Well the title pretty much says it all. It was revealed in the 33rd issue of shonen jump. Although it is not clear whether it will be animated or live action , but let's just pray to God it is not live action.

Nope, it was Zenkai Battle Royale. Because SSJ God was in it, so it had to be this one. Not Heroes.

"Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission" WTF I DIDNT KNOW THEY MADE A 3DS TITLE, :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I WANT IT. When does it come out in US???????????????????

Dragon ball heros has SSJG in it too

Dragon ball heros has SSJG in it too

Oh really? I thought it only had Bills in it. Well still, the way he was talking about the Arcade game, im pretty sure it was Zenkai Battle Royale.

I guess SSJG Goku and Bills(And maybe Whis) will probably be in most future DBZ games from now on. :D :D

EDIT:

Hurry and watch the video while you can!!!

It shows the scenes from where Bills and Whis leave King Kai's planet after Goku gets defeated, and head to earth, to the point where Bulma invites Bills to her birthday party.

6:27 bills firetrucking break dancing skills.

I agree. But once the movie is released online fully, ill watch it. Because i don wanna wait 2 years for a dub without watching it.

Yep, Bills is a freaking beast at break dancing. XDD Who wouldv'e thought? :P

Man, im starting to get depressed. No Battle of Gods new scenes, but oh well. I just really hope dear god that this doesn't take 2 years to dub. I'd really love a Fall/Winter release this year. But ill settle for early 2014 if i have to(8 MORE MONTHS, WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????? WHY FUNIMATION??? WHY DO YOU MAKE ME SUFFER????). I will be geniuinly dissapointed if this takes 2 whole years to get dubbed. Seriously. It shouldn't take that long.

I would like them to dub Battle of Gods, along side dubbing Dragon Ball Z Kai Buu Saga. But TBH, i'd rather have BOG first, before the next DBZK. I mean we have the original to entertain us for now.

Found some pictures and trivia on the Dragon Ball Wikipedia, thought i should share with you guys:

Trivia

  • The scripwriter Yūsuke Watanabe
originally thought of Bills as a very bad guy who infects people with
evil and who was the one who made the Saiyan race ruthless.[13] Also, Bills originally looked like a lizard, but Toriyama changed his design entirely.[14]
  • In accordance to the original concept for this character, his name in Japanese, Birusu (ビルス), is a pun on "virus" (ビールス; German pronunciation).[15]
  • Bills was going to fight the Z Fighters with a spoon or fork, but the Battle of Gods animation director Tadayoshi Yamamuro thought it would be hard for him to fight like that, so he suggested switching it to chopsticks.[1

I never knew that Bills was originally gonna look like a Lizard. O_O Im glad Toriyama changed his design, thankfully. And seeing Bills fight the Z-fighters with a fork would've been awesome. He probably would've just stabbed them all. xD

Also, here are some silly pictures of Bills that i thought i should share that im pretty sure most of you haven't seen :P:

Posted Image I like this one. These Pyjamas make him look more ancient, since they're rags.

This one is my favorite. He has so many random faces in this picture, and most of them are just flat out hilarious to look at. XDDDDDDDD My favorite one is where he just flat out sticks his tongue like he doesn't care(Top right corner). My god. xD One of the reasons i love Bills as a villain is how Playful and care free he is.

I'd love to see Bills make most of these faces in the actual movie, hopefully. :D

This one isn't really silly, except for Bills face Lol, but i just felt like showing this one off, since we haven't seen any footage of this, save for really small clips in the trailers. ^_^

You can see more pictures of Bills, here at the DB wikipedia:

I know right? Man, i want BOG now. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????????????

WHY CAN'T WE HAVE IT NOWWWWWWWWWW???????????!!!!!!!!!! :

BTW, we finally have the translated lyrics of the Hero Theme that Flow made for Battle of Gods, here is the video with the captions:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3VmBD_0cJU

The lyrics themselves start at 0:14

But imma put the lyrics in spoilers:

Hope is what will bring

although sometimes i shudder concern

All Day, All Night

Will endure to the end, this strong glow

but i think the confusion will come

and perhaps cannot resist

Oh Yeah, Oh Right

Such as the sunlight

Give me the power i need, light my soul, I awake Value

Although the Pain hits, this dream will always defend

Gathering all our strength, is that we will win, who hurts us endlessly, arrive and be tenaciously

A HERO!!

Those words that nobody tells me, how they become a major problem

Wish it, Can you

will come true, the dream of my heart?

Song that gives me all the courage i need, and so encouraged me to continue

Crazy, Always

Kindle my heart

Give me, Give me power i need, light my soul, the value that is in me

Although the pain hits, this dream will always defend

Gathering all of our strength, is that we will win, who hurts us endlessly, will arrive and be tenaciously

A HERO!!!

Change my destiny, and what holds me

Remain firm my steps, because i am not weak

And move on, with the world shouting

Nothing grabs me, the will and

believe in the light, that lights us up, and just so you can win

Even though the pain always hits, this dream will always defend

Give me the power i need, light my soul and detonate my courage

Tenaciously arrive and be a hero

Tears that bereth  (on your face and sad)

skyward yell (creating a large echo)

is to be realized (light sleep)

and destroys the concern

Tears that bereth  (on your face and sad)

skyward yell (creating a large echo)

is to be realized (light sleep)

Hope is what will bring!

Ok, part of the lyrics don't make much sense, due to the grammar not being fixed, but i just put what was translated for now. Its still an amazing song though.

EDIT:

Also, i went on the BOG official Jap. website:

http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/movie/2013_dragonballz/

They show what Imax Theaters the movie is playing at, and what Imax is like, as if we didn't already know that, :P.

I can't wait for if it hopefully gets a theatrical release here in the US, and i get to search up its times for showings. I am definitely gonna watch this in Imax, its my favorite anime and i can't afford to miss the chance.

