"C-Cealus!" She cried. "I'm sorry, I just no good under stress and everything here reminds me of my dad." She sighs. "I'm sorry." She says and half smiles."Thanks for being-" Jade stopped herself. "a true friend."

Cealus stopped for moment, turned to face Jade, and gave a silly grin. "You're welcome."

Cealus then resumed pulling jade by the hand, quickly reaching the Auditorium. Once there, they were directed to special seats within it.

The ceremony was boring...at least in Cealus' eyes. It wasn't much, just a congratulatory speech by Master Varius. After that, Varius had something interesting to announce.

"As is our tradition, the new Apprentice's will take upon a mission, set by the Masters. They may take only one partner- if they wish. The mission is simple enough. Once you and any partner you wish to take, speak to me." With that, the older Apprentice's clapped their hands, and Varius retreated to behind the Auditorium's stage.

"So." Cealus began, first turning to Forin to see her face. She had made it to the Auditorium quicker than Jade and Cealus did. Though she was already gone, speaking to some other apprentice.

"I geuss we should panter up, because we really know anyone else. Also thanks to my father I work better in teams." She said trying to smile, though this time she couldn't force a smile.

Cealus shrugged. "Might as well." he said, looking over to where Varius sat, waiting. "I'll go ahead and see what the mission is." Cealus quickly got up and went over to Master Varius. "Master," Cealus said, "What's the mission?" Varius looked at Cealus.

"You and your partner will go to a new world we've found- a place called Twilight Town." Varius rotated his wrist, and a portal opened. "It's a simple mission, just see hwta the place is like. That is all."

Cealus nodded, and ran back to Jade, telling her the mission's details.

"A new Plant...I thought Forin said she was from there." Jade said unsure of what to do now. "Plus my father visted there once before." Jade added. "What are those masters thinking" She thought to herself.

  • Author

Cealus shrugged. "Maybe they haven't actually fully explored it? I don't know." Cealus shrugged again. "Best if we go anyways. I've never even heard of Twilight Town though, I bet it's a neat place." Cealus gave another of his now 'trademark' smiles, and pointed at the portal.

"That's the thingy that'll take us to this place. You ready to go?"

"Sure, why not." She said. Jade had to smile at his cuteness. She walks over to portal. "Right when get there I can tell you about it." She said. "Maybe I need to tell the masters about it too?" She thinks.

Cealus gave a nod, quickly heading back to Varius. "We're ready...though apparently Twilight Town is already been found before. "

Varius sighed, "Damned my old brain. Did I say a new world? I must apologize. I meant a relatively new world. Compared to places like Radiant Garden, it is much younger." Varius motioned to the portal, and Cealus waved his hand, signaling for Jade to come.

"Oh..? You're bringing your girlfriend..?" Varius said slily, much to Cealus' discomfort. "S-she's not..." He mumbled, getting quite red.

Jade walked over and gave a half bow. "Hey Teach." She said as clamly as ever. "Ceal is everything okay?" She asked trying to make it seem like she didn't know he was blushing.

Cealus looked at Jade. "N-nothing...l-let's just go." He said, quickly running into the portal. His embarrassment, however, disappeared, as he walked his first steps into Twilight Town. "Woah." He said, looking at the beautiful, sunlit streets. What captured his interest, was the building in construction. Signs nearby dictated it was to be Twilight Town's clock tower, a symbol of friendship.

"Jade this...is so cool!" Cealus exclaimed, his grin returning. "Is that ice cream?!"

Jade ran after him gasping herself as she saw Twilight Town. "It's pretty crazy. Oh my lightness, THAT'S Sea-Salt....Ice-Cream!" She ran over to Cealus. "Ceal~E~Us~ can you by us some Ice-Cream, pwease~" She asked.

  • Author

Cealus' smile remianed, he nodded, and quickly ran over to the ice cream stand.

"Two bars of Sea-salt flavor, please!" Cealus said, laying down enough munny. The owner smiled in turn, handing over two bars of light blue ice cream bars. With those in hand, Cealus proceeded to run back to Jade, handing her a bar. Cealus began to lick his own, pleased by the flavor.

