Xehanort losing his memories (SPOILER!)

Posted

So in the first scene of KH3D Braig asks Xehanort if he never lost his memory then Xehanort takes out his keyblade and stabs braig. So does he lose his memory? because in KH2 secret Ansem report 13 he wonders how Xehanort could use the dark corridors.

I think it was all just a convoluted plot by Goofy to take over the multiverse.

Some think he faked it, others think it was genuine but temporary.

I lean more toward the latter. Why?

In the scene where he tells Ansem/DiZ that his name is "Xehanort", Terranort's eyes are still MX-colored. But then later in Blank Points, we see him walking down the hallway with Braig, and Terranort's eyes are now brown.

Remember from the end of BBS, where Terra and MX were chatting inside "their" heart? I think Xehanort won that fight and took over. Don't know why he took Ansems name though.

That scene proves that Xehanort didn't lose his memories... well some of them maybe, but we know as Xemnas he remembered Aqua & Ventus. I remember in one of them Ansem Reports in KH2 where Ansem the Wise speaks of his apprentices losing their hearts voluntarily... personally i think Xehanort just stabbed them like he did Braig, Even & Ienzo!

He took Ansem's name because Goofy told him to, and Since Goofy is the incarnation of darkness, he listened. And goofy had him do it just to confuse the hell out of everyone.

lol yeah; he was like "Hyuck time to die Braig" :D

Probably an oversight by Nomura that will be explained in KH 3 or BBS Volume 2 in some extremely convoluted plot-line in an attempt to cover up the already confusing plot. Remember, in Kingdom Hearts, plot holes can be explained even if it doesn't make sense, and when Nomura can't think of something, just throw in time travel....

Yeah, man. It's been goofy all along. Thats why he faked his death that one time.

The worst Nomura cock-up was with Donald & Goofy... they hung around inside Yen Sid's Tower throughout BbS, but come KH2 they had no idea that Yen Sid resided in his Tower LOL!

I could watch Braig getting owned all day.

I think he was faking it .Not only what you said , but Ansem the wise also wondered how he opened the door to darkness ( with a keyblade). If he did have amnesia at all , it was just for a short time . Then he obviously faked the rest to get the apprentices to experiment and then follow him unwiittingly. Then , he summons his keyblade and stabs them all ( They didnt volunteer for that ). It was confirmed he did lie to everyone to further his plans the whole time

Exactly.. the whole talking to Aqua's Armour & sending Axel to C.O to find Ven's body, proved that as Xemnas.

this is because at the time goofy was time travelling in an attempt to make 13 goofys so that he could finally recreate the X-blade, and donald can't remember because at the time goofy had made him his 13th goofy, but then mickey managed to save him and so it's like with xehanort and he lost his memory, then when goofy went back to his own time he lost his memory then too

But basically, after Xehanort is defeated, all of Goofy's memories will come flooding back, and he will attempt to assume direct control again, or something like that.

Maybe Terra influenced to AX take Ansem's name, possibly because he wanted to escape being "Xehanort" any way he could think of, yet hated his own identity for failing to control his Darkness or save his friends.

Nah, it's the goofy thing.

I guess, most of us agree that the brown eyes meant that Xehanort and Terra formed a new person. The problem is that we do not know when his eye color changed.

I think, it was when their fight was kind of over and both of their memories were gone/merged to become AX.

Aside from that:

Don't you all think that there was a reason why this scene was played in first person? - his eyecolor.

I believe that we should not see his eye color.

Yellow eyes would have meant that he was Xehanort again. As we learned: Yellow eyes = Xehanort.

Brown eyes = ?

Blue and yellow does not make brown... Eraqus? His eyes were gray?

This sums it up quite nicely.
