Posted

Long before the three heroes -Ventus, Aqua, and Terra- set foot in another world, long before even the terror of Master Xehanort could even be prophesied....long ago when Keyblade warriors were many.

They all gathered at The Land of Departure. Here, it was known as the Keyblade academy, where young apprentices seeking the ways of light would find themselves here. And two young teens, both aspiring to be named Master, find themselves here. What adventure awaits?

"Yes." Cealus replied, reaching the very bottom of the steps- walking up to the double doors that would let him exit the building. He stood there, leaning against the wall, simply waiting for Jade to reach the bottom as well. Cealus yawned once, blinking a few times as he tried to wipe himself of the last specks of sleepiness that still lingered in his mind.

Jade came down the stairs. "Now don't fall asleep on me." She laughed.

"Oh,btw." She kissed his nose. "I owed you that."

Cealus blushed furiously, not expecting the motion at all. Well, she certainly got me to wake up. Cealus thought, cracking a smile at how easy it was for Jade to cheer him up. "Don't worry, I'll try my best to stay awake." Cealus said with a smile, exiting the building itself. "You remember which room it was, right?"

Jade shook her head."No." She said.

She sighed shaking her head. "I'm sorry." She told him.

"Nah, it's fine. I'm pretty sure if I give it some thought, I'll eventually remember." Cealus said, motioning to go down the diverging path that lead to one of the few buildings Cealus had never been to: the Academy's primary teaching wing.

"Here it is...now...which room was it..."

Jade smiled. "It's very cute~" She smiled.

She then laughed. "This is nice." She whispered.

Cealus blushed again, pushing open the door to head inside the building. The inside was basic enough, similar to that of typical boarding schools found around today- except holding the influence of the Keyblade Masters. "Hunh...not bad....I guess. Kinda stuffy."

"I like it." Jade told him.

"Show how it being normal in here makes me feel better." She said.

Cealus nodded, "Yes, It's very nice, isn't it? A lot calmer than 90% or the rest of the freakin' campus." Cealus commented, looking down one hallway to get an idea of where their room was. "Dang it...it was in the three-hundreds....right...?"

"331?"Jade asked.

"I think that was it." She said.

Cealus nodded, turning left to face a flight of stairs. "Using my magical deduction powers, I'd say that would be the 31st room of the third floor." Cealus said aloud, acting as if his deduction was the best thing ever. "Now, off we go! Allons-y!" Cealus shouted, getting his near-natural perkiness back.

Jade laughed a started up the stairs."Haha,I'm beating you." She teased.

"Race ya' kinda." She told him.

  • Author

"'Kinda'?! It's either a race, or it's not! No in-between!" Cealus replied, dashing with all his might to catch up to Jade, "I'll beat ya' for sure! Y'know, we should place a bet for who wins, and what happens!" Cealus declared, his cockiness getting to him; clouding his mind and judgement as usual.

"Calm down it is a school." Jade said in a low tone.

"So,no being silly." She declared.

"You're no fun at all.." Cealus muttered, making it up the last few steps to the third floor. The stairs still went on from there; it appeared the building still had two other floors on top, leading Cealus to believe that the student body was larger than he first thought.

"Well, here it is. Floor three." Cealus said, opening the wooden doors.

Jade nodded."Fun? I'm saving us the trouble." She told him.

"The trouble just isn't worth it." She added.

Cealus sighed. Like that, all of his temper had been flushed away, as if he realized his mistake, "Oh. Sorry then." He said, offering a confident smile as reassurance. "Let's hurry up now, no point in dilly-dallying. It'll only keep us from learning. Who knows what we'll find out."

Jade nodded."Yes Sir,Silly Sir." She smiled warmly and took his hand.

"Okay,I'm ready. With my bag and with you." She added.

Cealus flushed every so slightly, his face getting a slight hint of red. "Right."

He looked to the sign in front of him, showing that all rooms from one to fifty were to the left hall, while 51 to 100 were to the right. "Thirty-one, correct? That means we take the left hall."

"Yes,I think it is." Jade said and turn down the left hall.

"I think your the best thing in my life." She said.

Cealus blushed again, this time he grew a bit more red than his previous time.

"Y-you are too, Jade. You've really given to me something to be grateful for. Thank you." Cealus said, closing his eyes in a soft, kind smile as he reached the door labeled: 'Room 331'. "Ready?" He asked, looking to Jade, hand on the doorknob.

Jade nodded."As I'll ever be." She said.

"I love you." She whispered to him.

"I love you too." Cealus said, pushing the door open. Inside was your average class room. Wooden desk neatly lined up into rows, one large desk for the teacher, and a black board spanning the width of an entire wall. It look calm and peaceful. Three people stood inside. Master Varius, another Master who looked even older than Varius, and a far younger woman who still wore the black-blue robes of a Master.

"Oh! Varius. 'Ello." Cealus said, waving a bit.

"We're here?" Jade asked.

"Or did we mess up big time?" She added.

The older Master snorted. "Kids these days..." He grumbled, staring at Cealus with a disapproving look.

"You're fine, You've made it on time, at least." Varius said, looking at Jade and Cealus, his eyes appearing to be sizing the both of them up. "Now....I do believe you both have questions needing to be answered, correct?" Varius asked.

"Yes, sir." Cealus responded, "A few."
