I was in Traverse Town and I completed a special portal as Sora. When I looked in Reports and went into Link Portals it said the one I had just completed was one of Riku's special portals. WTF?!

uh oh you've got a really bad glitch that glitch makes it impossible to get all the secret portals done, Reason behind this is because the portals are switched between Sora and Riku. Riku has Sora's and vise virsa in later worlds this becomes a bigger issue

But if Sora's portals are Riku's and Riku''s portals are Sora's, then all he have to do is play all of then just as normal.

Has anyone figured out any way to reverse this? It wouldn't be such an issue if Sora and Riku could just go to all the same areas...

No in later worlds they don't do to the same areas making it impossible to do any portals

there's a few ways to avoid it but nothing has been set in stone as saying the glitch won't still happen

1. way: to skip the first flashback you see as Riku (back in the straight up begining) (I didn't do this)

2. way: to start a new save file multiple time, eventually it will fix itself after enough save files have been made (I did this but not because of this glitch, I did it for the wild dream eater AR card)

but if you have it the only thing you can do, if you were wanting to complete all the portals, is start the game over. you can do either one of the 2 ways to avoid it but it might still happen. But one thing is for sure if you don't have this glitch complete every worlds portal before completing the game, cause I also heard that this glitch can still happen after beating the game

I think it may have somehow reversed itself. I just found a special portal in TWTNW as Riku, and after I beat it it said I had completed Riku's portal.

Didn't they release a patch for some issue in the Japanese version of the game? If they did, I don't see why they wouldn't do it again. Unless they didn't release a patch, they just fixed it for the English release...

A guy from KHInsider proved that this works. I've tried it myself and can tell you that it's worked for me.

Depending on time zones(it was last night for me), she said she didn't experience any glitches. Now here we are with this thread.
