Our Worlds are Ours Alone (1 x 1 with Sora's Baby)

Posted

Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

Just follow the usual Roleplay and Forum rules and such. That is all.

I was just about to do that.

Druaga: End of the World.

Micah yawned. It had been a long, arduous journey from his home to the cliff-side path he rode on now, and he more or less enjoyed it. Sure, it was boring, long, and not necessarily any sort of interesting...but it was pleasant. At least to Micah.

Where was he now?

Currently he rode on an old caravan with two hooded humans -an older gentleman who got off on a previous stop claimed they were 'Pilgrims'-, and elven girl, and another older Beast-Kin (The same as Micah). They were all riding on a mountain path, with a massive rock on one side, and nothing but a cliff on the other.

Micah lazily looked at the other members that were riding, his cat-like ears twitching a bit as he looked at them all. No one really struck his eye, save for the Elven girl who sat near him.

Kaisse gazed at the road. It was weird, but she just like to watch things, people, places, everything. She could just sit there and watch life pass, she didn't mind it. This trip would be the first time she had ever acted and not just watched. She was proud of herself. She just wished her mom could see this. She looked at the two people-if she could say that-next to her. In truth they-as in the other two-were Beast-Kin or in her langue Animals of the higher Ups,or the Gods as the were so called.

She saw one of them look at her."U-um,is something wrong, sir?" She asked.

Micah's hearts' pulse raced a bit, making him quickly turn away. I can't believe I got caught staring. What am I, some sort of pervert? He thought sadly, sighing a bit. "M-My apologies miss." He said aloud, turning his gaze back unto the outside world.

I know most Elves regard us highly...but honestly, I'm no god. Micah thought, his ears drooping as his emotions dropped; his tail swishing only a bit as he silently thought to himself.

Kaisse looked away. "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to sound so rude." She said quietly.

She went back to looking at the road. "Mother,wind..do you hear me,mother, sun,do you see me,Mother,Light..will you guide me? " She asked the spirits.

She tilted her head and looked at the sky." Listen to the wind " She heard her mother say.

"It's fine." Micah replied, turning his head to watch the older Beast-Kin lean over to him.

"Don' mind 'er. Elves are always so 'umble like that." He said, his voice thick with an accent, soon leaning back. Micah gave him a strange look, confused at to why he would say such a thing. Of course, Micah had never met an Elf before.

He sighed again, wishing this entire ride would be over already.

Kaisse leaned out of the cart and listened. "Oh my Rider! Is anyone else on this path with us? " She asked suddenly.

She looked over at the two. "Otherwise...I hear thieves...or at least the sound of hoofs,it's kind of far off and faint." She sighed.

"Mother, you were right...listen to the wind." She thought slowly and kept an eye out.

"Nope, not supposed to be any sort'a travelin' on this road. I should be the only caravan today." The rider said from up front, leaning a bit to look back into the cabin. "Yer sayin' there's bandits? Damn...well, I know to trust them Elf ears. Sensitive things they are. A bit more sensitive than Beast-Kin ears, anyways." The rider said, his accent just as thick as the Kin who sat next to Micah.

Micah looked down, sighing as his gaze returned to the elven girl.

Why do I keep looking at her? Sure, she's kinda...gah! Micah thought, wrenching his gaze away again.

"Yes,bandits,or something like that." Kaisse said and shifted her gaze behind them.

"What do we do,cart-sir?" She asked. "Do we fight or,do you think we can out ride them?" She asked.

She sighed. "I could always fight..mother?"  She asked.

"Just see if yer intuition is right er not." The rider said, flicking the ropes to enforce a quicker pace from the horses. The jolt nearly made Micah fall over, but thankfully the other Beast-Kin grabbed his collar before he could.

"T-thanks." He said quietly, the man nodding once.

Micah sighed, massaging his ears; a movement done to work out stress. "Damn.." He murmured, wondering why he had become so worked up all of a sudden.

Kaisse looked at the road.  "I'm sorry, but stop. I can't walk from here and I don't want you to get hurt,cart-sir." She said and looked at the sky.

"Mother..spirits,am i doing the right thing." She asked to herself.

"Follow your heart." Kaisse heard her mother's voice.

