Jade back's away. "I need a stake ans Silver and to run...far away. Ceal tell the Master I wish them well and Chicken Poxs."She says back farther. "I'm just staying far...far away from him." Jade says before turning around and running back to her room.

"Oh no you don't." Cealus said, grabbing Jade by the collar, "Come along now, we've got things to do." Already the Doctor had seemingly disappeared, presumably haven already made it to where ever the service was being held.

Jade was pale. "No..no...I'm not staying." She said scared. "I can't be near that...thing!" She said starting to shake. "S-sorry." She said I don't like b-b-blood at all! t sc-sc-scares me!" She looked at the floor.

Cealus managed a smile, leaning in to give Jade a hug. "Hey it's alright....that guy was just trying to tease you." Cealus let go, and began walking a bit on his own, looking around. He noticed a large gathering of sad looking students at the Master's Hall.

"Hey!" Cealus said, waving his hand at Jade, "I found it!"

"Hah hah." Jade said shaking her head and walking behind him. "Let's just go in then." She even though she was still shaking. She rapped her arms around her body and took a deep breath.

"Alrightey." Cealus got in line with the other students, and Cealus kindly opened the door for Jade, and one or two of the other Apprentices. "So, you two finally decided to show up." There, stood Master Varius. "You're alive!: Cealus exclaimed, looking over the old Master. Even though Varius was alive, he had a broken arm, and was standing on a crutch. "What...happened?"

Jade walked in behind Ceal (somehow). "So did it get killed, are we all dead, is Ceal's father okay?" Jade asked all at once. All the while thinking" Forin wanted to see us... I bet she hates me now..."

  • Author

Varius sighed, straightening his crutch, gasping a bit. "I will...speak to Cealus about his father later. The Qualia.....escaped. We could not defeat it, w barely managed to buy ourselves some time."

He's going to speak to me later....I have a bad feeling about this... Cealus thought, getting very worried.

"Oh~ hahaha. Ve~rr~y funny." Jade said crossng her arms over her chest. "This isn't the time to joke." She said. "So I'll ask again is it still free?" She asked again. "Because if it isn't some people are going to die." She said.

Varius nodded, "He is. But from what he said, he prefers to be at the front line, using that short 'avatar' of his. I managed to fracture it, so it'll take him some time to recover the avatar. Otherwise, he'd be a giant floating abyssal demon, only able to influence people's actions." Varius sighed, looking away. "We vastly underestimated him."

Jade sighed. "Right, so let me guess made a big ball of light and it swatted it back at you." She said and sigh more deeply this time. "Okay,so went do you teach it?" Jade asked.

  • Author

"How...how do you know about the R-Cannon? And no, we don't teach it. It's reserved for Masters only, a technique requiring many people that is used in only the worst emergencies possible." Varius straightened up, and began to shuffle off. "The ceremony will be starting soon. Both of you take your seats."

"Oh! So you mean-" Jade laughed and grabbed Ceal's hand. She dragged him to their seat's and sat down. She waited for Ceal to do the same. "Anythng Ceal." She said.

  • Author

"H-hey!" Cealus exclaimed in protest of being dragged around. He dusted himself off, then promptly sat down into the seat next to Jade. Within a few minutes, everyone present had taken their seats.

Varius stood on the large stage before them, and he coughed. "Today we must understand the graveness of death...and know what grievance lies beyond it..." Varius went through the whole ceremony like that, with a somber tone. Finally, after what felt like an hour to Cealus, and Varius nodded.

"We complete the ceremony for those who died. However, it is time I say something. After our unsuccessful mission in dealing with the being known as the 'Qulia' this academy is to be put under high alert. Missions will become more secure, and leaving these grounds will know have to be verified by a Master. Failure to do so will result in temporary detention."

Jade sighed and nodded. "Seems like Forin's going to have a lot to hear."Jade thought to herself. Jade tapped Ceal on the shoulder. "Ceal?" She asked." A lot indeed."She thought to herself.

"Yes?" Cealus said back, turning to look at Jade with dark grey eyes. "What do you need?" He cocked his head a bit, in a silly manner that only Cealus could pull off, and still look very serious.

"Ceal, do you think Forin hates me? I want a read truthful answer from you." Jade said. She frowned slightly as if she knew she wouldn't like the answer. She slightly tilted her head at the same time.

  • Author

"O-of course not!" Cealus exclaimed, looking at Jade intensely. "I think she just dislikes both of us, because...y'know, we're all laid back and stuff, liking one another, while she thinks everything should be more serious. I guess she sees as immature." Cealus sighed, slinking back into his seat.

Jade nodded. "Ceal, could you hold my hand?" She asked weakly. She looked at Ceal. "It would make me feel better." She said after. "Please?" She asked. Jade gave a weak smile.

  • Author

"Uh, sure." Cealus said, gently holding on to Jade's hand. He watched as the procession of Master's picked up and carried the coffins out of the room. The room was quiet, except for the occasional murmuring of the talkative people.

"Thank you." Jade wispered blushing. Jade didn't like blood and liked death even less. In only thing that made things more horrible was the fact that now getting mission was going to be nearly impossible.

Cealus nodded, getting the suspicion that Jade wasn't one for the mentioning, thought, or sight of death or anything related to it. Cealus made a mental note to ensure something like that wouldn't happen. He sighed, wondering how long the funeral service would last.

Jade sighed. "I think it...almost over." Jade wispered. She thought she could hear a few other students talking. "Anyway Forin wanted to see us....I hope it's good." Jade wispered.

Varius stood back in the middle of the stage, declaring the funeral over. Cealus sighed, standing up. "Yeah, let's go see Forin. I'm sure it'll be fine..." Cealus stretched, offering to take Jade's hand again.

Jade took Ceal's hand and blushed. "Most likely anyway." Jade said. She also got up. "So let's go." She said and started to race off pulling Ceal behind her. "Ceal keep up~" Jade teased.
