Did anyone set special conditions for themselves?

Posted

When I play KH games, I like a slight challenge, so I change it up a little. In BBS, I only used unique Keyblades and Commands for each character.

So in 3D, I set these conditions (Proud Mode) that lasted until Postgame.

Sora:

Only Kingdom Key

Only Spell Commands

Riku:

Only Way to the Dawn

Only Attack Commands (and Cure spells)

Did anyone do anything similar?

Original keyblades as in every kigdom hearts game, but nothing else. Maybe after I finish my crit lvl 1 run though....

i got bored with lvl 1 so i restarted it and did no magic commands including cures and i can only use attack commands and i cannot use drop me nots

Beat julius with that and I will proclaim you a god!

i kinda did that cause sora used lots of magic and my riku used mostly attacks but i'd always use the newest keyblade i got

I'm looking forward to hearing how that goes. ;)

LOL NOPE.

I'm just gonna play at Beginner level with all the commands I want.

I know i'm a wussy.

Critical Mode Level 1

Original Keyblades (For Bosses)

Only 1 Curative Spell (Cura)

(Other than Cura) no magic commands

If you can do that, you are the best KH player :D

That Cura thing is the most intimidating part of the playthrough. Do you use the Mini Spell to beat opponents?

No. I noticed Lord Kyroo uses it but it hardly does any damage when I attack a mini'd opponent.

Oh, so stepping on them doesn't do massive damage like it does in BBS? Okay, I'll keep that in mind during my Crit Lv. 1 run.

One thing I did notice is that there is a HUGE difference in damage when you get Spirit Roar with the original keyblade and when you get Spirit Roar with a higher attack keyblade. With the original keyblade there is hardly a difference in damage, with a higher attack keyblade and full support boost you can get of a bar of HP (with physical attacks) before Spirit Roar runs out. Note that this attack difference is only like 8.

What exactly is Spirit Roar? I've seen it, but I'm not sure what it does.

It's a spell some Dreameaters use that give a huge boost in (I want to say physical damage since there is a Faith support spell that dream eaters use).