Edited by spiderfreak1011

So, anyone have any ideas on what the next movie will probably be about? (If you haven't read the plot for BOG, you won't know what im talking about) I mean, what happens to Bills at the end of Battle of Gods, and what Whis says after that really shows that another movie will take place 3 years after this, 2 years before Goku will meet Uub.

I'm thinking maybe in the next one, that maybe a great threat to all of the 12 DBZ universes will arrive, and will prove to be too much, even for the God's of Destruction that each world has(Yeah, that'd be an impossible enemy to fight, especially seeing how Overpowered Bills alone is). I mean, i know its the job of all the Gods of Destruction to destroy planets so new ones can be created, but with this new enemy trying to destroy all of the universes, it'd make it impossible for any new planet's to be created, thus kinda nullifying their jobs. Then maybe, all the Z-fighters from each of the 12 universe's will have to band together with the God's of the Destructions in order to defeat this monster.

That's all i got so far.

I don't think we should make a speculation thread for this, considering how so far nothing is confirmed that there will be a new movie. However, considering the ending of BOG, there's a 99% possibility of there being new DBZ content that takes place during the 10 year Gap after Kid Buu's defeat.

Edited by spiderfreak1011

BTW, just gonna post the whole summary of BOG in its entirety in a spoiler for those of you who want to know:

READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! If you dont want BOG spoiled for you, don't look into the spoiler:

Several years have passed since the battle with Majin Buu…

From the Kaiōshin Realm, the East Kaiōshin and Elder Kaiōshin
telepathically talk to North Kaiō, in the afterlife, about the early
awakening of “Birus”. Meanwhile Goku, who came to Kaiō’s planet to
train, is causing a ruckus in the background and Kaiō tells him to keep
quiet. When Kaiōshin realizes that Goku is there, he warns Kaiō not to
let him hear anything about Birus, lest he become interested.
Unfortunately, Goku has already overheard their conversation and is
curious about this “Birus” fellow. When Kaiō plays dumb, Goku teases
that he can simply teleport over to Kaiōshin and ask him directly. Kaiō
decides to tell him about the “God of Destruction”, but only while the
two joy ride around the planet in his car. Kaiō explains that in this
world there are gods who give birth to life-forms and worlds, such as
the Kaiōshin, but opposite of them are gods who destroy life-forms and
worlds. In the Kaiōshin Realm, the two Kaiōshin wonder how many planets
will be sacrificed now that the God of Destruction Birus is awakening.

Goku changes into his dōgi, saying he is looking forward to seeing
just how incredible Birus is, which appalls Kaiō. Kaiō angrily explains
that Birus’s strength is in a league of its own. He elaborates that
Birus is the ultimate God of Destruction in this world, but is very
fickle and prone to rampages.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods

(Logo & Short “Cha-La Head-Cha-La” Intro)

Meanwhile at Birus’s palace, the God of Destruction’s alarm bombs are
going off, but he continues to sleep. His attendant Uis walks slowly up
a crystal staircase to a large room where Birus is “napping” and
informs him that the “alarm bombs” have been going off. He insists that
Birus wake up now, as he cannot sleep-in another 15 years like he did
before, and threatens to perform an “awakening song” if Birus does not
get up now. Terrified, Birus gets up right away and slides down from his
bed atop a floating rock. He is still cranky because he only got to
sleep for 39 years this time, which is barely an afternoon nap. Uis
points out that Birus was the one that set this as the time of his next
awakening, and asks him why he even wanted to get up this early anyway.
Birus, now cleaning his fur, says that he was concerned about something
in this era…

As he eats breakfast, Birus asks Uis if Freeza destroyed Planet
Vegeta while he was asleep. Uis confirms that he has, and not a trace of
the planet remains. Birus is glad to hear this, as he did not care much
for the people on that planet, particularly King Vegeta. He could have
destroyed the planet himself, but it was so far away, and he did not
want to bother. On the other hand, Birus does not like Freeza that much
either, since he is evil and so very full of himself, and decides on
destroying him next. However, Uis informs Birus that Freeza has already
been defeated, by the Saiyan “Son Goku”, who is otherwise known as
“Kakarrot”. While most of the Saiyans were destroyed along with Planet
Vegeta, a few survived and are living on other planets, including Prince
Vegeta. Birus is surprised that anybody else could defeat Freeza, let
alone a Saiyan. Uis further explains that the surviving Saiyans have
acquired the ability to transform into “Super Saiyans”. That phrase
rings a bell with Birus, but he cannot remember where. It then comes to
him that he dreamed of fighting something awfully similar while
sleeping: Super Saiyan God! He is convinced this must have been a
prophetic dream. Unimpressed, Uis points out that Birus’s “prophetic
dreams” have been terribly unreliable in the past.

To settle the matter Birus consults the Oracle Fish, asking her if 39
years earlier she had not predicted that in 39 years’ time Birus would
be confronted with a fearsome foe, but she does not remember. Birus is
convinced that she did, so she agrees that she must have done so, too.
Having heard this, Birus has no doubt that this “fearsome foe” must be
Super Saiyan God! While Birus is getting awfully worked up, Uis is still
skeptical, and finds it hard to imagine anyone posing a challenge for
Birus. Still, Birus thinks that even if “fearsome foe” is an
overstatement, this Super Saiyan God thing ought to at least be
interesting. They decide to set out in search of Super Saiyan God by
tracking down the remaining Saiyans. Uis says that most of them are on
Earth, which is “Planet 4032-877″ in the Seventh Universe. However, the
one who defeated Freeza, Son Goku, is currently at the North Kaiō’s
planet. Birus thinks it is strange for a Saiyan to be hanging out with a
Kaiō, and the two set off for the North Kaiō’s planet.

On Earth, Bulma is throwing herself a huge birthday party at Capsule
Corporation headquarters and almost everyone has come to partake in the
celebration. However, Bulma is pretty annoyed that Goku went off to
train with Kaiō at a time like this; she specifically told him about the
party half a year in advance. Even Vegeta is off training on his own.
Kuririn wonders how old Bulma is now, but she angrily refuses to tell
him. No. 18 wants to know about the bingo tournament, wondering if
participants will win planes and other big prizes, but Kame-Sen’nin
wonders if they will win sexy DVDs.