The rider sighed. "Fine, miss. Might as well." He turned the cart to sit alongside the mountain itself-- as far away as possible from the edge of the cliff. The older Kin began to climb out; while the two hooded humans remained in their seats, silent as ever.

Micah looked again at the elf girl.

"Um...excuse me..." He said in a quiet tone,  "A-are you sure there's bandits?"

Kaisse hopped out. "Don't you hear THAT?" She asked and hopped of the cart.

"I know what I hear! See,this guy understands." She looked at the older Beast-Kin.

"Thank you sir." She said.

Micah halted, listening a bit; his cat-like ears twitching as he strained them to listen to any sort of sound. Sure enough-- a far off sound could be heard...like several horses trotting together. "Something's coming." He whispered, patting the wooden staff he carried.

"I'm not the harming type..." He said, backing up. "I really don't want to get into a fight."

Kaisse looked at the feet. "I...see. I don't like t fight either, but I can't let other's get hurt either! I'm sorry. " She said and pulled her sword out of it's hilt.

"I don't let anyone around me get hurt,It's the promise I made to my mother." She said with a smile.

She gave a sad look."So it doesn't matter if you fight." She said.

Micah took out his staff, looking to the girl.

"I'll...follow your resolve." He said in his usual quiet tone, shakily readying his staff before him, willing the elements to come under his control. A gust of wind flew around him, causing him to blink several times to prevent his vision from blurring. Micah's dual-colored eyes shined brightly, his mouth moving in silent whispers as he began a silent chant.

Sure enough though, three horses came around the bend, the middle rider raising a curved sword. "Gust!" Micah cried, a turbulent wind rushing forth and knocking the rider off.

Kaisse felt her face redden. "He wants to fight with me,even with him being scared?" She felt her lips form a smile.

She looked and him quickly. "Well thank you, sir." She said.

She gasped. "Oh."

Micah nodded, stepping backwards-- jumping when his back felt a pinprick of pain. Swiveling on his heel, he turned to see the robed humans from earlier...except they had daggers drawn, and malice in their barely-visible eyes.

"Give us all of your valuables, and your lives will be spared." They said in unison.

"I..uh..!" Micah mumbled, fumbling with his staff before hitting the male on the head.

Kaisse pointed her blade at one of the riders. "Do you think that's going to happen?" She asked.

"I dislike people-humans like this. Stealing from a persons life." She said.

"Now,give up!" She said her face turning mean.

"Do you think we'd live if we left empty-handed? Our boss does not take kindly to those who do not finish their jobs." The once-hooded man murmured, and in turn he received a bonk on the head from Micah's staff.

"I see." The female said, thrusting her dagger forward, the point digging into Micah's shoulder. He winced in pain, realizing the pain was the least of his worries.

"My dagger has a deadly poison coated on it...but I guess you've already figured that out." The female said, Micah beginning to stumble as his arm lost all feeling.

Kaisse felt her face grow red from anger. "Leave us alone." She cried and pointed her blade to the women.

"Don't worry, step back, I can handle them all." She said.

"Mother...do I...like him? Something so above me." She thought.

"Grgh..." Micah shuffled backwards, nearly tripping over himself. His legs felt like lead; He could barely move them-- whatever the woman had put into certainly seemed good at paralyzing him...but he wasn't dead. Yet.

Micah faltered, falling to his knees as he cried out in pain. "I...I can't move.." He muttered, looking to the elven girl. "I-I need to help everyone.."

Kaisse's eyes went wide. "E-esuna!" She cast on him.

"Please get up." She whispered weakly.

Her eyes filled with tears. "I-if you die...I'll..be...sad." She whispered.

Micah gasped for air, the poison in his bloodstream dissolving quickly.

"Thanks." He said, standing up as quick as he could. Another chant was heard from his mouth-- a gust of wind hurling the female into the side of the hard wooden caravan. "We still have to deal with that male, and two riders.." Micah said, turning with his mouth agape to see one of the riders attach a small bomb to an arrow.

H-he doesn't plan to...oh Gods he is. Micah thought, rushing over to the elven girl-- attempting to knock her down and save her from the impending blast. I hope the driver and the other Kin are safe..
