I've noticed something in my travels about the similarities between certain story's and their plots, this is when I found out about the plot of naruto. A best friend who is taken by a dark and evil force, also confronted by a secret organization who's leader has multiple selves. Does this sound simmilar to a game that we all know and love? My question is, which came first and if so, we're did this story idea originate from ( possibly Japanese mythology and stuff)

Here's the difference though: Main villain in Naruto's multiple selves are personas, KH main villain has literal multiple selves. Plus, these themes have existed in almost every mythological/ story-telling culture.

Also what exactly does this have to do with chickens and eggs?

yea the theme is used in multiple stories (which i cant name right off the back lol)

There's also 13 members of the Akatsuki

There's been many more than 13 members of the Akatsuki.

Well, yeah. Depends on what Akatsuki you're talking about. There was the Anti-rain group led by Yahiko, and then there's the criminal organization. And Naruto came first. (1997 was the oneshot, it started publishing in 1999.)

Although that's where the similarities end anyways.

Well both Akatsukis had more than 13 members, but for different reasons.

And as for story similarities, there's also the fact that both Naruto and Sora are only serious in super-serious situations.

Yeah, but Sasuke is just plain evil (or he has become evil). He's not twisted, he's not just tied to darkness. He's evil, plain and simple. And the characters in the Akatsuki (Excluding Hidan, Kisame, Orichimaru, and Kakazu) had reasons behind their actions, not just loli'mevil Xehanorts.

You could argue Sasuke is twisted, but if he ignores Itachi, who tells him not to destroy his village when he's destroying it for Itachi, Sasuke's just evil.

This is the point I gave up on Sasuke.