Back at Kaiō’s planet, Kaiō warns Goku that something is coming their
way. Goku panics; is it Bulma?! No, Kaiō says, it is even worse than
that. The God of Destruction Birus is heading right for them. Goku is
confused, since he cannot sense anybody, but Kaiō explains that the aura
of a god is beyond Goku’s comprehension. Kaiō hides Goku in his house,
but it is too late; Birus and Uis have already arrived. Kaiō greets
Birus as politely as possible. Birus complains about how small Kaiō’s
planet is, but Uis points out that it only got so small because Birus
destroyed it long ago, after losing in a game of hide-and-seek. Birus
explains that he has come because he has business with the Saiyan here,
and calls Goku out of Kaiō’s house. Goku starts to greet him with a
“Heya! I’m Goku!”, but Kaiō smacks him and says that he must do a
proper, polite greeting. He is more than old enough, after all. Goku
struggles, but manages to spit out a formal introduction. After being
reminded of the name, Birus asks him if he knows anything about “Super
Saiyan God”, but while Goku and Kaiō both know of regular Super Saiyan,
neither of them have ever heard of “Super Saiyan God”.

Changing the subject a bit, Birus says that he heard Goku was the one
who defeated Freeza. However, he thinks Goku as he is now would not be
capable of defeating Freeza, but apparently he can by powering up by
transforming into a Super Saiyan, and yet he has never heard of Super
Saiyan God. Uis says that Prince Vegeta and the three other Saiyans on
Earth are all capable of becoming Super Saiyans. Birus finds that odd,
and thinks that they may be able to find something out by heading to
Earth. Kaiō protests that the Saiyans on Earth probably do not know
anything about Super Saiyan God either, but Birus thinks they might as
well go see for themselves. Still, he assures Kaiō that he will not
destroy Earth if nothing there gets on his nerves. Before he can go
however, Goku respectfully requests a match with Birus, to see his
power. In all his long life, Birus has never gotten such a request. He
thinks Goku must be very confident, or simply a fool, and Kaiō assures
him it is the latter. He agrees to fight Goku, telling him to start at
full power. Goku transforms up through Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and
finally to Super Saiyan 3, impressing Birus, who says Goku was not just
full of hot air after all. Birus still does not seem particularly
concerned, however. The fight begins, and Goku is unable to even lay a
finger on Birus, who defeats him handily with just a finger-flick and a
karate chop to the neck. Birus nonchalantly bids Kaiō farewell, and
heads off with Uis for Earth. Goku is in bad shape, but still alive, and
Kaiō curses him for his stupidity. He realizes he has to contact Vegeta
right away and inform him of the situation.

Vegeta is still off on his own training when Kaiō telepathically
contacts him. After listening to what Kaiō has to say, Vegeta says he
has heard of the God of Destruction, but he is not too worried that he
is on his way to Earth. Kaiō warns that the Earth will be wiped out if
they do not keep their hands off Birus, but Vegeta still does not care,
at least not until Kaiō tells him that Birus took Super Saiyan 3 Goku
down in just two blows. Vegeta rushes out and interrupts the party to
warn everyone, but Birus is already there. Birus casually greets him,
asking Vegeta if he remembers him. Vegeta recalls that when he was still
little, his father King Vegeta treated Birus to a feast, but that Birus
still used the King as a stepping stone at the time. Seeing Birus
face-to-face, Vegeta can tell that Kaiō was not exaggerating; Birus is
far too dangerous.

Birus can see that they are having some sort of party, and notes that
the food smells delicious. Vegeta explains as politely as possible that
this is his wife’s birthday party. Birus wants to partake in the
festivities, but Uis reminds him what they came here for. Birus then
asks Vegeta about Super Saiyan God, but he does not know anything about
it either. Uis is now confident that Birus’s “prophetic dream” was a
mistake. Bulma then walks up, asking if Birus and Uis are friends of
Vegeta, and the two very politely introduce themselves. Bulma is
surprised that Vegeta’s friends are so high-class, but she can tell they
are not from Earth. She invites them to the party and they agree, since
the food looks so good. The festivities continue, with Piccolo singing
karaoke, Uis eating, and Birus break dancing, all the while with Vegeta
on pins and needles.

Elsewhere on the Capsule Corp. grounds, a trio of suspiciously
familiar-looking kids are poking around in search of something; it is
Pilaf, Shuu, and Mai! Pilaf is upset about their situation, revealing
that some time ago, when he had become very old, they had finally
managed to gather the Dragon Balls in order to have Shenlong grant their
wish. Concerned that there would be no point in ruling the world only
to die soon after, he instead wished for Shenlong to restore his youth…
but Shenlong made himself, Shuu, and Mai a little too young, and now
they are all stuck as children. This time Pilaf wants to wish for a lot
of money, since he is sick of living in poverty. Their data indicates
that the seven Dragon Balls are all somewhere in this area, and after a
little bit of searching and Pilaf spraying some graffiti all over the
bingo tournament prizes, they collect them all. However, it is just then
that Trunks happens by and asks them what they are up to. They claim to
be friends of the kid who lives here, but Trunks is confused since that
is him and he does not know them. Trunks mistakes Pilaf for a talking
monkey, who angrily tries to correct him, but Mai warns him that they
cannot let anyone know their true identities. Trunks calls Goten over to
see the interesting monkey he found, and when Pilaf and co. see Goten
they mistake him for Goku, remembering the time Ōzaru Goku destroyed
their castle. The trio runs off in a panic. Goten tells Trunks that that
really was a weird-looking monkey, but he is more interested in the
pretty girl. Is she a friend of Trunks? Trunks pauses a bit, then
proudly announces that she is his girlfriend, and that they have even
held hands! Goten is deeply impressed about this.

