The circus has always been a wonderful place. Full of cheers,magic and laughter. So many skits,so many animals,so many tricks. A magical experience for people of all ages. Traveling all over the globe. There is one part of the circus though,that has always been special. One filled with fear,disgust,amazement.

THE FREAK SHOW

People would be attracted by the sayings of misformed creatures,monsters that could only appear in your nightmares. Unhuman beings that have been 'captured',born the way that they are. Unhuman,creatures of hell...people would pay money to see them,and of course,we showed them. Some would be scared,others would be amazed,many would have to be escused out of the tent to vomit their lunch...after we presented our show,we would pack up and leave until the next year or two. But not without bringing with us a couple of 'suveniers'.

Some of our bests shows are starting to grow old,so what we do is pretty simple. Whenever you children come to our circus. We watch you as you enjoy the show. Within the time,we choose a few of you,the 'chosen ones' if you preffer. When you leave the show,we slightly follow you~ When you fall asleep. We kidnap you~ If you get lost from your parents,wonder off,or even come alone by yourself...we'll make you ours. From that night on,you belong with us. You will be a part of our family,our shows,especially,our FREAK SHOW. If you already have a talent,fantastic,if you don't,it won't matter anyways.

We will fix you up ourselves.

Our special doctors will be more than happy to experiment on your bodies. To make you part of our show...to make you part of our family.

Carriges,trailers and cars rode down the road into a town. Music could be heard sounding from the big speakers that sorrounded the main carrige that leaded the way. People looked out of their homes and stopped what they were doing to stare as they passed by. Animals and a few people walking besides the carriges. "WELCOME EVERYONE,THE CIRCUS HAS ARRIVED! WE WILL BE PREFORMING TONIGHT AT 8! ATTEND OUR SPECTACULAR PREFORMANCE!" Flyers were being throwned out of the carriges into the streets for people to read about the show. In big letters the flyers said 'FREAK SHOW CIRCUS' with a drawing of their circus tent in its full bloom. Alexander who leaded the main carrige simply looked foward and a soft smile as they all passed through the town. Eventually they reached a clearing. It was big and spacy. This was perfect for them. The carrigers slowly started to organize themselves in a semi circular form and they all stopped. Alexander jumped off the carrge and patted the horses. He looked up and took out a golden cane that had laces and strings of different colors around it. "Alright everyone,lets get to work!"Alexander says,announcing that it was time to set things up for tonight's preformance. With that,he tapped down his cane,having all of the doors of the carriges,cars and trailers open,revealing the wonders,the staffs,the freaks.

Riliane saw the water explode on Alexander and couldn't help but laugh. But then she remembered Danielle and how Riliane had acted towards her earlier. She sighed, ashamed of herself for letting her own self-pity get the better of her.

Riliane heard Danielle shouting to Alexander that the water explosion was an "accident", which made her laugh more. It definately wasn't an accident. Maybe Danielle hated Alexander as much as she did.

She walked over to her tent to go talk to her. "... Hi..." Riliane said to Danielle. She felt her face getting red with embarrassment.

Danielle sat up in her hammock. "Hello there Riliane." Danielle noticed Riliane's face getting red and she started laughing. "No need to be embarrassed. All the newbies are like that the first day." she said standing up. "Oh, I hope that didn't offend you. Me calling you a newbie. I just don't consider this a family. A family loves everyone equally. No one loves Alexzander so this isn't a family in my book." She glanced around Riliane to see if Alexzander heard that. See that he wasnt coming over, she let out the air she had been holding in. "Whew. Thought I was dead there for a minuet. Come on in if you like. I can show ya some of my tricks." she said smiling.

Riliane nervously walked in the tent and her gaze shifted nervously here and there. "I-I'm sorry about saying that stuff earlier." Riliane said, a bit shakey. "I-I shouldn't be blaming you for what happened... It was my fault. I got myself into this, and now I'm facing the consequences." She traced a circle on the ground with her foot and tucked her hair behind her ears. She hated this emotional roller coaster her life was becoming. She'd been going from shy, to scared, to angry, to sad, to nervous, and to more anger. It almost physically made her nauseous. "I'm sorry." she said to Danielle again.

