Does anyone know how to get permission to sell homemade Kingdom Hearts art/crafts etc? I was wondering, because the art I am creating for the Meow Wow plushie contest is good enough that I would like to try to sell it, but I don't know how the copyright stuff would work out for something like that.

Do I need to get written consent? If so, from where?

If not, do I just need to give credit to Square Enix or something?

Please help me! I don't want to get in trouble with the owners of my favorite games... O.o

If your selling just a single piece of art you really don't need a consent. It's one of those things where technically by law you do, however no one is really going to come after you for selling fan art.

Email them. If they say no, oh well. Don't risk getting in trouble.

I tried e-mailing [email protected], but they just said that they weren't the right people to ask and weren't very helpful about finding who was. :(

It's not quite done yet. :D It's drying, and then I have some other things to do to it before it is finished. I'll definitely show you guys when it's done, though.

Ugh! Now they've said I have to ask Disney for permission, and after looking at Disney's licensing information, I have pretty much lost all hope. There's no way they'll ever pay any attention to a little person like me asking for permission. They're too BIG! http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/smiley-cry.png