The Pilaf trio regroups elsewhere, and they wonder what the heck Goku
is doing here. Shuu notes that Goku is still a child, just like them.
Pilaf is mad that thanks to him they ran off without getting the Dragon
Balls, but Mai actually managed to steal the Four-Star Ball. She plans
to hold the ball ransom for a million zenny. Bulma hears about Trunks’
girlfriend and finds the whole thing very amusing, asking Trunks to
bring her over. Trunks finds the Pilaf trio again and explains that he
is claiming one of them is his girlfriend, so he wants them to play
along. Pilaf and Shuu think he must be talking about one of them, but
Trunks says he meant the girl! Mai is terribly embarrassed by all this,
since she has never really done this sort of thing before. Pilaf says
she is old enough. The trio joins the party, planning to steal the rest
of the Dragon Balls during the bingo tournament. When they see Bulma,
they think that this old lady looks pretty familiar too, and quickly
remember that she was the girl who was with Goku back then. Now more
reluctant than ever, they follow Trunks to the party, where Birus and
Uis are still enjoying themselves eating. Bulma asks how old Mai is and
she slips, saying she is “41”, but everyone thinks she is just trying to
be funny.

In the afterlife, Kaiō and Bubbles are hiding in a fortress of
sandbags as Goku fires off a massive Kamehameha which encircles the
entire planet and comes right back at him. Goku manages to block it, and
Kaiō thinks it is very impressive. When the smoke clears, however, Goku
realizes that he is still no match for Birus. He tells Kaiō that it
does not look like he will be able to become Super Saiyan God just by
training more. Back on Earth, Birus is annoyed that Super Saiyan God
still has not shown up. Uis notes that apart from Goku and Vegeta, the
remaining Saiyans are all half Earthling, and two of them are still
children. Bulma then takes the stage and announces the start of the
bingo tournament, assisted by some lovely ladies that Kame-Sen’nin and
Oolong are ogling over. The prizes include a castle, planes, and other
fancy things, but the top prize is the set of all seven Dragon Balls.
Birus notes that these “Dragon Balls” resemble the Namekians
wish-granting balls, and Uis explains that the God of Earth is a
Namekian. When the Dragon Ball set is unveiled, Yamcha notices that there is one ball missing: the Four-Star Ball! Trunks asks Mai if they know where the Dragon Ball is, and as he grabs her the Dragon Ball
she stole falls out of her pocket. The Pilaf trio realize that they
have to act now, so they grab Trunks and hold him at gunpoint, demanding
a million zenny for his safe return. When this fails to elicit much of a
response from the crowd, Pilaf says even a hundred thousand zenny would
be fine. Everyone just laughs them off.

Birus does not understand why everyone thinks this is so funny, but
Vegeta assures them it is just an act. Gohan decides to get in on the
fun too, and changes into his Great Saiyaman costume. Gohan gives his
standard Great Saiyaman introduction, and Birus wonders if this weirdo
is the Super Saiyan God. Vegeta assures him that this is just Kakarrot’s
son in disguise. Gohan casually walks up to Mai and challenges her to
shoot all her bullets at him; he will be fine! Baffled, they reluctantly
go ahead, but her bullets have no effect on him. Gohan is thoroughly
enjoying himself, as Kuririn points out that he is not used to drinking
alcohol, but Gohan proceeds to reprimand the Pilaf trio for carrying
real firearms. Gohan tells them that it would have been awful if they
had shot someone besides him, at which point Videl screams out in pain.
It turns out that one of the bullets hit her leg. Chi-Chi chews Gohan
out for letting his bride get hit, but Dende steps up to heal her.
Mister Satan does not understand how this kid can help Videl, but
Piccolo explains that he is God and can heal injuries. Satan is
surprised to hear Dende is God. Dende successfully heals Videl, but
something surprises him. He tells Videl that inside her there is a…
Videl cuts him off, saying that it is still a secret.

Birus, who was hit in the head with a stray bullet, is fed up with
waiting and decides to just destroy Earth. “Before creation comes
destruction” he says, charging up an attack. Vegeta interrupts, saying
that the bingo tournament is just beginning. He desperately does a song
and dance about bingo, which convinces Birus and Uis to go on eating for
a while longer. The others start to wonder why Vegeta is acting so
strange. Bulma forgives the Pilaf trio’s misbehavior and collects the
Four-Star Ball from them for the tournament. As the others play bingo,
Uis tells Birus that there is supposed to be some great custard pudding.
In fact, Majin Buu is eating some now. Birus asks Buu for one and Uis
asks for two, but Buu says he is going to eat them all himself. Birus
cannot believe Buu will not share when he has so many, but Buu shouts
back at him saying they are all his and proceeds to lick them all. Birus
struggles with Buu over the pies, until Buu tries to turn him into
candy. Vegeta finally notices what is going on and curses himself for
letting Birus out of his sight. It is too late: Birus finally snaps,
saying he will destroy the Earth for this, and unleashes his power in a
fit of rage.

Buu rushes at Birus, but is sent flying off into a lake with a mere
kiai. Vegeta asks Birus to stop, but Kame-Sen’nin announces their
attack. Piccolo, Tenshinhan, and No. 18 all charge Birus, who picks up a
pair of chopsticks from a nearby table. He easily dodges No. 18′s punch
and reappears behind her, knocking her out with an elbow to the back.
Tenshinhan tries to punch Birus as well, but Birus catches his hand with
the chopsticks and effortlessly throws him aside. Piccolo then kicks at
Birus, but is shocked when Birus blocks it so easily. Birus then taps
Piccolo in the chest a few times with the chopsticks and he passes out.
Everyone else sees this and turns tail and starts running for the hills.
Gohan, now in his dōgi, powers up and rushes at Birus in mid-air, who
has now picked Buu up by his antennae out of the water. Gohan grabs him
from behind, but Birus flips him off over his shoulder, grabbing him by
the hair, and smashes Gohan and Buu together. As they begin to fall
Birus kicks each of them away, Gohan off into a hill and Buu back into a
nearby lake. Vegeta finally decides to join in the battle and powers up
to Super Saiyan as he flies toward Birus. The two exchange a few blows,
but Birus quickly overtakes Vegeta, landing a punch to his gut and then
unleashing a flurry of punches to his face.