Danielle shrugged. "It's not your or my fault Riliane." She leaned her head closer to Riliane so only she could hear. "Alexzander is mad and this is all his doing." She motioned for Riliane to sit on a block of wood she had stole from the woods a couple I'd years ago. She asked Zander to burn it slightly so it wasn't all brown, so now it was a burnt black. "You don't have to apologize. I dont know what it's like to be... Deformed, but I know its not easy adjusting to it." Danielle shook her head. "But, lets change the subject."

Kurai laughed, her heartless, pitiful laugh. "So...I'm not surprised I'm not you favorite. Thanks for making me a mean mind " she laughed, yelling out of her cage. She flew out of her cage, sitting on some boxes, crossing her leg. "SO, your Felcia...Ha,ha. Welcome to your family." she said sarcastically. "More like the depths of hell" she whispered behind Alexander's back. "I'm Kurai, angel of darkness. Yup, The one and only full angel here." she laughed, flipping over standing on her hands for a second. She sat back down. "Ya know, I really don't know half of you guys..." she snapped, folding her arms, looking at Danielle and Riliane."To me, being deformed is a disadvantage against others, but also it can be bad as well. The police like to find us, and they might take us away." she grunted, looking down.

Felcia was glad that the circus people were trying to make conversation with her, and even began to smile. But then she remembered what she was going to do here, and her smile faded again.

"Thanks..." She muttered to Kurai.

Azura and Azure stared as Riliane and Danielle reconciliated with eachother. The twins then looked foward and walked to Felicia. "Hello,I'm Azure."Azure says. "And I'm Azura."Azura says. The two shook her hands. "We are pleased to meet you."The twins say. "We're twins,if you haven't noticed."Azure says. Azura then smacked him. "Ow,what was that for?!"Azure says. Azura then glared. "Ahem."Azura says. Azure looked foward and noticed Felicia's eyes. Azure rubbed the back of his head. "Oh,sorry,I didn't noticed that you were blind...but it's a good thing...if you were to see us you might get scared. We're kind of a bit grotesc looking at the moment..."Azure says. Azura nods and looked down at Felicia. "You can pretty much say you have fallen into Alexander's trap. Atleast,that's how I see it so far."Azura says. Azure looked around. "Speaking of which,where he go?"Azure asks as Alexander was there just a minute ago. Suddenly Dr.Fraken Stein came rolling in while dragging a table. He setted the table up and got a mantel on the table. He then rolled over to Riliane and got way upclose to her personal space. "I just realized that it is your 16th birthday. I could not come up with a good escuse of a good birthday gift for a 16 year old girl so I made you this doll with dead animal skin instead."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he handed Riliane the creppiest little doll. Dr.Fraken Stein rolled over to Felicia. "Alexander has told me not to touch you. So sad though. I already had started thinking of giving you some extra limbs..."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he rolled around. Alexander came back dragging a small cart with two different cakes. The cakes weren't that big so Alexander figured two cakes would feed the entire crew. He setted the two cakes on the table. One was gothic and dark,representing the dark side of the cirus...the other was pink and girly with the number 16 on it. "I don't know your taste so I made vanilla and chocolate. =u="Alexander says with a crazy smile. Dr.Fraken Stein rolled by. "I'm surprised you didn't became a baker."Dr.Fraken Stein says. "Are you kidding,who you think made the cakes for the royal family?!~"Alexander says giving pride to himself on the creations. Dr.Fraken Stein blinked. Alexander smiled and clapped his hands. "Gather around,we're gonna sing the birthday song~"Alexander says as he himself had a party hat on.

"I knew you were twins. Blonde surgically conjoined twins actually." She replied to Azure and Azura. "And I didn't fall into his 'trap'. I could escape if I wanted to...." At one point she thought about trying to control Alexander and let her go, but something always stopped her when she tried. If there was one Achilles heel that she had, it was anyone she respected or feared. Anyone like that was difficult to manipulate for her. And Alexander and Frakenstein... Were the main people she feared the most.