"It's...salty. But sweet in it's own way." Cealus looked at the unfinished clock tower, wondering what it could look like later on.

Jade took the Ice-Cream and started to eat it. "It's like tears, you can taste the happy and sad things." She said. "Hey if they ever finshed that clock tower let's come back." She said.

  • Author

"Yeah," Cealus said, "Some day." Cealus then thought for moment, and then looked at Jade.

"Er...weren't we on a mission..? It was to explore this place right?" Cealus looked about the place, they appeared to be in some sort of Sandlot or something. "But I guess, if it's just going to be all calm like this...there's no harm in just walking around...being friends...right?" Cealus gave his smile, amazingly having already finished off his ice cream. Cealus looked at the stick.

Winner. Hunh. I wonder what that means. Cealus shrugged.

"Yeah...I guess." Jade mumbled and looked around whilest still eating her Ice-Cream. "I think if we just walk around and ask people questions that would be fine I mean we can't really kill anyone." She said and finshed off her Ice-Cream,

Cealus nodded, looking around more. "Not too many people about...it is a very calm town." Cealus pulled out a small notebook, opening it and began to draw a sketch of the unfinished clock tower. Among the page was other sketches, thought most were of objects from Radiant Garden.

Cealus chuckled. "It's funny...it's almost a little too calm for my tastes. But I still think this place is amazing in every respect."

"It's a lot more calm than where I live." Jade said. She looked at Cealus. "I think right about now is when school is going on. Let's look around before school ends, okay Ceal?" She asked.

  • Author

Cealus nodded. "Sure." He pocketed his Popsicle stick along with his notebook. "I guess we should just walk around...right? I don't see too many people, and honestly...if you haven't noticed...I'm quite shy.." Cealus said, giving a semi-smile. "So." Cealus said, tilting his head, and grabbing Jade's hand.

"Where to first? I want to check out that clock tower. It looks really cool. But the signs say there's all sorts of cool stuff. A mansion, a Train Station..."

"Oh, yeah." She say starting to blush. "We could try the mansion. It sounds fun." Jade gave a big smile and then she patted Cealus's back. (I almost typed Jason xD) She then gave Another big smile,

Cealus nodded. "Cool!" Cealus looked around for some form of map, then sighed. "Thing is...I have no idea where it is. I just saw signs saying the new Mayor has finally built his mansion in the forest. Though I swear the name sounds familiar. Mayor Nasem...." Cealus shook his head.

"Meh, it is an exploration mission..right? This is a good excuse to do what we actually came to do." With that, Cealus turned, immediately smacking into someone.

"'S-sorry." Cealus said, looking at the man. "Hmm?" The man said, looking down, "I've never seen you around before. My name is Nasem." The man stood with prominence, his slightly blonde hair kept in a sort of ponytail, his reddish-orange eyes glowing with brilliance.

"You look familiar..." Cealus said, "Are you related to Ansem the First?" The man smiled.

"Yes. Ansem is my brother."

"....."Jade just kept chewing on her stick. At this point it was the only thing she could do. Chop, chop, chop. She made the sounds as she chrewed. Finally after what seemed like forever she spoke."Ummm." She said trying to get her question out there.

Nasem turned to Jade. "Ah. And you are? My guess is you're traveling together." Nasem gave a smile, "But I must get going. I have a meeting to attend to." With that, Nasem walked off. Cealus looked at Jade.

"Cool! I didn't know Ansem the First had a relative!" Cealus resumed his smile. "Well, I'd assume he would live in the mansion place."

"Well that easy enough for you to say." She said. Jade sighed. "Well maybe we should just head back." She says and then sighs. She looks around. "I'm starting to be tired." She wispered.

Cealus sighed. "Well, I want to stay a little bit longer. Check out the sights. I just feel...that this place will be important someday. Especially that Ice Cream. But I'll head back with ya' if you want. At least we did learn a little more about this place." Cealus patted the pocket that held his popsicle stick, wondering what

Winner meant.

Maybe i can ask the ice cream salesman about it. Cealus thought.

"Well okay, I geuss we could look around some more." Jade said and yawned. See looked at Cealus. "What are you doing?" She ask and looked at his pocket with the Ice-Cream stick still in her mouth.