Meanwhile, Uis goes off to a nearby sushi stand. He has never seen
sushi before, and is very interested in this new treat. Back at the
fight, Vegeta is sent flying with a kick and Goten and Trunks decide to
fuse into Super Saiyan Gotenks. Birus acknowledges that Gotenks has good
fighting sense if nothing else, but as Vegeta feared Gotenks is
absolutely no match for Birus, who literally spanks him. Vegeta says he
knew Birus was fearsome, but he did not imagine he would be this far
above them and thinks it really is the end. Birus returns to the ground,
thinking this has been such a disappointment with no custard pudding or
Super Saiyan God. He might as well just destroy the planet. Vegeta
resigns himself to this fate, considering it an honor to be destroyed by
the God of Destruction. Bulma interrupts, telling Birus to cut it out.
He may be a friend of Vegeta’s, but there is no way she is going to let
him make a mess of her 38th birthday party. Kuririn, to himself,
questions that it is really her “38th” birthday. Bulma slaps Birus, but
Birus simply slaps her right back, knocking her to the ground. Seeing
this, Vegeta goes berserk and unleashes his rage as he powers up. He
knocks Birus around, and Kame-Sen’nin says in amazement that it looks
like Vegeta has surpassed Goku. Vegeta unleashes a giant ki attack at
Birus, which catches the attention of the people in West City. A police
woman remarks that Capsule Corporation must be setting off extra-large
fireworks again.

Vegeta reverts back to his normal state, having used up all of his
power in that last attack, and as the smoke clears, is shocked to see
that Birus is undamaged. Birus is disappointed that he really is not
Super Saiyan God either, and decides he will just destroy Earth and head
back home for now. He calls for Uis, who is still eating sushi and
tells him to wait a bit. Vegeta makes a last attempt to convince Birus
not to destroy the planet, but Birus simply pokes him on the forehead,
knocking him out. Birus angrily calls for Uis again, saying that he was
right; “Super Saiyan God” was just a stupid dream. Uis asks him to wait a
just a little bit longer before destroying Earth though, since his
sushi order still is not ready.

Uis’s order is soon up, and so Birus begins preparing an attack to
destroy Earth. At the last minute, Goku appears and tells Birus to wait.
Birus asks him if he has figured out the identity of “Super Saiyan
God”. Goku says it is still a mystery, and although he knows Birus is
the God of Destruction, he asks Birus to please spare the Earth, just
this once. He knows there is no way he can defeat Birus as-is, but
thinks that maybe, just maybe he can become the Super Saiyan God, if
given a little time. Birus agrees to give him time, and Goku asks Bulma
if he can use the Dragon Balls real quick. Bulma is fine with it, if he
is going to use them to take care of that rude idiot. Goku tells her not
to badmouth Birus; he is a god after all. Bulma thinks that a god
should not make such a big deal over custard pudding, and calls him an
idiot again. Vegeta explains that Birus is not just some run-of-the-mill
god; he is the God of Destruction, the most fearsome god in the world.
Goku adds that Birus is the strongest in the universe; he even makes
Kaiō and Kaiōshin wet themselves. Uis warns everyone to be careful what
they say; if anything rubs Birus the wrong way, he will destroy the
entire solar system in no time at all. Bulma changes her tune and tries
to seduce Birus, but Oolong warns her that this sort of thing from a
middle-aged woman will just have the opposite effect.

Goku calls forth Shenlong, and Kuririn wonders what Goku wants to do
with the Dragon Balls. Is he going to have Shenlong prevent Earth’s
destruction? No, Goku says, not even Shenlong could do that. As Shenlong
comes forth, even more people throughout West City begin to notice the
weird goings-on at Capsule Corporation. Shenlong appears, and rather
than make a wish, Goku asks if he knows about Super Saiyan God. Shenlong
says that he does, which excites Goku, who next asks if Shenlong can
bring Super Saiyan God here. Shenlong says he cannot bring him here
because he does not exist. Super Saiyan God is a god artificially
created by the Saiyans. Goku asks what this means, but Shenlong is fed
up with questions and wants to know what Goku’s actual wish is. Goku
explains that Birus wants them to produce Super Saiyan God. When
Shenlong hears Birus’s name, he panics! He did not know Birus-sama was
there!

Birus steps forth and requests that Shenlong tell them the method for
producing Super Saiyan God. Shenlong agrees, still sounding shaken, and
Bulma says that she has never seen Shenlong like this before. Shenlong
explains that Super Saiyan God was a savior accidentally created by
righteous Saiyans long ago, in order to oppose the evil Saiyans, whose
power and numbers were overwhelmingly superior. With his tremendous
power, this savior quickly wiped out most of the evil Saiyans, but his
power ran out right before he could finish the job. And so Planet Vegeta
once again became a planet of evil Saiyans, and the savior was erased
in legend. Shenlong further explains that when five righteous Saiyans
infuse their light into another righteous Saiyan, then the Super Saiyan
God will be born. Having told them the method for producing Super Saiyan
God, Shenlong departs, but not before very respectfully saying goodbye
to Birus.

Piccolo thinks that it is hopeless since they need five pure-hearted
Saiyans, but only Gohan and Goten fit the bill. This makes Bulma angry,
who says that Vegeta may be hopeless, but surely Trunks is pure. Piccolo
responds that any kid who has a girlfriend at such a young age is
decidedly impure. Chi-Chi is angry too, and wants to know why Piccolo
does not consider Goku pure. Kame-Sen’nin says that Goku is pure, in
that he is an idiot who cares for nothing but fighting. Things get
rowdy, until Birus demands that they produce Super Saiyan God at once.
Dende says that in his opinion, though Vegeta was once evil, he is not
that way anymore. Kuririn agrees, saying Vegeta has not done anything
bad for a long time.

Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Vegeta hover above the ground, holding
hands with Goku, and begin pouring their Super Saiyan power into him.
Vegeta asks why Goku gets to be the one to become Super Saiyan God, but
Bulma tells him to stop complaining. Before long, Goku begins emitting
an enormous battle power. Everyone else then drops out of their Super
Saiyan forms as their energy is completely transferred over to Goku, who
is left with an amazing sparking aura. Kuririn says that Goku has
surely become a god, and Bulma wants him to show his stuff, but Piccolo
tells Goku not to bother. There is no point in him fighting like this;
although his battle power may have increased, he has really done nothing
more than just gather up everyone’s energy. Birus agrees, noting that
god’s energy is not expressed in battle power, and Goku realizes that he
still cannot defeat Birus like this either.

Everyone loses hope, but Uis steps up and reminds them of what
Shenlong actually said. The light of five must be infused into another.
In other words, a total of six pure-hearted Saiyans is required. They
struggle to think up where they can find another pure-hearted Saiyan,
and Bulma remembers that Vegeta has a straight-laced younger brother
living off on some distant planet. Vegeta says he does not really know
where that planet is, and it is too far away at any rate. Bulma thinks
Vegeta should have gotten his brother’s cell phone number. Birus thinks
this is a waste of time and they should leave, but Videl steps forward
and says that there is another Saiyan, or at least that there will be.
Mister Satan protests that he is a pure-blooded Earthling, but Videl
says she is not talking about him. Dende steps in and explains that
Videl is pregnant. Videl says she wanted to keep it a secret to surprise
Gohan later, and Gohan is ecstatic at hearing the news. Everyone is
overjoyed and begins celebrating, but Birus interrupts them and asks
whether Goku is going to become Super Saiyan God or not. They all decide
to try the ritual again, with the addition of Videl this time. Videl is
not sure it will work, since her baby is not even born yet, but Gohan
says they might as well try.

The six of them gather together and grab hands, with everyone except
Videl powering up into their Super Saiyan forms. This time a blue light
starts to emit from everyone and engulfs Goku, who begins to rise into
the air. A bright blue light erupts from Goku, bursting into an intense
aura that quickly dissipates, and Goku descends back down to the ground.
Oolong thinks he looks the same as usual, but Bulma points out that his
hair is now red, and Kame-Sen’nin says he has gotten thinner. Kuririn
points out that he can no longer even tell what Goku’s battle power is.
Uis congratulates Goku on successfully becoming Super Saiyan God, though
Goku wonders if he really has become it. Birus says that Goku will be
able to tell once they start fighting, and if Goku really is stronger
than him, then he will not destroy the Earth.

The two stand facing each other, staring down one another. Goku
gradually begins glowing, slowly emitting a fiery red aura, and then
rushes at Birus. Goku throws a massive punch, but Birus catches it,
causing a huge shockwave. Birus is impressed and asks Goku how it feels
being a god. Goku says it has surprised him, and Birus feels the same
way. The two take to the air to continue their fight, with each
exchanging and blocking the others attacks. They seem to be evenly
matched and Birus is pleased with how things are going, but notices that
Goku seems dissatisfied. Goku says he is, a little bit. Does he not
like being a god, Birus wonders? Goku says he never knew there was a
realm of power like this, but does not like the fact that he could not
reach it on his own. They continue fighting, but Birus finds what Goku
said interesting. Does he not like that he became a god with his
friends’ help? Goku says that he is happy, but at the same time he
regrets needing to borrow everyone’s power to be able to fight Birus.
Birus wonders why he decided to become a god then, and Goku says he
simply wanted to fight Birus that badly.

Angered, Birus punches Goku hard in the gut, then sends him flying
through West City with a ferocious kick. Goku stops himself mid-air, but
before he can do anything Birus is already there and puts Goku in a
headlock. Birus quickly whirls around him, kicks Goku off into a nearby
forest, and gives chase. Not able to see them, Kame-Sen’nin and the
others run over to a Capsule ship and fly off after the two. Goku and
Birus continue exchanging blows in the forest, when Birus sends Goku
flying with another kick to the face. Birus flies off after him and the
two end up in a desert area with numerous rock formations surrounding
them. Goku and Birus charge at each other and their punches collide,
sending out an Earth-shattering shockwave. They pull away from each
other and a trickle of blood falls from a cut on Goku’s cheek.

Birus asks if Goku is still feeling dissatisfied with godhood, and
Goku says he still is. As the two continue to battle, Birus tells Goku
this sort of worthless pride can be a weakness, and it is rare for a
Saiyan to get so hung up on such things. Their battle has led them into a
subterranean cavern, and Goku says that Vegeta has pride even greater
than his own. Birus points out that even Vegeta threw away that pride
earlier, in order to protect everyone. Goku knows, and respects Vegeta
for doing so. In fact, seeing Vegeta throw away his princely pride was
what made Goku decide to throw away his own pride and become a god.
Meanwhile, Kame-Sen’nin wonders what the two of them are talking about.
Rather than fighting, Piccolo says it almost seems as if Goku is
receiving training.

Birus admits that he too is dissatisfied, because he is still not
fighting with anywhere close to his full power. Goku is amazed, since he
himself has only been fighting at close to 80% of his full power.
Hearing this really annoys Birus, and he asks if Goku can keep up with
his speed. Birus charges toward Goku and begins pummeling him, asking if
Goku is fighting all-out yet. Goku says he is, but all of a sudden his
red aura disappears and he reverts back to his normal Saiyan state. The
two continue to fight, with Goku using Shunkan-Idō to counter Birus’s
increased speed. Birus unleashes a barrage of rapid fire ki attacks that
Goku barely manages to dodge. Goku comes around Birus’s blind side and
lands a hard punch to the gut. Birus is really angry now, and in his
rage he fires off countless ki blasts in every direction. Goku tries to
dodge all of the boulders falling from above, but gets caught up by the
massive amount of them. Goku suddenly bursts out as he transforms into a
Super Saiyan, yelling at Birus that destruction is not something one
should take pleasure in.