Riliane was very very very creeped out by the doll Dr. Fraken Stein gave her. She held it at arms length, afraid of it being too close to her. She looked over at the cakes Alexander brought out and just about snapped. It was like he was mocking her and she was tired of it. She threw the creepy doll at Alexanders head and stomped up to him. "I don't know if you're a very awful person, or just insane," she hissed in his face. "but in case you haven't noticed, I'm extremely angry and you acting like an idiot is just making it worse. I would appreciate it if you would leave. Me. Alone." She was right in his face, bearing her fangs. She was very tempted to bite him, just to see if it would hurt him enough to get the message.

Azure and Azura stared at Felicia. "So,you joined volunterrly?!"Azure asks. She must of had her reasons. But still...joining this circus was anything but a strike of good luck. Azura looked at Riliane and saw her freaking out and lashing out at Alexander. Alexander simply stared. He picked up the doll from the floor. "Look. You're angry. I know so. It is pretty obvious. I am just trying to make you feel like home since this IS your new home. Be angry all you want,but you'll have to cooperate EVENTUALLY."Alexander says as he gave her back the doll. "We are family. You might not understand the meaning of it now but soon you will. So appreciate what you're being given and don't be a brat about what you can't have anymore."Alexander says in a serious tone. Dr.Fraken Stein stared,making sure Alexander didn't ended up going out on a rage. There was a reason Dr.Fraken Stein himself has stitches all over his body...Alexander backed away and walked around. "Everyone here are your siblings. You should treat them well. I could of killed you or worse if I wanted to,instead I gave you a new,fresh start at life!"Alexander says. Azure and Azure stared. Alexander then picked up a knife and started to cut a piece of the chocolate cake. "Besides,if you think I am heartless. Give me credit,your parents won't be THAT heartbroken. After all,I left them a replacement for you."Alexander says as he offered her a piece of cake.

"Replacement?" Felicia asked. She didn't live with anyone to begin with, but she thought it strange that any parent would take a "replacement" and forget about their own children. "What do you mean?" She asked Alexander, curious as to what went on in his head.

There are many levels to a person's mind, starting from the immediate thoughts like a person's surrounding, what a persons thinking of at the moment, from which Felicia accesses daily and uses the most. Then there are even deeper levels. A person's memories, their characteristics, that Felicia had never tried to access before. So sure she could see what Alexander was thinking of from a surface point of view, but she could not read everything in him, and she truly wondered what went on in Alexander's head, or Stein's head for that matter.

"Ya know Alexander. I'm not eating that sugary vomit." Kurai laughed from the top of the boxes. "Hey, and don't you lose your little grip, Mr. Ringmaster." she mumbled, glaring at at Alexander, then looking at Dr. Stein. "He lost his grip on me last night, doing this." sh said, turning around showing Dr.Stein her wound from Alexander's whipping. "Alexander, you have never been able to handle me, you can never make me cooperate." she grunted, looking at his eyes, sharply glareing at them. "I can be a bad little angel if I want to." she said, standing in her hands, doing some flips.

Alexander looked at Kurai. "Yes but I wasn't talking to you."Alexander says. He turned back to Riliane and waved his hand. "See? She's as spoiled as they come."Alexander says. He then turned to Felicia as he noded. "Yes. I think I should explain. I made no mormal or ordinary replacement. A mannequin would be to weak,so I 'oredered' a Doppleganger from my brother."Alexander says as he took a bite of the delicious chocolate cake. Azure stared. "Doppleganger?"Azure asks. Alexander noded. " 'Doppleganger' is when a person looks exactly like you. There is a folktore of these creatures called 'Dopplegangers'. They are real. So I ordered a few from my brother once a while to leave a replacement for those who are missing. Sometimes I don't have enough to fill EVERY kid we kidnap but it works to lower suspicion of the Circus."Alexander says. He didn't care of they bealived him or not. He would prove if asked,though he really didn't wanted to. He ate more cake. "Since Riliane was captured first her family got the last Doppleganger. They're probably celebrating their birthday party as we speak,as they suspect nothing about it."Alexander says. "They are useful tools...this cake is good."Alexander says as he ate.

Felicia sighed. She understood why people despised Alexander. He seemed to have everything planned out, the only thing he neglects are people's emotions.

"I think I'd rather not be in here," Felicia said quietly. "Too many people. I'm going to walk around, if that's ok with you." She asked Alexander, not knowing whether or not she needed permission for such things anymore.

