How are you supposed to do this? I honestly do them as fast as possible and never get slowed by getting hit, and collect every treasure I can. The most I keep getting is Silver.

Is there a specific way to beat Queen Buzzerfly and get through TWTNW so I don't end up breaking the top half of my 3DS off? Think of the 3DS' health here.

 

*EDIT- I just beat TWTNW on my first re-try, so nevermind that. lol Still can't get an A beating Queen Buzzerfly though.

Yeah, Queen Buzzerfly is hard, I haven't done better than a C on it...

The best I can do is 1:31 seconds. It just seems like luck due to her nearly constant moving and very small attack opportunities. It seems broken.

Well when you get your score check the time bonus if it says x1000 then your ok on the time you got and you just need to get more points, but if it says x500 then you'll need to beat her faster by killing the 4 little bees in one swoop so you can quickly damage the boss. Hope this helps it was hard for me but I did it on standard and critical, maybe I'm just lucky

Yeah, that Queen was hard. You have to wait until the small bees attack you, and then destroy them as fast as you can, try to destoy them all at once, and then attack the Queen and don't stop! I think if you are fast enough you can kill her in 1 minute.

I know how to do it, my biggest issue is the little bees moving then Riku not attcking Queen Buzzerfly as fast as he needs to most of the time. It just seems luck based to me, so I was just hoping there was some kind of strategy to taking down the small bees faster consing waiting for them just eats up time. Like everything in this drop sequence does. And my time only nets me x500, and going by the faqs sheet, I was only 1 or 2 seconds off. Which I wouldn't have been if the freaking pos timer would stop as it goes in to slow motion and when your heading to the ring! That's just ungodly cheap.

I know this is old, but for other readers having the same problem

You save time with the bees by waiting til they all come at you at once, dodge (without moving the toggle so you stay in the middle), then brake so you still can see them, and then dive attack. They're all clumped together when doing this so it's faster.

 

Then just aim right and make sure to land all your hits on the Queen. You'll probably have to try this twice if you miss some of the dives hitting her. It has to be under 1:30 seconds, not 1:15.

Eh. It's too much work for a reward that is of no benifit to me. I have the Ultima Weapon for both Riku and Sora, and beating Julius was not have the aggravation that damn dive mission was(Mainly due to it not relying on luck and rather skill..). lol But good advice for anyone that wants it.

I just know most other ones where you collect prize points and all are 1:15 seconds time limit, so someone wrote elsewhere it was like them for it all, but I defeated the queen in 1.25 and got gold

Just need to get sora all gold now...

This is so hard to beat it makes me feel stupid!
