October 4, 201213 yr I think so, but only for a few characters. I'm glad they limited it to The Doctor and River because it would have gotten cheesy if everyone regenerated.
October 4, 201213 yr Regeneration is better than ending the show or changing the protagonist. It wouldn't work if Amy, Rose, Donna, or Rory regenerated, so I'm glad they provided an explanation for the main character leaving the show. If not, it would be like Family Matters when the mother of the Winslows was replaced in the last few episodes with no reasonable explanation for the series. At least in Bolt the girl got plastic surgery to change her face.

I also liked how they even explained why River can no longer regenerate. Also don't forget about the 10th doctors clone chick that ended up being half Time Lord as well. (Who David Tennant is now dating/engaged to because he's a keener like that)

October 4, 201213 yr She's his daughter... Who had his child... That's creepy... He talks of her as a child, but she's more a spliced clone as a friend of mine has explained to me. Most of David Tennat's plot lines are so complicated. It was worth it to see him in that suit. = .=