Doppleganger. The word echoed in Riliane's head. Her parents didn't even know she was gone... Didn't have any idea of what happened... "No..." she said, clenching her fists. "No no NO! You're a filthy liar Alexander! I won't believe any of that crap!" she shouted, trying to hold on to some hope. "There's no way...! YOU'RE LYING!!" She couldn't take it anymore. The fact that her parents... They didn't even know... No. It wasn't true. It couldn't have been. Th-They wouldn't believe the Doppleganger was her anyway! Right?

Riliane didn't care about what the stupid consequeces were, but she started in a dead sprint away from the camp. She had no idea where she was going and she knew they would either catch her or kill her or something, but she just couldn't be in that place one more freaking second!

Kurai looked down as she saw Riliane run away. "You know Alexander, she is right. You are a lying to all of us." she hissed flying in front of him. "You are an ignorant fool who likes to kill and transform people because of your life! Something happened that your not telling us!" she yelled, clenching her fist. "I will not be the one getting that girl.And I don't want her to go through what I had to go through!" she yelled, turning around, showing her wound. "You really bother me Alexander! You just keep us here as your prisoners! Why apart we here in the first place? To make us happy or something?!" she yelled in his face.

Alexander watched as Riliane ran off. Dr.Fraken Stein stood up from his chair. "Should I?"Dr.Fraken Stein asks. Alexander shook his head. "No. Give her a headstart. I'll summon something to get her before she ends up hurting herself."Alexander says as he finished his piece of cakle. Alexander looked at Kurai and smirked. "Well,I don't want you to go after her. It's dangerous in the woods..."Alexander says He setted down the plate and fork. Alexander looked up at Kurai. "Yes. You are right. Something DID happened that changed my prespective of human life and unhuman life...but that is for me to keep secret. The reason you are here is simple. We are a family,and that is that."Alexander says with a sincere smile. He then patted Felicia's head. "Sure. You can walk around. But don't go outside the perimeters."Alexander says. Dr.fraken Stein stared. "Give more confidence to your preformers Alexander."Dr.Fraken Stein says. Alexander turned with a smirk. "It's not that I don't trust them. You don't know where we are do you?"Alexander asks. Dr.Fraken Stein stared. "What you mean?"Dr.Fraken Stein asks. Alexander seemed to giggle as he moved his hands to his pocket. "SLENDER MAN lives in these woods~"Alexander says. Dr.Fraken Stein's eyes widened. Alexander took out his flute. He started to play a distintive note. Suddenly red markings appeared on the floor around him. Suddenly these disgusting and grotesc creatures started to crawl out from the markings. They were definately bigger than Alexander. Just as big as Stampede,maybe an inch smaller. The twins started to shake. Alexander smiled and looked up. "The sun is starting to set. Please get her for me my Vamps."Alexander says as the 5 creatures ran off after Riliane. Their bodies almost like skeletons...Alexander looked around. "Everyone,start packing up."Alexander says. He looked at Skye and the twins. "You two,as soon as we get moving,you will need to enter one of the carriges while we travel at night. SLENDER MAN could easily take you as children."Alexander says. He turned to Felicia. "Go for a walk,I'll get you when we're ready to go."Alexander says. He then looked at Dr.Fraken Stein. "Get me Zander. We need him to make a light around us as we travel. I'm getting the lanterns ready."Alexander says as he walked away.

Danielle saw Riliane run off and started to go after her. She took a few steps forward and stopped. 'I'm not risking getting caught for her. Soon, we'll make our escape, but not yet.' She sighed and slowly walked to her tent to take it down. Before going into her tent, she stood by Zander's tent and peeked in. "Hey, um, Alexzander's looking for you. He wants you to make light for the travel."

Rilianes throat burned, she had been running for quite a while. It was already starting to get dark out. She decided to sit down on a rock and rest, though it probably wasn't a good idea. They were probably out looking for her right now and would find her if she sat still long enough. But, either way was pretty much fine for her. She didn't care if they just came and killed her. She sighed.

Riliane heard something. Almost like footsteps. She whirled her head around, looking for whatever made the noise. "H-Hello?" she called out. The trees of the woods blocked out a lot of light, so it was hard to see the demonic looking creatures, right before they attacked her. She struggled and kicked as they wrestled her to the ground, but she wasn't strong enough to get loose.

