Help with leaving worlds...

So I completed traverse town with both Sora and Riku, and I moved onto the next world with Sora, but I put Riku back in Traverse town to do some flick rush, find new treasure, etc. So I beat cite de cloches with Sora but I can't get Riku to leave traverse town! I have no idea how to get him back to the world map. I'm sure it's something really obvious and I'm just being stupid, but I'm at a loss here. Help?

    Go to a save point and choose "Leave World". Done.

    Go to a save point as Riku in Traverse Town. Open it, and you'll see an option to go to the World Map.
