Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

Kaisse walks behind him. "Okay." She said lamely.

She gave a weak smile. "Anyway, like flowers?" She asked.

Micah smiled, "Yes. My village had a lot of them. Not enough to be famous for--but there are plenty of large flower patches." Micah said, his eyes shining with nostalgia. "I kinda miss my home...but, this place is kind of nice, too."

At that point, they were second in line. It seemed they would soon be sitting down.

Kaisse nodded."Your lucky." She said.

"Flowers were always ruined where I came from." She told him.

"Well, think about it. Tonight is the flower festival. I get the feeling it isn't going to be about dough and bread, but instead about one of nature's greatest beauties." Micah said, looking around. He didn't notice though, that they were know up and ready to speak to the host.

"Micah? The host is waiting for us." Kaisse told him.

She smiled weakly and bowed to the host. "This is quant." She whispered.

"Ah, sorry." Micah said, turning to the waitress. She was a Kin, like Micah, she had cat ears and tall. Unlike him, she was at least 25, and had a sterner look, like someone who had dealt with all types before.

"Table for two, please." Micah asked kindly, and the Kin eyed both Micah and Kassie. She shrugged, and quietly gestured for the both of them to follow her. Thankfully, she stopped only feet away--at a table that practically bordered the street, and had a pleasant view of the church.

Kaisse walked behind Micah. She glanced about the area. "I like it here so far." She said to Micah.

She smiled at how peaceful it was. At least it was for the meanwhile.

"As do I." He said, his ears perking up. His tail swished slowly, finally having calmed down. A waitress came by at that point, setting down some bread and water before hurrying off, leaving them both alone again.

"Kind of fancy." Micah muttered, looking at what was given to them, "I used to just normal things, but this is kinda extravagant.."

"Me too." Kaisse agreed.

She gave a weak smile. "I'm better at things I understand anyway."

"Mhmm." Micah mumbled, nibbling into a bit of bread. It was warm, and chewy on the inside, with a flaky light-brown crust--and the taste was divine.

"This..is some good bread." Micah said in between bites, munching happily. "Would you like a roll?"

Kaisse tilted her head. "Of the bread?" She asked.

She slowly nodded. "I'm not sure.I don't want to seem rude and not like it." She told him.

"It's fine, not everyone likes everything." Micah said, gently pushing the basket of bread towards Kassie a bit.

Micah yawned, his ears flicking back a bit as he did so, sharp fangs pointing out.

Kaisse nodded. "I agree with that." She said while taking a roll.

She took a bite. She was shocked. "It's great!" She smiled.

Micah laughed and smiled, "See? It's not so bad!" He cheered, his smile great and friendly.

Only a few seconds later did the waitress return, who set down two bowls of soup. "Thank you for coming." She said, before rushing off.

"What is this?" Kaisse asked Micah.

"If this has meat in it I can't eat it." She told him.

Micah took the available spoon and scooped up a bit, sipping quietly. Suddenly, he jerked back, the spoon nearly falling out of his hand.

"Bleh..it's tomato soup.." He grumbled, "I hate tomatoes.."

"Are you really so picky?"Kaisse asked him.

She took a bite. "Oh this is a little bitter." She whispered.

  • Author

"I really don't like tomato soup. It tastes weird to me. I don't mind if it's in a sauce, since it's mixed with other stuff." Micah explained, pushing his bowl away, "I'm not that picky." Micah said, taking out another roll to nibble on it. A sweet. flowery smell wafted through the air, signifying the beginning of the flower festival.

Kaisse sneezed."Ah-choo!" She covered her nose.

"I'm very sorry." She whispered.

Micah smiled happily, almost laughing.

"An elf, allergic to pollen?" He said, smiling brightly. His green eye glinted in the soft light that was lighten by a nearby brazier, and he gently poked Kassie on her cheek, "I ...strangely find that quite adorable." He said, continuing his friendly grin.

Kaisse blushed."Slightly." She said.

She started to quickly eat. She spoke after: "Can we take a stroll after?"

"Of course!" Micah said. He suddenly got the feeling that someone was watching him, and turned to hir left to look down the alleyway directly across from him. Even with his superior vision, the person could be barely seen in the dark passage.

Micah turned back, confused, and went to look again--but the person was gone.

"Micah?" Kaisse asked.

She pushed the bowl away from her. "Well I'm done."

"Ah...it's nothing. Anyways.." He murmured, looking around. The cafe was almost empty now--only two other tables were occupied. Not that there were many, there was about eight tables in the small colonnade, with a pearly white wooden fence lined at the top with flowers that enclosed the perimeter.

"Whelp.." Micah sat back in his seat, and the waitress returned. She said nothing, and merely placed down a slip of paper before walking off.

"I guess we can order now." Kaisse said slowly.

She started to look at all the food. "Oh,...I see a lot of things I eat." She said.
