CH1the battle begins

 

 

Pokemon Rangers, the guardians of pokemon and people alike. they are a symbol of peace in the elemental isle and are loved by all." recited an old man in his 60s. he wore a rustic red cloak, loose clothes, and walked with a cane.

 

"Head Chairmen Reece!" yelled a young man with short brown hair,wearing a ranger uniform running toward Reece.

 

The man turned his head away from the sunrise he was watching "what is it Mitch?" He asked.

 

"The new Students are coming!" Mitch replied.

 

"Good," said Reece as he returned to the sunrise.

 

"Ok, Ill go to the dock and welcome them" said Mitch, annoyed about rushing to tell Reece about the news.

 

-----------------------------------------------------------------Later that day

 

As the sunrise ended Reece walked to the bookshelf and pulled out an old leather bound book. he then opened it to the first page and began to read. "Pokemon Rangers are born fearless, Kind, and caring. they beleve pokemon and people are equals. and as such are protectors of both. A Ranger is born when a top student graduates and is entrusted with a styler. A styler is a device used to bind the ranger s and pokemons feelings. a partner pokemon is more than a pet, more than a companion, it is a friend. A ranger is a hero that destroys evil." Reece closed the book and looked at the title "What it means to be a ranger" he smiled and then opened the book to a blank page a inserted a photo of a group of rangers and himself. He sighed "Back to work. and welcome to the top ranger acadamey good luck to the new students." He said to himself. "Welcome to Unity island."

Alexia watched as Unity Island came into view on the horizon from the boat she was on "OH wow its so pretty" she said as it got closer

Mark was gently leaning on the railing of the boat. As Unity island got nearer he couldn't help but smile. "Finally there." He said.

Sara watched near the railing as they came closer to Unity Usland. Her cape waved in the breeze. "finally." she whispered to herself as she watched it come closer.

Zephyr smiled as the island came into view "Bout time" he said with his hands in his pockets and his nincada by his side.

Torchic jumped to Alice's shoulder and chirped happily. In a not-to-far away horizon, Unity Island came into view. "There's our dream, Torchic," she said as she stood watching the beautiful island growing bigger.

Zephyr looked down into the water and took a step back "what the!" he saw a black shape that looked like a wailord "No way! thats amazing" he said as he watched it until it dissapeared

"I wonder if we'll make new friends..." Alice wondered.

"being at the top of my class better pay off" said zephyr

"We're sure to have some good times here." Mark mouthed as his oddish stood beside him staring at the ocean.

f(you all do know we are on diffent boats right? im scared about failing to mention that if i didnt)

 

in about an hour all the boats began to dock at Unity island with Mitch waiting for them on the dock. "welcome students to Unity Island. The smallest of the Elemental isle but even though the island is small we have one of the greatest facilities for learning. "We all hope you enjoy your stay here and wish you the best of luck with your studies." he said.

 

Background: Mitch was one of the youngest rangers to become a top ranger. he was stationed to work at the school to help teach future minds to join his ranks. he is a bit of a klutz and often gets carried away but he still is one of the best. his partner is Jumpluff.

 

 

 

Zephyr just stared at Mitch thinking "Is this guy for real? he sounds less like a teacher and more like a real estate agent"

 

Nincada climbed up on Zephyrs shoulder

Mark was intently listening to Mitch's speech, quite interested by all of the things the school had to offer. Even his oddish was listening to Mitch with interest.

"now then i would like all of you to follow me to the auditorium"

Sara jumped off the boat she was in as her Ghastly floated beside. She said nothing, smiling at her Ghastly. She listened to Mitch's speech. "you ready Ghastly? We're going to become rangers." she said. She turned to Mitch, following him.

Mark and his Oddish walked down the boarding ramp of the boat he was on. "Here we go." Mark whispered as he began following Mitch.

Zephyr had his hands in his pocket "whatever"

Torchic and Alice ran up to catch up with Mitch. Little Torchic tripped and somersaulted half the way and landed right on it's face. Alice bent down, "Well, we sure are off to a good start, Torch," she said and holding Torchic in her hands, followed Mitch and the others.

 

((I'd like to call Torchic, Torch pwease?))

Mitch lead the group into a small auditorum with a stand and about one row of seats. It looked quite pathetic to the auditoriums at the ranger schools on the other islands. Mitch turned around and looked at them "could you all please take a seat. there are 17 of them but some of the boats are caught in some rough waters so your the only ones here for a few months. he said with a smile.

 

 

"Whatever" said Zephyr in a tone that clearly said I dont care and sat down on the fathest seat from the door. his nincada on his shoulder.

 

 

"Eh eh did i just get blown off by a child?" he asked the others a bit shocked.

"It would seem that way." Mark said making his way toward the chairs. He sat down in the 6th seat from the door. Once seated, he picked up his Oddish and sat it on his lap.

"thats kinda what i thought" said Mitch unhappily

Sara sighed and walked to a seat silently. She sat down and let her Ghastly float around her. "guess you did." she said to Mitch, not sounding offensive. She added in a short chuckle. Ghastly just stayed silent and floated around her.

Mitch walked up to the Podum sulking

Alice hurried to the auditorium and took a seat next to Mark and gave him a smile. Torchic accordingly chirped to Oddish. "I don't think we missed much, Torch," Alice said looking at Mitch trot up to the *podium.

Sara started fiddling with the end of her cape as she waited patiently. She aimed a little as she stated at Mitch. "aw don't get sad. I think you're going to have to get used to it." she said, shrugging. She returned her gaze to the end of her cape as she chuckled shortly again.

"Hey, he looks real sad..." Alice whispered.

"This is a terrible start for him" Mark thought. He quietly waited for Mitch to begin his speech.
