Jade sighed."I know he should be in the Castle..but,how do I get in and where would be?" She shook her head.

"I remember he said he liked to read and visit Merlin...he also had a Master...hm...I'll try to just look around.." She nodded at her plan.

Cealus jerked awake, sitting striaght forward- his mind breaking out of the oblivion and cold sweat that clung to him only seconds prior.

"W-where am I?!" He said, looking around in a wild confusion, his eyes finally settling on the dusty, old library that lied within his castle home.

"Oh. I'm here." He murmured, getting up.

Jade sighed."Well I know where Merlin lives..." She started for the old wizard's home.

"I bet he'd know if anyone." She said.

Cealus began to alk around the dusty room, coughing occasionally due to the thick layer of dust that covered the room like a still yet floating blanket.

"I feel...me...again." Cealus said, smiling as he wobbled around. After his return to humanity- he had become severely weakened; this left him to wobble a bit as he walked, but he could feel himself getting better.

"I need to find Jade." He said, walking out of the library- though not before stumbling a bit.

Jade finally arrived at Merlin's house and knock on the door hoping the old wizard has home."Merlin, are you home I need to ask something of you. It's very important...please open." She said and waited.

Merlin appeared in a puff of hazy smoke, opening his thin wooden door.

"Oh! Jade, Hello! Long time no see...and uh, where is Cealus? Oh...did he get lost again? I swear that boy has about much sense as I have spare change...yeesh.." Merlin said, his old wizard mind quickly going off-track of things.

"No,no...but thank you~ May I come in?" She asked a weak smile on her lips.

"He's an odd fellow." She thought to herself.

"Of course, of course! Come in, come in!" Merlin, opening the door wider, stepping aside to allow Jade entrance into his humble abode.

"What is it that's troubling you, Jade?" Merlin asked, repositioning his blue hat upon his head, pacing about his small shack.

Gotta find her, gotta find her. Was the one thought that raced through Cealus's mind as he ran abut Radiant Garden, trying to locate Jade, hoping she would be nearby.

"I hope I haven't been out for too long...oh God, what if I've been out for a year?!" Cealus murmured, his mind becoming frantic as he went over the numerous possibilities, most of them though, far too irrational.

Jade entered his small house and smiled, then frowned. "Ceal is around the area...but I wouldn't know where to look." Jade quickly told him the reason she came hoping he could help.

Merlin nodded, "Hmm, so he did get lost. How peculiar. Well, I suggest you stay here and wait for him- he also has a knack for finding things he cares a lot about. Like his puppy...or that one book he read a lot, stuff like that. In other words, he'll come. Rest assured." Merlin said, smiling as he took off his glasses.

"Not to get off topic but he had a wittle, cute puppy?" Jade asked.

"Ahhh~ A little Ceal with a puppy." She laughed at her own thought.

Merlin smiled, and nodded, "Yes! It was a very, very long time ago. He was, eh, about six, was it? But yes, he had a small puppy. The two of them were inseparable. Of course, eventually things got too hectic for the Lord, and he had to give the puppy to someone else." Merlin said. Merlin sighed and began to shuffled some books around,  obviously already lost in thought.

"Better go check with Merlin..he always seems to have an idea of where people are. Usually." Cealus muttered, having stopped in the Shopping District; he ran off though, heading off towards Merlin's shack.

"That sounds just like him to have a dog. That must have been cute~" Jade said and gave a gleeful smile.

"Though way does he never talk about his childhood...it kind of makes me sad. Is there anything he could be hiding?" She asked.

Merlin shrugs, "I think it'd be bad if I told you all that. Wouldn't it be better to ask Cealus directly?" Merlin asked, sitting down on a wicker chair a few feet away from where Jade stood.

"He'll be here soon, I believe."

~Cealus stopped before Merlin's door, knocking once. When merlin didn't answer in the time-frame Cealus wanted -which was precisely .35 seconds- , Cealus opened the door himself, poking his head in to see the home's current visitors.

"Jade!" Cealus said, realizing she too had entered, "You're here!"

Jade ran over and hugged him. "You better not get hurt like that again!" She said in a warning tone.

"Besides..." She let go of him. "Your hiding something from me,you won't tell my your childhood. You should share with me...I do with you..." She sighed.

Cealus looked at Jade, confused, "You never asked. I'll tell you whatever you want once we get home, okay? And first..." Cealus said, leaning forward to kiss Jade upon the cheek. He leaned back, smiling, "I've been wanting to do that for awhile now."

Jade's face went fully red. "Well..okay. Anyways~ Merlin we have to go,thanks for the help!" She told him.

"Alight Ceal...we can go now." She said.

  • Author

"Right." Cealus said, giving a good-bye wave to the old wizard he called a friend. Cealus reopened the door, kindly holding it open for Jade, "Let's go, madam." Cealus said, doing a posh-fake accent. He smiled a goofy smile, reveling fully in the fact he could once again feel.

God, it's feels so better now.  I can actually feel happiness again.

Jade smiled and said as if reading his mind "Isn't the heart a tricky thing." and the looked out the door that was be held for her.

"Ah well I guess the portal would still be open..maybe." She whispered the last part.

Cealus nodded, his heart beating rapidly as his excitement increased- sure, it had only been a few hours of being a Nobody; but losing emotions is a terrible things, and so Cealus felt extremely hyper over that fact.

"Yes, let's go. I want to go home now."

Jade smiled."Yesh I'd swear I was with a little kid." She laughed.

She gave a tiny smile. "Okay, well follow me~" She said and started to walk off.

Cealus sighed, "H-Hey! I'm not a little kid, I'm as old as you are!" Cealus protested, but sighed again as he meekly followed behind Jade, obviously having been defeated so easily by her.

Gah...I'm not some child. I may act like one, but I'm not child! Cealus thought, looking down.

Jade giggled. "Your cute~" She said.

Her smile widened. "I see it." She cried.

Cealus flushed, following Jade as they returned to the portal. "Sweet...and just in time too. I really need some sleep, pronto." Cealus said, stretching and yawning for both dramatic effect, and the fact he really did need to do both of those things.

Jade smiled and took his hand."But we do need to thank Master Yen Sid." She said slowly.

"He's been verrry helpful." She smiled once more.
