Like if a new game comes out do some kind of coverage on it ASAP so people will find your videos on it when they look for stuff related to it. Also tag it properly so it will show up on someone's search.

 

That's a dangerous way to play it. It's usually better to get a clear idea fo what you want to do, rather than racing to be first.

This only works if you extrapolate it over a long time, and it's not guaranteed.

I've seen a lot of great videos on youtube that only get like a thousand views in their lifespan

Content worth watching is all well and good, but it doesn't do much if nobody knows about it
