only one that has a Garchomp... This is not good.​" thought Henry.

Sara got out her Pokemon as well. "go, pikachu!!" she yelled, a grin on her face. "pikachu, do your best. Thunderbolt!!" she yelled again, her pikachu letting lose with a powerful bolt of electricity.

"What? That girl's using a Pikachu against a Garchomp, and it uses Thunderbolt? You need to learn a lot mate." thought Henry.