Goku flies up to the surface, with Birus giving chase, and Piccolo
notices that Goku is no longer a god; he has gone back to being a
regular Super Saiyan! Regardless, Goku continues holding his own against
Birus. Kame-Sen’nin asks if Kuririn can see the fight, as the battle
moves up into the Earth’s atmosphere, but neither of them can. Goku
fires a gigantic Kamehameha at Birus, but he takes the blast head on and
then prepares a huge attack of his own, an enormous energy ball. As
Goku struggles against Birus’s energy ball, Birus tells Goku that Super
Saiyan God’s time limit ran out a long time ago. Goku apparently did not
notice, because as he fought he absorbed that realm of power into his
body. Due to this, even after returning to normal, Goku still did not
power down very much. Birus says that Goku is really something, a rare
genius. Now he should be able to be perfectly happy, since this is what
he wanted. Goku says he is not though, since there is still such a gap
in their powers. In that case, Birus thinks he should just give up.
Birus’s energy ball threatens to destroy the Earth, but as his friends
and family cheer him on, Goku momentarily becomes Super Saiyan God once
again, and repels the attack. Impressed, Birus asks Goku what he did,
but Goku does not know. Birus does not understand this, but thinks Goku
always has something interesting to say.

Birus decides to stop the fight, if Goku will say that he gives up.
Goku obliges and surrenders, saying he is not any match for Birus, whose
strength is just what you would expect from the best in the universe.
Birus says that Goku now finally understands the ferocity of the God of
Destruction. Still, he says Goku was plenty strong himself. In all of
Birus’s long history of fighting, Goku was the second strongest person
he has ever fought. Goku laughs, but is curious why he is only number
two. Birus says he has one more thing to tell him. Goku expects him to
give up on destroying the Earth, but Birus says his principle is to not
change his mind once he has decided on doing something. Actually Birus
wanted to tell Goku about Uis. While Uis is Birus’s attendant, he is
also Birus’s martial arts master. Goku cannot believe it. This must mean
that the real strongest in the universe is…

Birus continues, saying that this world is the Seventh Universe.
Birus explains that he is the God of Destruction for the Seventh
Universe, but there are twelve universes in total. Goku cannot help but
laugh at the prospect of there being even more incredible people out
there. He finally collapses out of exhaustion and everyone panics, but
Gohan confirms that he is still alive. Birus says he will destroy the
Earth now, just as he promised. He fires off another fearsome-looking
attack, which destroys… a small rock. Uis wonders why Birus only
destroyed such a small part of Earth, and Birus responds that he seems
to not have any stamina left. He will just have to destroy the rest of
Earth next time.

Uis offers Goku the job of being the next God of Destruction, after
Birus dies, but Goku turns him down. Birus apologizes to Bulma for
hitting her. Bulma says she would be glad for them to attend her next
party, but only if they promise not to cause any trouble. Birus
understands, though next time they had better make sure he gets to eat
some custard pudding. Bulma promises she will prepare a bunch just for
him, but he had better not say they taste bad. Birus says that if they
do taste bad, he will destroy the Earth for sure that time. Goku says if
he tries, then they will just have to fight again. Birus and Uis bid
everyone farewell and depart off into space.

Watching these events from their respective planets, Kaiō, Kaiōshin,
and Elder Kaiōshin cannot believe it. Goku actually got the God of
Destruction Birus to not destroy something. Kaiōshin thinks this must be
due to Goku’s strange character. Goku’s circle of friends keeps
growing, and now he has even made friends with Birus.

Back at their palace, Birus tells Uis that Goku has immeasurable
latent power, though he really would not consider him a “fearsome foe”.
Uis says that Birus put forth about 70% of his full power in that fight;
it has been a long time since he got so worked up. Birus says that Goku
and Vegeta might soon actually become fearsome foes, although he has
trouble remembering Goku’s name. Uis pulls out some sushi that he
brought back from Earth with him, and he and Birus chow down. He
explains to Birus about soy sauce and wasabi, which he learned about
while Birus was busy fighting. Birus tries some of the wasabi, which
turns his face red and he shoots up into the air in extreme pain. Uis
rushes over and karate chops Birus to put him to sleep for another three
years, but then tells Birus to brush his teeth before going to bed.

On Earth, Bulma’s birthday party recommences. Vegeta tells Goku that
next time he will be the one who gets to be Super Saiyan God, and Goku
had better cooperate. Goku says that Vegeta became an incredible Super
Saiyan back when he got angry over Bulma being hit, but Vegeta says
(while he blushes) he does not remember that. Goku thinks that the next
time they are up against a nasty opponent, they should just have their
enemy hit Bulma, to which Bulma slaps Goku. Piccolo points out that Goku
supposedly was not around when that happened, and suspects that he
teleported in and was watching everyone as they fought Birus. Hearing
this, Oolong jumps on Goku yelling at him about their lives being in
such grave danger. Goku says he wanted to scout out Birus to try and
form a strategy, but ultimately it did not help at all. Vegeta tells
Bulma to slap him again, which she agrees to do with pleasure. Goku
starts crawling away as Bulma winds up…

So yeah. Its amazing. I can't believe how much effort Toriyama-Sama put into this. Totally makes up for how SSJG looked.

Also:

Apparently during his time at Oz Comic Con 2013, Chris Sabat stated that FUNimation has obtained the license to dub Dragon Ball Kai: Buu Saga. He specifically said that there would be a total of 66 episodes. We reported last year about Toei Animation continuing Dragon Ball Kai with the Buu saga. So it is inevitable for FUNimation to work on DBZ
Kai Buu saga, but it is currently not confirmed Chris Sabat actually
stated this. Here are a few videos of Chris Sabat at Oz Comic Con 2013
(discussing Battle of Gods and more).

