Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

In Jade's dream she was running from someone, their face was hidden. Everything was on fire. People were dieing before her every eyes. Jade woke up panting like crazy.

Cealus woke up several times, throughout the rest of the day, and the remainder of the night. Sometimes Master Varius would be there, sometimes Xine, but mostly, no one at all. Cealus didn't mind, as whatever magic Master Xine used, it made Cealus' mind foggy. This was to reduce pain felt, and at this point, Cealus felt very little.

At one point, Cealus froze. His eyes clouded, and a voice whispered into his ear. Unlike the Qualia, the voice sounded serene, and pure.

"I am the remiander of the X-Blade. You, who carry one of the seven pieces of light, have yet to see your destiny. And her, who carries the other piece." Cealus gasped, then quickly went unconscious.

Jade felt herself pale a bit. She got out of bed and washed her face. "Man,what a crazy dream. I think it gets more real each time a have it. Which lately is a lot." Jade looked around the bathroom.

When Cealus awoke again, he felt himself back in his own state of mind. There, leaning against a wall, was Master Xine, whom was quietly writing on a clip-board. He looekd up, seeing Cealus was awake.

"Patient has awoken. How are you feeling?" Xine asked, looking rather bored. "Uh, good." Cealus responded. Master Xine wrote something down, muttering something about him never getting to have fun. With that, he left.

Jade yawned as she left the bathroom, only now noticing how dark it was and that her light was on. "Ugh, it either really early or late." She when over to her window. "It's morning." She yawned again.

Cealus attempted to get up, but there was still small burns on his chest, probably something Xine had left as an incentive for Cealus to not move around too move.

"Gah...it's going to be so boring today...." He muttered with a scowl.

Jade sighed. "Might as well get ready." She thought with a yawn. She looked away from the window and headed back into the bathroom. She quickly bathed and changed and got ready for today.

Cealus tossed and turned over the course of the following hour or so. "I can't stand this!" He muttered to himself, gingerly attempting to sit straight. It stung, but slower movement granted less pain. He sighed.

"Sorry Jade. Probably should've blocked better.." He said, poking the area around his burns.

Jade came out of the bathroom fresh and clean."Better go see Ceal and Forin. She thought to herself and walked out of her room. She quickly went to see Ceal. Finally she arrived at the infirmary.

Master Xine once again entered the room, examining Cealus once more. He continued writing notes on his pad, murmuring things to himself.

"I've noticed...why do you talk wierd when your doing something related to medicine?" Cealus asked.

"I retain a professional disposition for my own sake." Master Xine responded, not even batting an eye.

Jade entered the infirmary and walked up the stares.(Sigh I still can't spell.) She went right to Ceal's room and opened the door."Hello there my little accident waiting to happen." She teased then saw Xine. "Oh goodness." She muttered.

Master Xine rolled his eyes, and left the room. Cealus sat up, a weak smile on his face.

"I'm not an accident." He protested, looking hurt, "There was something about that guy...something really wrong. He felt weird as we fought. Like...he wasn't really there...or maybe, there was more to him than I thought."

"I don't know....maybe we should call him evil and get it over with." Jade said and walked over to Ceal's bed.

"Um,anyway can I have a sit." She asked pointing at the chair next to his bed. "Or are you going to make me stand here all day?" She gave a weak smile and tilted her head.

Cealus smirked. "Well..yes. I mean, I'm not going to say no or anything." His smirk changed to a small, not as weak, nor as cheerful as his normal 'cocky' smile was on a regular basis. "I fee a lot better, though. I'm sure I'll be out and about soon."

"You better be." Jade said sitting down. She gave Ceal a look over. "Well if you only got burnt it shouldn't take much more than a few days, I mean you look much better alread." She cheered.

Cealus nodded. "I think I recall Master Xine saying it would only take a day or two for me to heal. Why he wouldn't just heal me fully is beyond me..." Cealus sighed, looking up at the white-washed ceiling.

Jade nodded. "I have no idea either,he's a weird one." Jade said and yawned. "Anyway this has got to be the most bored I've ever been....well geez. This doesn't look very cheerful." Jade sighed.

"Well sorry...but it's hard to do things when I'm forced to lay in a bed all day, waiting for my body to repair itself." Cealus chuckled, "Heh, that makes me sound like I'm a robot..." He sighed, putting his hands behind his head.

"Well Ceal it's part of being hurt." Jade said as she leaned back in the chair. She gave half a smile. "At least he isn't here now." She added with a smirk and laughed a little.

"Yeah..." Cealus trailed off from there, zoning out by simply staring at the ceiling. Still feel off...gah, what did Xine do? Cealus wondered, looking at the door as if mentioning him so much would cause Master Xine to appear. He didn't.

Cealus let out a sigh of relief.

"You sick, your kinda zoning out on me Ceal." Jade said and looked at Ceal. Jade sighed. "Anyway,I'll better go and see Forin too. I'll swing by after." She said getting up and sighing.

  • Author

Cealus nodded. "Yeah, sorry. Probably just the after affects of whatever medicine I'm on at the moment." He shook his head, attempting to clear his mind. "I think Forin would like to see ya', anyways."

Jade smiled."I hope. Also I'll say hi to Forin for you. See you soon then." She said. She turn to him and gave a weak smile before she left to see Forin. She quickly headed over to Forin's room.

Cealus sighed, his usual smile now a frown. He jumped a bit when he heard what sounded like a sploosh, several bangs, and then a flash of a bright light followed by a "Woaaaah!" And all of a sudden, an oddly humanoid mouse was standing on Cealus' cot.

"What...the..?" Cealus began, his mouth open in shock.

"Oh!" The creature said, in a very high pitched, squeaky voice, "Hello! My name's Mickey! And uh...where am I?"

"The...uh, Land of Departure." Cealus responded, and Mickey smiled, "Hah, so Master Yen-Sid was right!"

Jade slowly opened the door. "Uh....hey Forin, I just wanted to stop by and say hi, for me and Ceal." She said and gave a nervous laugh. She slowly entered.

"It's different in here." She gave another nervous laugh. She sighed slightly.
