My forecast for Sora says that Snouted Lout portal is sighted in La Cite des Cloches which I found out is in the Court of Miracles.The problem is that I see no portal links around the area. I have a similar prob goes to the portal in Snowgleam Wood in Symphony of Sorcery for Riku. The forecast says Ruler of the Skies is sighted but none of the Link Portals relate to the forecast. I'm wondering if this is the Sora/Riku link portal glitch and if there's a solution.

That's a glitch that's affected a ton of people with this game. Unfortunately, there's no real solution at the point you're at.

 

If you start a new game though, skip the "Keyblade War" flashback, because that's what triggers the glitch. You can watch it later, after you regain control of Sora, but just skip it when it first gives you the chance.

well that sucks. i was planning to get materials that's only attainable through portals and make the dream eaters I want and transfer them into critical mode.

Yeah, it's pretty stupid. Here's hoping they release a patch for it

There are some instances where the separate link portals for Sora and Riku are switched. This means that the portals for Sora are unlocked by Riku, and vice versa. This happens depending on how you complete "The World That Never Was". Do not go to the real world version of the castle as Riku, until you beat Xemnas in Sora's dream world version of "The World That Never Was". If you beat Ansem, and then try to walk to the castle in the real world, Riku drops, and then it is switched to Sora. Then, if you continue the course of events and beat the game, the glitch seems to come into effect.

 

If you want to test whether the glitch has come into effect or not, go through each map on "The Grid", and try to beat a special portal (not the boss portals) you have not completed yet. Then, look at the new portal entry in Reports. If it comes up as the wrong person, you know the glitch has happened.

I had the same issue on my game. It's actually caused by poor programming in the last world that happens no matter which character you beat it with first. Since you switch between characters without a proper drop, the portals still think that you are playing with the character you dropped with. There are two ways to fix it.

 

1) Perform two drops without interacting with ANY portals, special or otherwise. This means if you have already interacted with at least one portal in your current character session, you will have to drop three times. I have noticed that this tends to switch the portals back to their correct characters.

 

2) Beat the game again. This will essentially cause you to activate the glitch again, which will cause the portals to switch again. This method has worked for some, but not for others. If you attempt this method it may take two or more attempts to work correctly.