They didn't try to kill her though. They just grabbed ahold of her and dragged her back to the camp. As soon as she saw Alexander, she struggled and kicked some more. "Let me go!" she screamed. She was thrown down at Alexander's feet, defeated.

Felicia began to walk around the camp. She looked at all of the vantage points, ways of escaping, and then imagined how she would get caught.

She used to feel almost invincible, despite the fact that she was blind, because she had her abilities. She hadn't even considered her weaknesses and limitations until she came to this place. And now every minute she found more and more chinks in her armor, and she felt powerless.

"This man," She said to herself referring to Alexander. "I don't know if he's a type of psychic like he says he is, but I do know he has a passive kind of power all his own. There's something about him that just makes me feel... Helpless. I've never felt this way before, and I'm blind for crying out loud!" She shouted, feeling embarrassed when she noticed how loud she was talking to herself.

She plopped on the ground and curled up into a ball.

"Should I do what I ask just to save my own skin?" She asked herself. "I'm too afraid to even think about what would happen if I disobeyed him. But what would the others think of me if they found out I was helping him? This is so hard..."

This kind of decision was defineatly not one she had planned on making today.

Kurai yawned, noticing it was pitchblack and that Riliane was back. Kurai's heart sank into a dark hole. "Alexander...dont hurt her to bad." she snapped at him, her feeling really sorry for Riliane, wanting to take the pain Alexander would giveh Riliane and force it on herself. Kurai walked into her black and navy carrige, and the gaurds chained her up, so she lie down on what was a torn matress, it had blood stains and holes, even small feathers. She grabbed up a thick red cotton blanket, and placed it on her. Kurai instantly fell into a silent sleep, her black wings folded.

Dr.Fraken Stein prepared the carriges. Alexander turned and looked down at Riliane. "There you are. I was starting to worry."Alexander says. He knelt down and grabbed her by the shoulders. "You shouldn't run off like that into the forest. You wouldn't want SLENDER MAN to get you now would you. Those who he catches are never seen again after all."Alexander says with a dark smirk. He then stood up and twirled his cane around as he made it appear from his pocket. He walked around and petted his Vamps. "You guys did amazing. Great job."Alexander says,petting them and talking to them as if they were nothing but puppies. Alexander whistled. "Dr.Fraken Stein~"Alexander called. Dr.Fraken Stein rolled by and threw a severed arm. Alexander threw it as the Vamps started to eat it all. "Now lets make this quick. Cause we need to get going before SLENDER MAN catches us like sitting dusks. Choose your punishment: Whip,Week of Starvation,or acid?"Alexander simply asks. The twins stared from affar,they were scared of what was going on now. Especially since the SLENDER MAN. Was now in the woods around them.

Felicia slowly walked up to Frakenstein, practically scared to death of him.

"S-stein?" She asked stuttering. "Are we- leaving? Am I gonnna be put in a- cage?" She asked.

Dr.Fraken Stein stared. He blinked a few times and looked upfront. "No. We're in a hurry so we're just gonna get all of you in the same carrige. There are some pillows in the carrige so you can rest. But whatever you do,don't look outside the windows."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He looked upfront at Alexander comfronting Riliane. He shook his head and rolled to a carrige. He opened the door. The carrige was pretty spacy. Only had lots of pillows laying around. "Get in Felicia."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He then rolled to the twins and pulled them. "You two,into the carrige,we're leaving in a few minutes."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he pushed them over to the carrige. He then walked to Skye. "You too."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he dragged Skye with the rest. "Get in the carrige,and whatever you do,do not look out the windows ad we move. This is a warning for your sake."Dr.Fraken Stein says.

Felicia turned her head around at the others, and her stuttering fear began to fade.

(Maybe if I don't tell them what I'm gonna have to do, I can be friends with them...) she thought.

She also wondered what would she see outside the windows. (Maybe if someone is driving our carriage from the outside, I can get a view of what's outside without any real danger to myself) she thought. (I can even try projecting what I see into the other's minds. Well I can try at least, I don't think I've ever tried that before. But if I can make illusions in someone's head, why can't I show someone something real?)