Buu saga may have 66 episodes. Crap. Thats gonna take awhile to finish. So if thats true, DBZK will end at 164 episodes. Over half as long than the original Series, which was 291 episodes.

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txCXSZafKQw

Another most likely fake, but really awesome "Dubbed" trailer for Battle of Gods. Its really good, and i like it, but i don't really buy it. Not to mention The fact that Bills calls himself a "King" rather than a "God" kinda makes it less of a possible official dub. He would definitely not lower his title, he'd prefer "God" rather than "king", im 100% sure of that.

Still, that's something that Funimation would do. The person who uploaded the video continues to insist that its not fake, but im not getting my hopes up yet. Im sincerely, truly hoping its real, and that we might get a release in theaters by late 2013, but im not gonna get my hopes up too high.

Kuririn says that Goku has

surely become a god, and Bulma wants him to show his stuff, but Piccolo

tells Goku not to bother. There is no point in him fighting like this;

although his battle power may have increased, he has really done nothing

more than just gather up everyone’s energy.

Uis says that Birus put forth about 70% of his full power in that fight;

it has been a long time since he got so worked up.

Hmmm...Well that is the Funimation cast for sure. I'm trying to remember if I have heard any of that from past episodes. I don't remember any of those lines....So it's very possible.

True, but other things give that away.

1. Like i said before, Bills referred to himself as a King rather than a God. There's a huge difference. Im pretty sure, considering how Bills is, he wouldn't lower his title at all.

2. At the beginning, there wasn't a screen showing "This movie has not been rated yet". Maybe they aren't making this be released in Theaters, but im sure Funimation will try to make it come out in theaters.

3. The voice clips kept going, AFTER THE FOOTAGE ENDED. Im sure Funi wouldn't do that. Not to mention it didn't have a screen after the trailer going "Coming Soon" to show when it could be released.

Im guessing its fake.

There were a lot of weird things about it. But it is for sure the Funimation cast. It may be old clips from movies or the show.

Yeah, its the Funimation cast for sure, but im still positive that trailer was fake. But who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and get Battle Of Gods, dubbed and in theaters by Fall. Im hoping that. :)

So anyone have any idea what'll happen after BOG, considering what happens in the ending? For  those of you who don't know, and you want to find out and don't care about getting spoiled, go up to my previous post which has the entire Sypnosis of Battle of Gods.

Considering what happened in the ending with Bills and Whis, im gonna guess this might be what happens in the next movie:

I'm thinking maybe in the next one, that maybe a great threat to all ofthe 12 DBZ universes will arrive, and will prove to be too much, evenfor the God's of Destruction that each universe has(Yeah, that'd be animpossible enemy to fight, especially seeing how Overpowered Bills aloneis).

I know its the job of all the Gods of Destruction todestroy planets so new ones can be created, but with this new enemytrying to destroy all of the universes, it'd make it impossible for anynew planet's to be created, thus kinda nullifying their jobs. Thenmaybe, all the Z-fighters from each of the 12 universe's will have toband together with the God's of the Destructions in order to defeat thismonster.

So yeah. I don't think i should start a discussion thread on that, considering how Toriyama-Sama hasn't even confirmed anything yet, but its still very possible that more DBZ content will come after this though.

Ive been looking on various websites with Anime's, but i haven't found any subbed Battle of Gods movies on any of them, or any Battle of Gods at all! :( *sighs* Darn it.

I don't wanna wait 2 years for Funimation to release it in theaters and on DVD. D: And im pretty sure my parents aren't gonna be happy to have to import for alot of money. Not to mention, its probably region locked and it wouldn't even work over here anyway. :(

I am really hoping for a Fall release this year. Seriously.

Wow, no one has any ideas for the next movie. How uncreative. :P

Ok, maybe. But yeah, im gonna stop with this now. I guess this will just stay abandoned until we hear news about the English dub. Just hoping it happens soon. Im hoping for Fall, but i doubt it'll happen.

I'm still waiting on Kai, brother. We need this soon... and then, we need to someone work the orginal DragonBall series into Kai. THEN MY LIFE WILL BE COMPLETE... imagine it... Are you imagining it?! :D

wait, hold on dbz still continued in japan??? could some one please catch me up???????

Well, this thread is about the new DBZ movie that just came out, called Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. I don't really wanna spoil it for you, but if you want to find out what happens, go check my older comments. I believe i posted a sypnosis for the movie in one of them, and i put it in Spoilers.

I'm still waiting on Kai, brother. We need this soon... and then, we need to someone work the orginal DragonBall series into Kai. THEN MY LIFE WILL BE COMPLETE... imagine it... Are you imagining it?! :D

I can wait on Kai. I want Battle of Gods, but i can wait awhile. I just hope Kai gets released more this year. I hear there are gonna be 65 episodes on the Buu Saga, so the series will end at 163 episodes(Counting the 98 that came before the Buu Saga).

Also, unless Cartoon Network purchases the rights again, we aren't getting a Dragon Ball Kai for the original series. It has too many sexual jokes and more mature things compared to Z. They'd have to cut out HUGE portions of it.

Really? You'd rather have a movie than the series itself? Okay, bro...

65 sounds about right. There was a LOT of filler in the Buu Saga. It's not even funny.

Cartoon Network?! Girl, you drunk. CN doesn't own DragonBall. And who cares about the sexual stuff and mature content? The DVDs are uncut, son. It's ALL gonna be in there. Nicktoons and Vortex can kiss my ass; if they don't have the balls to show it, then whatever, I don't care. Vortex/Toonzai/4Kids/whatever name they have to change to next is horrible at showcasing anime, anyway, and Nicktoons already glubbed up some with showing DragonBall GT. -_-
