Jade pointed her Key-Blade and created a light portal. "Let's just go!" She said.

"And don't think you'll get away with making me blush!" She exclaimed.

  • Author

"But that happens all the time, though!" Cealus protested, shaking his head as he walked through. If he could he would've been blushing as he usually did; feeling awkward too, yet none of that was possible now.

"We're here." Cealus announced, stepping out of the portal, and into the mystic island that was Yen-Sid's home.

Jade had followed him."Yeah,we are." She sighed.

She walk up to the door and opened it and enter not wanting to be around a Ceal who couldn't feel. She slowly started up the steps. "When he gets his heart back he'll wish he hadn't!" She thought.

Cealus watched as Jade walked off, realizing he had hurt her. Running ahead, he soon walked behind Jade, a small look of worry flickering across his face as he attempted to mend the situation, "Look...I don't like this at all. Neither do you. You can't blame me for something that isn't either one of our fault's."

"It's not that...it's different than that." Jade shook her head.

"Oh and don't try to say it's not my fault...it is." She sighed.

Cealus patted Jade's shoulder as he began the beginning of the billion steps it took to reach the top of Yen-Sid's tower.

"Now, come on. And cheer up. It doesn't help when you're looking so glum." Cealus said, doing that old, cocky smile he used to do so much.

Ceal's word stung her and made her feel worst a lot worst. "You don't understand ok? Even if I told you,you wouldn't understand!" Jade started to walk faster.

"Why should I even try?" She asked herself.

"You don't think I know? I can't feel anything, Jade. Nothing at all. It hurts- I can't feel happy anymore. I can't feel embarrassed, awkward, or calm. I'm just...so...dull. And I hate it just as much as you do!" Cealus protested again, watching as Jade walked up the stairs. Cealus himself had stopped moving, instead resolving to sitting at the bottom step, alone.

Dang it. Why couldn't I have been stronger, and have just defeated Xehanort when I had the chance?!

Jade shook her head. "It isn't just that." She sighed stopping.

"Look-I'm sorry. I could have done more and I'm mad at myself." She turned around.

Cealus looked down, his head in his hands, "I couldn't even do anything." He murmured, looking back up at Jade with a sad look.

"I'm sorry." He said then, walked up the many steps, not saying a word as he reached Yen-Sid's door.

Jade sighed, turned back around and kept walking up the the stairs. "I guess...sorry won't fix anything." She whispered.

She gave another sigh."Look let's just do what we need to for now." She said.

Cealus pushed open the door that lead into Yen-Sid's chamber, looking to the wizened old wizard who sat at the mahogany desk before them.

"Ah! Cealus, and Jade. I see, so your exploits have succeeded, then? Xehanort is dead?" Yen-Sid asked, and Cealus nodded once.

"Yes. He is. But we have an issue. Two in fact."

Jade nodded. "I bet you know what they are though." She said.

She sighed again and looked over at Ceal. "I just hope it can be fixed."

"Come here, Cealus." Yen-Sid ordered, and Cealus did as the wizard asked- walking up to his dark brown desk, watching as Yen-Sid stood up, and examined Cealus's body.

"Quite...you are, in fact, a Nobody Cealus. And I can tell you do not like it; neither do you, Jade. Now, Nobodies are a curious sort...but I do know one way to 'cure' it, per se....the Heartless of a Nobody must be destroyed, then the Nobody itself."

"Are you telling me Ceal has to die again?" Jade asked worriedly.

"And his Heartless is in this time right?" She was getting worried.

  • Author

Yen-Sid shook his head, "Cealus will not die from this. However- the Heartless is essentially the destruction of his darkness, which releases his Heart back to the realm of light. Therefore..." Yen-Sid said, pulling the Key-chain from Cealus's hand, "You would use this in conjunction with your own powers to destroy it. And that, I beleve, would be up to you, Jade. You, who still has a Heart, and holds a great love for Cealus. You will have to destroy the Heartless."

"I have to...do it...? Okay. If it's the only way." Jade was shocked and now, more worried than ever.

"I'm ready..for it.." She really wasn't ready, but you knew it had to be done.

  • Author

Yen-Sid nodded, handing the Key-Chain to Jade, "I must prepare. I shall find where Cealus's Heartless is- so you may quickly find it, and destroy it." Yen-Sid said, heading out of the room, "Just sit tight the both of you."

Cealus looked to Jade, walking up to her. "Be careful."

Jame smiled."The Key-Chain huh,I guess you were Important." She shook her head.

"Anyway,I don't plan on getting beat by you!" She said and smirked.

  • Author

"You're important, too, Jade." Cealus said, his smile small. "You're the one who gets to finally end this big quest." He Cealus gave her a hug, before stepping back, "So go on- I'll stay here and root for ya'. I know you're gonna win."

"Well,yeah." Jade laughed.

She smiled. Yeah, after all this we can go home."

  • Author

Yen-Sid walked back in, looking to Jade, "I found it. It lies within the castle in Radiant Garden- in the very bowels of the keep. I'll send you there post-haste. It is about time the both of you head home. Your journey has been a long one." With that, Yen-Sid sat back in his chair, flicked his hands about, and a golden portal shot open.

"Best of luck to you, Jade."

"Uh,thank you for your help in everything." Jade did a small bow before heading into the portal.

"It's both weird and normal that it would be there-that is after all his home." She let a small smile go on her lips.

On the other side of the portal, laid a dank, worn-out basement area, where various dusty boxes and ruined furniture sat. The dust was practically  veil that covered the area, a pairing that with the musty smell; made it hard on breathing.

To make matters worse- it seemed the shadow's themselves stirred in this room.

"Jade better do well." Cealus murmured, missing the moments he got to share- "I'll never forgive myself if she dies."

Jade coughed."The air here is pretty bad.." She sneezed.

"A-ah choo!" She pinched her nose.
